As an update to my review a few months ago, I did get a reply from ozzi cancelling my account, but not until I reminded them that I knew how it was a scam as the UK trading standards have outlawed them as dangerous. There is no fuse inside and wiring is thin and not up to any standard. Variants by other companies have been removed from over the counter sellers and this whole company is a sham. I had plugged one into a safe socket (nothing flammable nearby) and after running it for an hour it suddenly went bang and stank the room out with a burnt smell. Removing it from the socket and I could tell that it had shorted out and I was glad that I was nearby to remove it fast. They went into the bin. This heater has now reappeared online and freely available all over ebay and aliexpress. Buyer beware, the ozzi one is identical to all those others and the standard of build is likely to be just as poor.

I would give them a zero star review if it were possible. They are con artists and thieves. Keep away. For example, they offer a $69 upsell when you buy their hearing aid, and then they try to steal $220 from your bank account instead of honouring the $69 upsell product. I could go on.

I ordered and paid for hearing aids and received them even though it took a while.
I have tried them but am not satisfied with the fit and the performance.
My national health ones are better.
I have had lots of contact with Ossi and have asked repeatedly how to return them for a refund as promised.
The now tell me that because I have used them I am not eligible.
How can this be?
I should be entitled to the full refund.

ordered these hearing aids 26/7/25 and i contacted ozzi within 30 mins of placing order i contacted ozzi and cancelled the order. I was told that it was too late as the order had already been shipped?
I continually contacted ozzi requesting my money back, but as yet no refund. This company is a scam so do not use them.

If I could give minus stars I would, they are a complete scam company, please read all the negative reviews before you buy these heaters as the heaters as well as the company are totally useless.
I thought I had ordered 2 heaters & received & paid for 8.
The packaging when it arrived was torn & ripped, all the boxes were crushed & broken, none of the boxes were security sealed as they were all open, two heaters were malfunctioning & my husband an ex fire fighter stated they were a potential fire hazard. I photographed & videoed the packaging & sent it immediately to customer support. They refused to accept responsibility & refused me a full refund!!
The company’s ‘ Iron clad returns policy’ is non existent, they refuse to refund the full amount only offering a %30 refund in total because they state I had opened the boxes, how on earth do you test the heaters to see if they work?? Many many emails were exchanged , but to no avail. I gave up in the end & ended up losing over £200 as my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer & my priority was him,
Now I discover out of nowhere they have been collecting a direct debit from my account for £29.99 a month for the past 7 months , of which I did not authorize.
I repeat please do not use this company as the emotional distress they cause trying to get a refund for damaged items & items they send you you did not order is overwhelming.

This will teach me to buy items advertised on Facebook. I bought a unit at the end of last winter in Aug 2024. As it arrived late August, I didn't have a need to use it at the time.

I plugged it in for the first time this month, and it is absolutely useless. I can hardly feel any heat being generated when next to it, let alone being able to heat an entire room.

I also paid an extra $12 for a remote - it could be a remote for anything as it certainly does not control the device.

Overall, the worst $100-odd that I have spent with apparently no way to get the money back.

If there was an option to give zero stars I would. Totally untrustworthy company and extremely unprofessional I would honestly never recommend them. My experience has been completely negative. I brought a product (plug in heater) for £49.95, took three weeks to arrive when it says 3-5 working days. When product arrives it was faulty and at my expense (£13.35) I had to return the product. And have been waiting over two months for the refund. And the communication of this company is completely unsatisfactory. As I have emailed them many times with no response or the inability to acknowledge that they still have not refunded me for a faulty product. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY as I am £63.30 out of pocket.

ABSOLUTE CON! DISGUSTING!
These people DO NOT care about their customers. They will try every trick in the book to avoid listening to an issue. ESPECIALLY when they are quite clearly TRICKING a potential customer into purchasing items they didn't order, then over=charging by HUNDREDS of Dollars.
That is what happened to me. I felt physically sick when I saw the total price, that showed up on my bank statement as 2 transactions. Trying to communicate with them to sort out a REFUND was infuriating.
The amount they charged me, left me with $30.00 in the bank. I'm on a pension but they couldn't have cared less. They will never know how that whole incident affected me.
AVOID THIS SCAM!

I ordered 3 believing the hype on thier face book advert. Was charged for 10, immediately contacted them to query and ask just 3 be charged and sent to me, refused even though was a matter of seconds, said already despatched. On receipt no returns details enclosed, contacted again as advert said 90 days no quibble return or refund, refusing to reply with a return address, offered me 30%, refund to keep them. Since reviewing company abd product and discovering they had failed fire safety checks I asked to return all 10nof them but still not received a reply from the comp3, have found a Chinese address to return them but will cost me as much as the items are to return to that address and no way of tracking the return. Opening dispute with pay pal and my bank as refusing to refund and goods not as described or fit for purpose. Under consumer act of 2015 they should offer full refund within 30 days, I am £254. 95 out of pocket with 10 dangerous useless heaters clogging up my cupboard. So do not order any products from ozzi heat or ozzi mozzie or any of the other names they go by, they also try to set up your card as automatic payment to take more money out of your account but luckily I was able to stop this however I did not authorise them to take 3 seperate payments which they did. Heaters are useless wouldn't keep you warm unless sat right on them and fall out of plus socket making them a fire hazard, in Australia they wrre recalled and all customers refunded, now somehow they are being sold illegally in this country.

A Total Scam
I was intrigued in the concept of this heater so decided to buy one. Their website is designed to commit you to buying more than you want to buy, by not allowing you to leave until you inadvertently commit to further units. When I made a complaint and pointed this out I was told I was too late. They had been already shipped. I was told there was nothing I could do. To return the units you have to send them to an address in China which makes the whole thing completely ridiculous. Avoid Ozziheat at all costs. Avoid the scam.
Furthermore Which magazine suggested these heaters may be unsafe so do your own research. Add to that they can be bought for a quarter of the price elsewhere online.

First, I was overcharged for extra units I did not order.
Second, the "return" policy requires that you send back to China ... which is very expensive shipping - more than the cost of the unit.
Third, these units are completely unrated - they have not been certified for use in USA or Canada.
I doubt they are safe to use
DO NOT BUY!! This is a rip-off com.pany.

Don't click on their feed on Facebook. Don't be taken in by their video, I made enquiries about 2 heaters and ended up with 5 , all of a sudden I had paid for them but had not confirmed the order!! I tried to cancel but they wouldn't accept it. The heaters are good but you can get them for half the price they are charging.

Total rip off ordered and immediately requested a cancellation and this has been rejected.

After much negotiation they advised as a gesture of good will rather than just cancel the item, o could receive it and keep it and they would refund 50%.

It finally arrived, amd I have to say is totally useless and does not do what it is advertised to do. There is absolutely no heat coming out of it.

After 14 days I have not received a refund as agreed and when I queried this is was told that they had internal issues with their accounting department but would follow up.

After another 4 days of constant emails , I am no closer to receiving the agreed refund.

Their products are useless their service is useless

Another internet scam!! If you've ordered from this company and not received anything yet, report it to the BBB. I ordered one unit only back in Oct. and was charged for 3 units, an extended warranty, expedited shipping (what a joke, considering that I haven't received anything yet) and a remote control, none of which I ever ordered!! TOTAL RIPOFF!!!!
