From initial engagement to system sign-off, the P4 Solar team were professional, courteous and efficient. The solar/battery system was installed quickly, with minimal disruption and the lads were extremely neat and tidy (despite the variable weather). We did have a couple of minor issues (not P4 Solar's fault), but these were dealt with quickly and efficiently - hence the 5* review.

From the first meeting with Fred to the final install the whole process has been fantastic. We chose P4 for our installation as their advice and guidance was first class. The installation team were awesome and consulted with us all day about where and how they were going to install all of the equipment. There work is very neat and super tidy. I've already recommended P4 to friends who are considering solar/battery.

From the very beginning, P4 Solar offered a personable, small family-business feel, while still delivering a highly professional service. Communication throughout has been excellent—always prompt, clear, and helpful. They handled all the paperwork required and guided us through the entire process, making everything as straightforward as possible.
We experienced some delays at our end due to a house renovation and the many moving parts involved. None of these issues were P4 Solar's fault, yet they were incredibly flexible and worked around other trades on site to keep things moving.
What really stood out was the level of customer care. During a house rewire, our system went offline because we had no power. Fred noticed this and even contacted us while he was on holiday to make sure everything was okay. That level of service truly goes above and beyond.
At no point did we feel pressured to make a purchase after receiving the quote. Fred took the time to understand our needs and recommended the most suitable battery setup for us. Rather than trying to sell us additional equipment, he advised us to start with one battery and explained that a second could easily be added later if required.
We couldn't be happier with the service we've received and would highly recommend Fred and the team at P4 Solar to anyone considering solar installation. A genuine, trustworthy company that puts its customers first.

While the lads arrived a little late, it didn't matter as they got on with the job and completed it well within the expected time allocation despite the 32 degrees of heat!! They were all very friendly and pleasant, helpful and respectful. Everything was explained in detail afterwards and everything was cleaned up afterwards. No complaints at all. An almost enjoyable experience.

Excellent service from the quote to installation. Quick installation of solar and battery system up and running within a day. Sorted the app and talked me through it's use. Highly recommended.

Recently used this firm with regards to additional panels on my garage roof. I found them very helpful very thorough with there checks. I dealt with Peter and found him to be honest and his work was exceptional.

I'm disappointed to rate P4solar a 1 against their other reviews, but them saying "at P4 we are strictly a supply-and-installation company" pretty much sums it up, I wanted a battery install to best arbitrage electricity prices and was sold a Hanchu system despite enquiring about a different system. Turns out Hanchu really is behind the curve compared to their competitors, so my system is not fit for purpose. Sadly emails to p4Solar tech support 3 months after install go unanswered. Attempts to engage with Directors do not get results. Beware!

We recently had solar panels installed and couldn’t be happier with the service we received. The company and installers were brilliant from start to finish. Declan, Dylan, and Jackson were the roofers, and they were professional, friendly, and left everything clean and tidy when the job was done.

A special thank you to Fred, who has been amazing throughout the whole process. He is always available on the phone, happy to help, and willing to offer advice whenever needed.

I recently had a solar and battery system installed at my home by P4.
They were very professional, helpful and supportive throughout the entire process, from the initial visit to measure up, through the quotation stage, installation and after sales service, including the arrangement of all the necessary registration documentation I needed in order to become an energy exporter.
A1 service from an A1 company and very competitively.priced. Thank you P4, I can't praise you highly enough.

We are really very impressed with the excellent service we have received from P4 Solar. From proposal to quote to instalment and aftercare we have been kept well informed. The installers have been friendly and good at communicating with us, and they have worked hard and effectively. The system is up and running completed quickly and efficiently. We needed the roof refelting too and Solar were able to recommend a roofer who has done an excellent job. They too have kept us well informed about what is being done and when.
The instalment is a big undertaking I have been comfortable throughout that I could trust Solar 4 to do everything right.

I was impressed by both the project management and the on site installation team. The timescale from requesting a quotation to job completion was very good. All the staff were pleasant to deal with and kept me well informed during and after the installation.

Seamless process from start to finish with P4 Solar. Very professional, contact and updates provided of process throughout of the installation of an EV charger. Nothing was too much trouble and very efficient team from my initial enquiry to booking the installation of an EV charger through to completion. My installation was actually more of a modification to my existing solar PV and battery system which P4 Solar hadn't previously been involved in.
Although, if I understood correctly, it was not the sort of commission which P4 would undertake as a rule as they prefer to carry out complete supply and fix works I was treated as a valuable customer and everything from start to finish was carried out with courtesy and as promised.
I think it was less than a week from making the initial contact with them to having the initial survey carried out followed by the retrospective alterations to my systems a couple of weeks later.
Everyone turned up exactly as planned on the date and time previously agreed. The alterations were carried out very efficiently and the final handover was completed on the same day.
P4 kept me fully informed of appoinments with follow up reminders and confirmations by email, text and phone calls to ensure that I knew exactly what to expect and when.
Once the work was completed the follow up from P4 was superb checking that I was happy with everything and this was then followed up a few days later by all the relevant information about guarantees, completion certification and updates on my application to feed into the national grid.
I cannot praise the whole team enough for their conscientious approach to the job.
Considering that I had initially engaged another installer to look at the work and after 8 months nothing had happened the service from P4 was absolutely first rate. I think it was less than 8 weeks from initial contact to completion and I couldn't be happier with the service and quality of work that I received.

This comany are exceptional. I decided to have solar panels fitted and first dealt with Fred - an excellent leader of the team. The details about the panels being fitted etc. were exceptional and the price was excellent. I didn't go for another quote, I was already impressed. Yesterday the panels were fitted. All 4 members of the team involved in fitting the panels and the electrics were exceptional and extremely professional and friendly. I have also had two occasions to speak to the support staff at the office, who have also been exceptional. I have not come across a more organised, professional and exceptional company as P4Solar for a long time. Many companies that I deal with regularly could learn much from the way this company operates. Thank you to the company.
