OVER £400 PAID FOR A FAULTY WATCH

My watch has been sent for repair after a fault with the strap and also having the back case of an automatic watch fitted to it even though it is not automatic.
They have allegedly sent me a new strap to replace myself which I haven’t received, again I have to do this myself and tracking says it’s still in transit.
They won’t give me any indication of a return date for the watch and simply shift all blame onto the manufacturer.
I have pointed out it’s them who I paid for the watch and not the manufacturer but they still pass any blame onto them
So at this point I have paid them over £400 for an incorrect watch that developed a fault and I don’t have anymore, or have any when or if I’ll ever see it again.
If the situation changes I’ll be fair and say so but I’m not holding my breath.

PLEASE DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID.

But I still have no watch.
Below I will show a copy of the text I received from p1 watches regarding the repair of the watch and replacement of the strap.

“Kyle has agreed to have the watch sent to the UK repair centre where the case back and the strap replaced.”

Word for word including the typing mistake.

You can make your own mind up but do you really want to risk spending a large amount of money on something that’s if it develops a fault (after there self imposed 14 day return policy) is this difficult to get rectified.
Oh and the owner keeps stressing the return policy and seems unable to grasp that yes I understand the policy for a watch that someone simply doesn’t like, but he can’t grasp that the watch is being returned because, 1 it’s not what I ordered and 2 it’s faulty.
I asked for a refund and they won’t, I asked for it to be replaced and no again they won’t and now it’s been returned and I’ve no idea what or even if it will be returned.
And don’t try emailing them because they don’t reply.
I like to buy watches from smaller company’s like P1 watches but it seems this company just want to take your money and run, with no regard for customer service.

Also in the reply why does it sound like they are doing me a favour (no quibble) ?
Dam right no quibble, the watch is faulty.
You had to send all the item’s mentioned because you acted like you’d never had to deal with a watch return before.
I didn’t ask for or need a travel case or packaging.
I’d of returned it in its original case and packed it myself, that’s something you decided you wanted to do.
I just requested a returns label.
But again as ever you said you’d do that and then decided it wasn’t that simple.

Watch received back it worse condition than sent away.
It’s been returned with the case back replaced but with no replacement strap. Also the original pins to replace the strap are now missing.
Apparently Kyle says that’s because the faulty strap was sent to the manufacturer for assessment?
How that was done is a mystery as I have the original faulty strap here myself ?
Oh yes and still no replacement strap sent from the manufacturer, even though the documentation Kyle sent with the watch asked for it to be replaced at the same time as case back at the repair centre.
Also now he’s started mentioning wear and tear and that I can’t just change my mind ?
Kyle, seriously I just want my watch fixed as agreed, but you try to wriggle out having any responsibility for doing this. You also go back on promises you have made in writing.
This I why I requested a refund, again you haven’t fixed the watch.

I WOULD ADVICE ANY ONE THINKING ABOUT DOING SO, PLEASE DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID AND PURCHASE A WATCH FROM P1 WATCHES

A replacement watch strap has been sent by the manufacturer coming from Switzerland with no quibble. The only issue with this watch is the case back which is being fully rectified under the terms of the warranty. We sent all postage costs, packaging and we even included a free travel case to make sure the watch travelled safely and for the customer to keep once returned.

A quality service with high standards of satisfaction.

I can’t thank Andy enough at P1 watches. This was my first purchase from the company and although I paid in advance, due to the current supply chain issues with just about everything, I was given the option of money back or wait. I decided to wait and it was by far the right decision. I was rewarded with a beautiful watch, and most importantly, it was packaged perfect and immaculate upon opening. Delivery was also a breeze, special recorded delivery with great communication regarding each stage of the order. I will definitely be ordering from P1 again.

P1 - definitely recommended

Just purchased a Signum watch from P1. It had to be shipped in, so there was a wait of a few weeks, but the overall experience of dealing with Andy was good and I’d have no hesitation recommending P1, particularly if you’re looking for something a bit different to what’s on offer elsewhere.

Excellent customer service on recent…

Excellent customer service on recent order.
Purchased a Barrington watch winder which promptly arrived but was supplied with the wrong cushion. My note to them was responded to on our Sunday and quickly rectified the following week.

Great company

I ordered the barrington watch winder safe, I couldn’t be happier with the service, delivery took a couple of days longer than expected as they decided to send me the newer model which isn’t actually due out until next month. Great communications, fantastic service , o would definitely recommend and will use again. I dealt with Andy who has been brilliant

Excellent customer service

Andy went above and beyond to ensure that we received our watch- even doing a multi hour round trip to deliver it in person when the supplier had issues beyond their control. Would highly recommend.

Excellent experience

P1 offers a range of interesting quality watches at reasonable prices from niche watchmakers. I bought a Muhle Terrasport watch (to replace an old Omega) and am very pleased with it. The purchasing process was straightforward and secure. Delivery and friendly service were exemplary. I will certainly recommend P1 to friends and family.

Fantastic service

I am exteemly happy with the service from Andy at P1 watches and would highly recommend him. I was looking for my first Sinn watch but was unsure on which one. Andy was very helpful in helping me make the right choice and managed to secure my 857 UTC very quickly for me. When it arrived, the hour hand was a little misalligned. Andy took this mistake by Sinn very seriously and actually collected my watch from me in person and arranged repair at the Sinn UK authorised service centre. Again this was very quick and professional. Andy seems to go the extra mile for his customers and ensures they are completely satisfied. I am extreemly happy with my new Sinn and highly recommend P1 watches. Will definitely use him again for future purchases.

Superb customer service.

Just want to take this opportunity to thank Andy at P1-Watches.

Order was delayed due to customs in Switzerland however I was given clear notice at every step of my transaction as to what was going on.

Cannot fault the service and will likely return soon to purchase.

A really interesting new Watch company

A really interesting new Watch company! I actually purchased a Barrington winder (P1 sell the entire range) and was pleasantly surprised when Andy, the owner, called me to arrange to deliver it directly! Very nice chap with real passion for the industry. P1 list lots of extremely interesting ‘niche’ brands. A really good find!
