Unreliable

Unreliable. As a paddle (ex)customer, their customer support is terrible. They will arbitrarily and without warning stop payouts and even freeze the account until they have the time to review your site that it's a legitimate business. I mean sure go ahead, but maybe review it first and then freeze if it's not up to standard?? Not the other way around?

I’m very satisfied with Paddle’s support. I contacted them about an accidental charge and they resolved everything immediately. The refund was processed right away and my subscription was cancelled without any issues. The communication was fast, clear, and professional.
Highly recommended.

If you're a merchant, you'll be fine. Customer? Be careful.

If you are a merchant, you are probably golden. But if you are a customer buying software or a subscription...

Be careful. Buyer protection is not a thing with this vendor. Don't just take my word for it: search up 'Paddle.com Market, a UK-based payment processor, $5 million dollar fine FTC' and you will see exactly what I mean.

I purchased software via Paddle that was fundamentally defective. I provided them with a paper-trail of proof: ghosted support tickets, ignored refund requests, and evidence that I had never successfully used the product because it simply wasn't working.

When I brought this clear-cut case of 'Services Not Rendered' to Paddle, their support agents and bots summarily dismissed it, hiding behind an internal '30-day refund policy' and refusing to investigate the merchant's fraud.

If you are a buyer and something like this happens to you, know your rights:

Paddle's internal policies DO NOT override the UK Consumer Rights Act. As a regulated payment institution, they are legally required (under FCA DISP) to provide a final response to a dispute within 15 business days.

Paddle missed this legal deadline and ghosted me. Their bots don't work, and they definitely don't care.

I have already filed a formal case with the UK Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) and reported them to the proper regulatory authorities.

While I hope you don't have the kind of experience I did, if you do: stop arguing with their bots and go straight to your regulatory authorities and credit card firm.

SCAM - Caveat Emptor

SCAM. Told me I had cancelled my subscription... when I thought I only had ONE. It turns out they had signed me up for TWO, and it only cancelled the less expensive one.
