Would give 0 stars if I could

Would give 0 stars if I could. Appalling company who literally made me cry. Selling far beyond their capability. AVOID at all costs.
I bought a TV on their website, which offered shipping 2 days later. I would have considered collecting in person but I figured free delivery, why not?! I called on the morning delivery was due to check times etc and was told by the useless sales assistant we don't know anything, can't tell you anything, don't ask. Waited in all day and not a peep. Phoned again at 3pm to be told the TV was still sat in their warehouse! Was yelled at by the guy on the phone who kept ranting about how they are just a small shop so they wait until they have enough orders, and blaming me for booking delivery on a day they couldn't do. I told him I literally just did what their website let me do 🤷‍♀️ He kept saying "I'm just a guy who works in a shop, nothing to do with me". Don't believe all the guff on the website about "helpful customer service advisers", this guy couldn't/wouldn't help anyone. When I asked for a refund he said fine and hung up the phone as I was mid-sentence asking when my refund would come through.
Extremely disappointing, terrible service, never again. Bought the same TV from Currys and had it delivered the next day with several emails confirming, a text before delivery, and the friendliest delivery guy. Avoid this so-called business, they are just a Mickey mouse operation and rude af.

I was a little worried about buying…

I was a little worried about buying something so expensive online incase there was a problem.

Unfortunately there was a problem but the customer services at Digiland was exceptional. They dealt with everything quickly efficiently and professionally to achieve a good out come.
I would recommend them to anyone!!!

Thanks to all at Digiland for being so good.

The second tv have ordered great value for the price compared to rrp.came in a replacement box not a mark scratch on it mint condition. Commcation emails delivery times all spot on.would highly recommend from both my orders

Went to digiland after looking on the…

Went to digiland after looking on the net, they had what I wanted in stock, and got the item at net price, talked to the guys there, had a good look at the product, great service, I checked other outlets and they would have had to order it in, next time I want an electrical item I'm going there first, thanks guys, 😃

Customer service

Ordered my TV online and Collected it from the store, the sales rep assured me all the accessories were in the box, when I got home and opened the box the power lead was missing, I rang the store back the following day to he advised a replacement lead will be sent in the post, waited for a week nothing received, emailed the store for a update still no response, rang the store spoke to a sales assistant who advised they didn't post it out, spoke to the manager who didn't really apologise and just said he would post it himself, this was the first time I ordered something from here and will be the last very unprofessional would not recommend to shop from here.

Resolved an issue I had with immediate…

Resolved an issue I had with immediate effect. Parcel was damaged by the courier company. One quick call and they forwarded me a replacement promptly.
Great product and service. Would highly recommend.

I would award 0 if it were possible.

I purchased my Samsung UE43CU7100, 43 inch, 4K Ultra HD, Smart TV from Digiland several days ago. The sales staff were very helpful at the point of sale and it was easy to set up at home as they said. Unfortunately although it was factory sealed I placed too much reliance on the Samsung set up instructions. There should have been a protective plastic cover to peel off the screen but it did not have such a cover. By the time I realised this it was too late and I had in fact begun to remove the critically important polarising screen. I now have a badly damaged brand new TV. Thus afternoon I visited Digiland and explained what had happened. It is apparently not unknown - a repair would cost over £200 and labour would be £45 which the salesman said they might waive - I had hoped that it would be simply a matter of exchanging the TV but was told that was not the way the business operated. I was disappointed at the lack of care taken over a known issue and failure to alert me to this. I fully accept that I caused the damage to the TV but I am no expert in these matters. I did say that it would make good sense to simply swap the TV and they would have had a satisfied customer who would have recommended them to anyone else. However this will not happen so I award a 1 to the company and if I could award zero I would do so. Such a pity.

We understand how frustrating it must have been to accidentally damage the screen while setting up the device. As you acknowledged in your review, the damage was caused during setup, and because of this, we were unable to offer a replacement unit free of charge. Providing a new TV in this situation would have left us out of pocket, as we cannot resell or recover the damaged unit.

However, we did offer a goodwill gesture in the form of a reduced repair cost and the possibility of waiving the labor fee in an effort to assist you as best as we could.

We genuinely appreciate your understanding that the damage was unintentional, but we hope you can also understand our limitations in this case. If there’s anything more we can do to assist, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
