Excellent paint stockists!
Have used Palatine for 2 jobs now, painting a Dutch barn roof and a more recently a screed floor.
Both paints have done a very good job at a great price and fast delivery times.
Always head to these guys first now whenever I need paint as they seem to stock almost every kind of paint!

Great Varnish - Poor Colour Charts
If I was just rating the Varnish, I would give it 5 stars. However, I've deducted 2 stars because their colour charts are so poor. I ended up having to spend twice as much money buying two different colours to get the colour that was a match to other woodwork in the house because the colour charts are a very poor representation of what the actual colour looks like. In my opinion Palatine have done a bit of a 'cop out' with this statement on their website.
''Please note: The colours on the product listings are only given as a guide. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours. In addition, everyone sees these colours differently.''
With the quality of digital colour now, it would be easy for Palatine to have quality photos of the different colours on their website. They should really make more of an effort to give their customers quality guidance on which colour to choose.

Wow, what a delivery service and what a great product. I was having to paint my fences every year but with Palatines shed and fence paint I won’t now. Brilliant coverage, recommended it to friends and they’ve done their fences too.

Don't trust items shown as 'IN STOCK'!!!!
I ordered a tin of paint that was indicated as being IN STOCK. However, after placing the order I was told it was NOT IN STOCK and had to wait a few weeks. After the elapsed time and more - I had to ring up a couple of times to check what was happening. Finally I was told it was on its way and received it the next day. Thanks the paint is great!!!
It's misleading to show items IN STOCK when they aren't. It destroys trust and may also indicates that the underlying stock control is kaput. I don't mind waiting -just be more transparent and honest about stock levels.

Does exactly what it says on the tin!
Was running out of money, as I'd spent a fortune on re-decorating and carpets, and needed a new surface on the wooden toilet and kitchen floors, so searched for a particularly hard wearing paint for the job. A 5 Litre tin of Palatine's hard wearing wood paint was perfect. Cheaper than tiles, lino or whatever and easier to apply, though keep your place well ventilated when putting it on, and for 48 hours afterwards. 2 coats were enough and the surface is neat, tough and easy to clean. Despatched immediately by Palatine, and securely packaged. 6 months later I'm very happy with the result. Highly recommended.
