Sue and Pete looked after our fur babies as if they were part of their family.

We had a few hurdles to overcome when we got another puppy 9 months before the wedding and there was a risk she would be in season. There was no trouble at all for Sue and Pete to help us, of course they would take our new puppy and they worked out a plan with us in case she did come into season and she couldn't stay with them. I was so grateful for their help and support as I was so worried about what to do.

Both of our dogs could stay with Sue and Pete, we had our meet and greet at their home where the dogs got settled and welcomed with open arms.

The day of the wedding it was perfect to have Merlin and Morgana there, it just made everything that much more special to have our whole family there. I can't thank Sue and Pete enough for making it possible. The dogs had the best time with Sue and Pete, and I got regular updates of how they were getting on and even some behind the scenes photos of the dogs on the wedding day.

Couldn’t have asked for better! We felt so comfortable leaving the dogs in the care of Sue and Pete, knowing they would be looked after and treated as their own. Everything was absolutely perfect and we don’t have the easiest dogs in the world…Everyone was very impressed, they were being called the dog whisperers! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They are AMAZING!!

Sue & Pete are truly incredible people. They love dogs with their whole hearts and that much was obvious from our first zoom call with them, to the first meeting with our dogs and to drop off on the day before the wedding. The love they showed our babies was second to none. They took Bella and Milo in like they were their own and I had photos sent to me beginning just 20 minutes after we dropped them off right up until the morning of collection. We knew our babies were safe, loved and cared for the whole time. She brought the dogs to our wedding for photos and she kept them entertained and busy the whole time to ensure they didn’t get bored or start acting up (we were shocked that they were even our dogs.. there’s usually no calming them down!). Sue took her time and patience with them to settle them down when they started barking. They were so well looked after and cared for. We even found out Pete slept on the sofa with our dogs on the last night! Phenomenal service, we’re now looking at getting Bella and Milo into doggy day care with them as soon as life returns to pre-wedding normality!

We came across APad4Paws dog chaperoning on instagram whilst looking for someone to look after our anxious dog Douglas for our wedding. We knew Sue and Pete would be the perfect match after reading they had looked after anxious dogs in the past. Sue was absolutely BRILLIANT on the day! Our boy is very nervous and shy’s away from people he has not met but leading up to the wedding we had a few zoom calls and on the day he was not nervous around her at all! She came with treats to hand, walked him around the grounds so they got used to each other and was there for every photo moment and he even managed to be our ring bearer on the day with her keeping a close eye in case he needed any help. (We were not sure if he would be able to do this)
We are so grateful to have come across APad4Paws and highly recommend them to anyone. Our dog Douglas has found a new friend in Sue and we will always remember how smoothly our big day went thanks to her.

Ever since we got engaged, we were so keen for our Labrador, Barney, to be involved in our Wedding, but we weren’t sure how this would work. We booked our Venue and noticed that they recommended aPad4Paws as a Dog Chaperoning Service; all of a sudden, Barney attending our Wedding became entirely possible!
From the first point of communication, Sue & Pete have been extremely friendly, helpful and understanding. They were able to offer a number of options as to how Barney could be involved in the Wedding and their Service is truly bespoke; everything was tailored to us, with Barney being the main focus. After our initial Zoom Meeting, Barney attended Day Care as a Trial and this went well, Sue & Pete kept up updated with how Barney was settling in and it was so reassuring to hear from them! After this, Sue & Pete kept in touch and we had another Zoom Meeting just before our Wedding to iron out the final details.
We dropped Barney off the day before the Wedding and, again, we received lots of photos and videos to reassure us that he was settling in well. On the day of the Wedding, Sue brought Barney along and we cannot thank her enough for her hard work and professionalism. She made sure that Barney was calm and relaxed at the Venue and nothing was too much trouble for her! Not only did she make sure that Barney was around for all of the photo opportunities, she also snapped lots of photos of us all together and even photos and videos of the Wedding from Barney’s perspective!!! Afterwards, Sue took Barney back to theirs and he stayed for another two nights; this included lots of nice naps on the sofa, play time with the other dogs and some good sniffy walks!
Again, we cannot thank Sue & Pete enough for caring for Barney like he was one of their own dogs and for allowing us to have him with us on our special day; it honestly would not have been possible without them!

Sue and Pete were wonderful with our young dog and took very good care of her and kept us in touch all evening to reassure us that she was settled and doing well. Fantastic service and lovely people.

Sue and Pete were fantastic. Made sure we had some really beautiful pictures with pooch and they kept hold of him all day making sure he wasn't running ragged looking for us! It's so special to have your fury friends there and Sue and Pete make that possible and stress free! I would totally recommend them. They will stay for as long or as little as you want. Could not praise Sue highly enough. She was an intrinsic part of making our day so special!! Our dogs were not just looked after, they were treated like family; treats, so many walks, exercises and rest time with cuddles.

The girls were never too far away for pictures and we were sent a doggy diary of pictures and updates throughout the day. Everyone complimented me on how good the doggy chaperones were and I agree!

Sue was the pinnacle of professionalism from start to finish. Her communication with us from initial booking through until the day was exemplary. She is so friendly and kind and an absolute credit to the industry.

