Hired a transit for a day. Van was spotless and new. Seem less process from start to finish. Staff go above and beyond. Well worthy of 5 stars and definitely recommended and would use again. K. Chelmsford.

The best place to rent a car if you’re around Stansted Airport. There are no hidden costs, the staff are very friendly, and they genuinely try to help as much as possible. The only thing to note is that you’ll need to book in advance, as they are usually very busy.

My Cars Driveshaft broke recently so had to hire a car for a few weeks whilst repairs were carried out. I chose Palmer & Martin as local to me. It was the best move I could have made. The service was friendly, helpful, efficient and professional. Therefore no hesitation in recommending hiring from Ben at Little Canfield.

I needed a hire car because mine was recovered following a breakdown. Ben at Canfield was friendly, practical, knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service providing me with a suitable car very quickly for a great price. This is why people should do business with people and not on nameless, faceless websites.

Due to moving, we needed a van for a day. The administration was very quick and kind, and on the day of the rental, we received a clean, excellent 1-year-old van. They handled all our requests flexibly. During the pickup and drop-off of the van, we received professional documentation. We were completely satisfied with everything. The rental fee was completely reasonable and competitive. Thank you!

As well as being van hire experts, these guys rent out a very nice range of cars. Just returned a lovely A4 to them after a long weekend trip with no issues at all. Never had any bother with them, prices are good, and the cars are immaculate! Friendly and helpful service, really can't fault them.

This is the only hire company I've used that are honest and upfront with costs etc. The staff are helpful both on the phone and in person. From the initial application to returning the van it was hassle free...
