Do not purchase a plan from this company; if you do, pay only on a month-to-month basis. The service part of the warranty is managed by a third party. There are no refunds for prepaid plan cancellations. I am a retired Army Officer and warn any leader to counsel any service member before the purchase of any of these types of warranties. I purchased the Plantnium plan for one of my vehicles, a 2017 BMW X6, with me as the only owner and BMW as the only servicer. Ox Car's third-party servicer has denied every claim BMW has submitted over the past 24 months. Buyer beware. I recommend any owner create a service savings account by putting any funds you use to buy one of these plans.

I'm Very upset with this company
I'm Very upset with this company! Ox Car care look for reasons to deny your claim but will lie to get your money. I paid the contract off early in full only to be told my AC and my front end motor mounts could not be paid for under the warranty. I called them before taking my car in for these repairs and they told me that they would cover the repair under the warranty. then when I had it checked out and giving my view of what problems I was having with both items. The AC problem ended up being that the seals for the unit compressor was leaking causing it to run hot air. The unit didn't need a recharge it needed repair for seals to be replaced. I paid over 4000.00 to these collectors and I can't get 600.00 from them to fix my AC. They also found reasons to not fix my motor mounts after telling me they would cover the motor mounts they came back and said I drove it too long before submitting the claim I don't understand the motor mounts were bad so fixing them early wasn't going to change the fact they were still needing changing. They say I still have 3yrs worth of warranty but I want waist my time believing that one. I feel very used by them and will not ever speak well of them to no one I will just advise them to trust nothing they say or advertise.

Do not use OX Car Care!!! They will take your money and then find and invent ways to not pay your claim. My oil separator/(PCV) broke on my engine. The valve started leaking oil in my intake and drawing a vacuum. Ox said that that air leaks are not covered by the contract. I explained that the air leak was due to the failed oil separator valve that is covered by the contract. It didn't matter to them that the cause of the leak was due to the failed covered part. They used the vacuum leak as the reason for the denial of my claim. They will use anything to not pay a claim.

This company are liars. First of all they tell you they are veteran owned LIAR..not true. They do whatever they can to stall the repair needed which means your car is inoperable for really long times. They do not compensate if you need a rental. The customer service are real HACKS. They make you go through a lengthy process and the mechanics THEY tell you to see are also HACKS. Most of the repair shops want nothing to do with them. A total Rip Off. They continue to charge your credit card after you cancel which means you have to have your bank continually stop payments every month.

Worst warranty company ever they’re gonna lie and say they’re gonna pay the full bill when you have to pay the fuel bill and they might reimburse you. There’s no refund and you can’t use it till after 60 days so they already got the payment and continuously will call you to re-sign up. It’s a scam. My ex told me to sign up for it. I shouldn’t know better.
Promises vs. Contract Reality
I am writing this to warn other potential customers about the misleading sales tactics used by this company. When I was being sold the AutoGuard Premier plan, the representative explicitly and repeatedly told me that my vehicle's hybrid/EV battery was "absolutely covered" for life.
However, after reviewing the actual 32-page contract (which I never even signed), I found that the written terms say the exact opposite. According to Section IX, Article P (page 12) of the contract, there is no coverage for the breakdown or replacement of the HEV Battery/Battery Pack or HEV Battery cells. In fact, it specifically excludes battery "degradation" in its ability to hold a charge.
When I confronted them about this, I discovered the contract also contains an "Entire Agreement" clause (Section II, page 3) which states that "No oral changes are binding" and only the written document counts. This means the "lifetime battery coverage" I was promised is legally worthless according to their own fine print.
Furthermore, I am technically located in Idaho, and the contract states that this agreement is not even guaranteed by the Idaho Guarantee Association.
My advice: Do not trust what the representatives tell you over the phone. Ask for the full PDF contract before you give them any payment information. Their verbal promises do not match their written exclusions, and they use technicalities to deny the very coverage they claim to provide. I will be exercising my right to a full refund within the 30-day "Free Look" period.

ZERO STARS if possible. They charge your card every month then deny every single claim. Then when you try to cancel your policy they give the run around of sending emails and VIN and documents then refuse to cancel. IF a service is no longer required you should just be able to call and cancel. NO they want you to keep paying for their crappy service. OX Car Care with my experience is not an honest company. I had a claim that said to be approved but my repair shop or I could not get up with the adjuster. I called 10 times in 1 hour and was on hold for more than 30 minutes each time. I requested a refund had the warranty for 18 months.

I am submitting this complaint regarding an extended service warranty company that has engaged in deceptive practices, bad-faith claim handling, and unfair treatment of a paying consumer.
I am the policyholder on multiple extended service warranty policies, including Policy Number OXXXXXXXX. I have paid a total of $6,384 in premiums to date. Two of the three policies are one payment away from being paid in full, demonstrating my consistent good-faith performance under these contracts.
Despite timely payments and compliance with all policy requirements, every claim I have submitted has been denied. These denials are not based on legitimate exclusions, but instead on superficial technicalities, hyper-technical interpretations of policy language, or minor procedural issues. This creates a pattern in which coverage is effectively illusory.
The company advertises and markets its products as providing “hassle-free claims” and peace of mind. In practice, claims are systematically obstructed or denied, which directly contradicts these representations and appears misleading and deceptive.
Additionally, my interactions with customer service have been consistently negative. Representatives have been rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, often providing inconsistent explanations or refusing to meaningfully address my concerns. Calls are prematurely ended without resolution, and escalation requests are ignored or delayed.
This conduct raises serious concerns of:
Bad-faith claim handling
Deceptive or misleading advertising
Unfair and abusive acts or practices (UDAAP)
Collecting premiums without intent to provide meaningful coverage

I did not allow Ox Care to get me to commit. On December 16 a representative tried to convince me of their warranty. I could not get him off the phone and finally hung up on him. I continued receiving calls from them and choice not answer.
I decided to call them back on December 29 to request not receive any more calls. The representative I spoke apologized for the behavior of the other one. But he did the same thing; trying his best to convince me to go with them. I hung up on him also.

I’ve never reached out to them, but for three years they’ve been calling me and harassing me and forcing their service on me all 872 area code phone numbers, but the phone number is different with 872 area codes this is gotten out of hand to be calling me at 10:30 and 1130 at night multiple times back to back like who does that who has this type of time on their hands what company hired people that harass people like this? I’ve called 911 I’ve literally reported this company to the police. I have legal aid, lawyers, tracing, IP addresses trying to find out who’s behind this harassment. Ox Car Care - No Ox and No Care
Ox Car Care has been a disaster! I have tried on thee separate occasions to file a claim. All claims have been denied and these were not, I repeat, not expensive claims or unusual. When I purchased my two, yes two, plans for two vehicles, I was told that one of their big selling points was that their Claims Department was in-house, not third-party. Of course, now it is third party and ridiculously difficult to reach. My vehicle was taken in on a Monday and the dealer could not reach anyone in Claims until Friday, so the vehicle sat and no repair was even started. Then, of course, the claim was denied and I have to pay for it anyway. A claim that the dealer made six months ago was called in, approved over the phone (which is the method they use), and then when the dealer filed the claim for payment, it was denied. This company looks for anyway possible reason to deny your claims no matter how ridiculous it is. Moreover, they completely ignored a covered elements coverage on the contract when they could not argue their denial.
Paid over $3000 to OX
Paid over $3000 to OX. One claim denied stating wife hit parking curb breaking lower part of radiator flange, ok maybe so. Claim two and three were compliant but denied. I suspect OX is a little slippery in their practices with high denial percentages. It was our first experience with an extended warranty plan….we learned a lesson.
