I bought this because I need a hands-free bag for documents and valuables while transferring from a sailing boat to shore in a very small dingy; going overboard is a real risk, so the bag needs to be completely waterproof. This bag was chosen after watching the Dreadysays review on YouTube. Mine has not been tested in the water yet, but the build quality looks outstanding and it absolutely looks like it will withstand a quick submersion if I go overboard. I only have two issues: first, the should strap is only attached on one side of the bottom of the bag, meaning it can only be worn one way round. It would be so much more comfortable if it could be worn on either side by offering a clip at the bottom of the strap and on each side of the bag (there’s a buckle at the top of the shoulder strap, so it would make sense); second, the stabilizer strap attaches to the middle of the shoulder strap above the length adjuster. As I am 6’4” tall this places it in the upper half of the strap, so it doesn’t wrap around my waist and this makes it very uncomfortable to wear. Thankfully it is removable, so I am just not going to use it. This is not an issue for me as I won’t be surfing, I’ll be sitting in a dingy and hopefully not getting too wet. The bag fits the brief extremely well, the price is very reasonable, and I’m very happy with it.