Her price was incredibly reasonable too. I could not recommend her more and I'm so grateful we found her!

We feel very lucky to have secured this service for our wedding day. Sue and Pete are like the family you never knew you had! They were very welcoming, helpful, genuine and helped us to complete a 'pre-visit' so our pup could get used to them before the big day.

We used their overnight service to keep our pup for the night of the wedding, we were sent little updates of how he was doing while he was there and away from us, which was super reassuring.

Always professional throughout; both Sue and Pete are genuinely invested in making sure they do everything to keep your pup safe and loved whilst in their care.

Sue went above and beyond, the footage she obtained from our day was very special. It felt as though we got to see how our wedding was from our dogs perspective! Amazing!

We used Sue and Pete’s services to look after our Springer Spaniel “Spencer” for a few days around our wedding.
From the initial emails which then Led onto a zoom call we could tell that Sue and Pete were the ones we were choosing.
They are what everyone is looking for when it comes to leaving our pets.
We felt relaxed and confident in knowing that Spencer was in great hands.
Nothing was too big an ask for them and the updates of how Spencer was getting on was just lovely.

Can’t be more thankful that aPad4Paws exists! We’re very particular about our family dog and she’d never stayed a night away from us but Sue and Pete made us feel so at ease about leaving Daisy with them and kept us updated with lots of photos and messages during our wedding day. They were able to look after our golden retriever all through the wedding ceremony and stayed afterwards for some photos. I would definitely recommend them in a heartbeat❤️

Was great to have our dog with us on our wedding day. She was picked up and dropped back to the kennel. Arrived in very good time and was looked after in the church. Really good price for the service that was given.

Worth every penny! Sue was so lovely on our wedding, we had a zoom call, texts, emails to talk about the day and what our Pug liked and didn’t like. I had so many comments after the wedding on how lovely Sue was and how good she was with Gordon. She took loads of pictures and videos throughout the day so we knew what he was up to, so good in fact we used it as our thank you card. If your pug owner and worried about leaving them with someone I can not recommend Sue and Pete enough, they definitely knew what they were doing with such a high maintenance breed!

Sue and Pete were absolutely amazing with our long-haired miniature dachshund on our wedding weekend and helped to make it so perfect. They offered the best service throughout the entire weekend, giving us the opportunity to have Nala with us on the afternoon before our wedding day (pre-collection), bringing her to the venue in the morning, and also to the church ceremony and venue for photos.

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, they set up a number of calls to help understand Nala's routine and specific requests we had for the weekend itself. They arranged to collect her on the Friday evening to help her get used to the environment. On the morning of the wedding, Sue and Pete brought Nala for photos and then took her to the church to help her feel comfortable for photos, before taking her back for the drinks reception for more photos. As it was a warm day, they came so prepared with cool mats, water, and treats to let Nala feel comfortable throughout the day. They then took Nala back to their house for the evening before dropping her back at the venue on Sunday morning.

They were absolutely amazing throughout the entire weekend and helped to make it the perfect wedding weekend for us! We couldn't recommend them more and they helped to send videos and updates throughout her stay.

Sue and Pete took care of our 2 dogs on our wedding day/overnight. They are both the kindest , friendliest people you will meet. Their compassion and love for dogs definitely shows. My dogs loved being in the company of them.

Sue and Pete looked after our little dog Dexter, with Pete picking him up on the morning of the wedding, chaperoning him through the ceremony and photos, and then taking him back to their home for a sleepover until we were able to pick him up.

Pete took Dexter over to the venue in the morning to get him used to the space and to hunt out some shady spots as it was a warm day. They were fantastic at communication and as we lived far away we had two zoom calls to get to know them and for us to tell them about the wedding and Dexter. We received lots of photos and videos from the wedding day, as well as from his stay at their home which was lovely.

It was so amazing to be able to have Dexter there on our wedding day, but also to have the peace of mind that he was being well looked after. We would thoroughly recommend Sue and Pete. 🐶

I cannot recommend this family run business enough! From the moment we first enquired about their wedding dog chaperoning service I was blown away by their genuine love and empathy for the dogs welfare whilst in their care. They explained everything in great detail from start to finish and they even arranged a meet and greet too, so all the dogs could meet up and mix with one another - at their home. They welcomed our dogs in as if they were already a member of their family, allowing them to snuggle up on the sofa etc.

Our dogs are our children and to be able to have them play such a big part in our special day, (without all the stress!) meant more to us than anything! All thanks to Pete & Sue for letting our dreams come true. The day went so well, Sue was always in the background but close enough if you needed to pull the dogs in at any time. Sue provided water and treats and they were so well looked after.

I didn’t worry about our dogs once during their stay with Sue & Pete as I was getting constant updates with videos and pictures, which really put my mind at ease which is particularly important on your wedding day!

Our dog Angus has been going with Sue and Pete since he was a puppy and he loves it there. Gets to play with his mates and be spoilt rotten. He barely even looks back when he gets picked up. Sue and Pete are fantastic offering advice if needed and always keep us updated on everything going on with our Angus. Including photos and videos from his walks. Can't thank them enough for looking after our handsome chap.
