Getting sent BBE frappe mix!

Edit - to update and include what was sent to me after this review was made, i received further communication,

this is a quote from the email that i feel is important to include as it just shows how the customer service is.

"We are 100% in our rights to not refund the shipping. And this documented in our T&C's.
If we had made a mistake, then it would a different story, but this is not the case

As for being treated or spoken to as if we were thieves, after 20 years in business, then I am afraid this is your judgement.
But to leave a negative review is simply unecessary, not to say inaccurate, since:

A) you bought the goods as advertised
B) we responded to you accurately and in a timely manner, and offered you some advice/info on the goods
C) We are not discussing your rights for a refund of the goods.

But all of this is is extremely futile: these items are still perfectly good to use. And as explained to you this morning, we would rather sell them at cost than put them in the bin. It is as simple as that.
Though, looking at this petty argument with you for the sake of £7 (£7!), I truly wonder what is best!"

It should be noted that not once did i imply they were thieves but it is pretty clear that a "petty argument for the sake of £7" shows how they choose to speak with customers is just wrong.

Original review before update as follows,
I decided to order some frappe mix from here. When i ordered i DO NOT remember seeing any information on the site regarding the items being PAST there best before date. I tried to contact them via email to arrange to return the items at my expense for a full refund as per my right under the consumer rights act 2015.

This is where everything went wrong! Pancake world would only offer me a partial refund where consumer rights act is clear its a FULL refund.

A few emails later i decided to call them, i was met with rudeness and the chap i spoke with was insistent that i was wrong and that they have T&C's which apply...again though not above the law pancake world!

After the call the chap then decided to call me back not once but twice to harass me and continue to tell me i was wrong!

I am a long time frappe buyer and thought i had found myself the perfect place but the customer service at this place is so shocking i would NEVER return or recommend anyone uses them.
