Ignore the negatives I purchased a twin set of T1 internal cameras really cheap absolute breeze to set up works seamlessly with google and came with all the bits that you need look if they last a year I still got my money back

I purchase an Owltron smartcam, bought it over a year ago from Amazon. I installed it just recently, (I completely forgot about it and got buried in a lot of other projects I had going). recently I noticed it stopped functioning. I emailed their customer service on the their website, I got the run around and after numerous emails they tell me the warranty has elapsed and I'm out of luck. Plus another excuse they used was that they do not sell on Amazon anymore. They're one of the companies who hide behind their one year warranty, I could understand if it was a mechanical product with a lot of moving parts, then yes wear an tear is hard to cover after a year. But its an electronic component which sits on a covered porch. I will never purchase anything them Owltron again/ Buyer beware.

First camera died in the first year, replacement died less than a year later and all I’m being offered is 15% off. Cheap rubbish.

I'm extremely disappointed with these cameras (Owltron 4MP Outdoor Security Cameras) , particularly the flawed design and poor construction of the Micro SD card slots. The issues I experienced made them virtually unusable.

1. Faulty Micro SD card slots, causing repeated failures to recognize cards.
2. Abysmal customer service: ignored emails, no support or solutions offered.

Avoid these cameras due to:

I bought a subscription for iCloud storage (1time annually) $39.99 USD and it was to renew automatically. A lightening storm took out my internet modem box and I had to restart the camera to set up my internet on it, and now the price has jacked up to $68.99 not impressed. I asked customer service if they can put it back to my original price, they just said sorry price has gone up.

Had an Owltron camera that became defective, texted with their app's text chat, sent screen shots of intermittent camera malfunction, and at their request reset & restarted the camera and hooked it back up. Was still same problem, so they verified my unit, my contact info, and the order number on the unit. Then, they offered 1. full refund, no return required, or 2. full replacement, no return required, no shipping/handling. Absolutely satisfied.

These cameras have been a godsend for me and my family not only to watch the baby but also keep an eye on the house.

I had to write a review for this company . Treated with respect and kindness to there customers .
I bought a twin pack for indoor to keep an eye on my dog while at work but got sent a free outdoor 2k camera for free as a valued customer ... really works great will be staying with them for security
