Two stars rather than one because one out of four bags did actually work. Rest were no good and let the air in within 24 hours. Bought from Lakeland who I trusted to be selling good stuff. I notice they don't sell them anymore.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
I bought a pack of 5 small bags for an upcoming campervan trip for storing spare clothes where space is limited. I tried one bag with 3 small T-shirts. Virtually impossible to roll up. I tried with 12 pairs of knickers, totally impossible to roll up - main reason for buying these instead of vacuum bags was so that they could be reused without the need for a vacuum! I then tried with 3 pairs of knickers, just to see if they actually would work just with rolling. They did, however it made no difference in the volume of the bag and in fact the 3 pairs of knickers, which individually could be rolled up and stuffed in a tiny space, were now a more cumbersome item to find space for, and would anyone really go to the extreme of vacuum bagging 3 pairs of knickers! 😂
On deciding that these bags did not offer the solution to packing in a small van and as far as I'm concerned they have used false advertising, I immediately contacted them through their messaging service via the website. Total waste of time as I'm still waiting a reply (message sent 4 days ago). Last night I sent a further message through my email provider, demanding a response within 24 hours due to going away. Now having read these reviews I'll not hold my breath.
Also don't bother trying the phone number - "number unavailable"
Everything points to them being scammers 😡
Packmate advertising burble said that their vacuum storage bags were compatible with most cordless vacuum cleaners. I bought two jumbo bags and found they were not compatible with a Dyson or a 'Henry'... two of the most common cleaners in the country!
I have made several attempts to contact Packmate for advice by email and phone over the last few weeks, but no response.
I now realise I should have read the Trustpilot reviews for this 'company' before handing over any money.
Does the 'company' exist? I feel that have been scammed!
Bought these packmate storage bags but the first time I used one it didn’t stayed vacuumed down I’ve tried to contact the company with several emails but had no response from them I think this is very poor customer service on there behalf. I have since managed to contact the company by phone and the girl apologised at said they were having issues with email explained about the problem with the bag and a new replacement was sent out in the post
Lifetime guarantee is useless if no one replies to a number of emails. I bought them for moving house 2 failed 3 times. Got them from Lakeland so will return them there and hopefully will have more luck. By the looks of the reviews Lakeland shouldn't be stocking them
Packmate products are expensive, and when I received my parcel through the post one item was missing.
I have tried various contact forms and email addresses, and have left messages on their answerphone, but they don't respond. You're taking a risk if you place an order with this company.
The first time I used these storage solutions (1/6/2025) they didn't even stay deflated for no more than 5 minutes. I tried a couple of times with all of the same result. Waste of time buying them, so please don't spend your money on this company. As for the lifetime guarantee, I would rather the items worked for a little bit before contacting the company. I don't hold out much luck with reading other reviews on this company.
I have contacted them using every method possible over the past few weeks but no one replies and the 'phone number on the website just automatically cuts you off. The storage bags just don't work as described andy items are just as if ion any other normal bag. Don't waste your money.
Great product, but no customer support. They have a so called "lifetime" guarantee, which is pointless as they never respond to any emails. I had one of the bags break and I've emailed multiple different addresses and had no response
Avoid, not worth the money.
Bought Packmate bags because the box offers a "no quibble lifetime guarantee". The bags worked fine for a few years, then didn't. I've contacted Packmate 3 times to ask about their "no quibble lifetime guarantee" but not had a reply to any of them.
(The box also says if you register you'll get a free Packmate gift. I registered but haven't received a gift).
Ordered back in December but no order has arrived, tried contacting the company but no reply so given up.
