My wife and I asked Paprika Tours to construct a 20 day tour of Peru and Bolivia based on our initial wish list of places to visit - together with transport and hotel preferences. Every step of the itinerary optimization with the travel manager from Paprika (Simon) was a very smooth process and we felt that he really listened and understood our particulier desires - he didn't try to fit our desires into a pre-programmed trip like several other agencies we looked at before settling on Paprika. The trip was truly personalized for us.

The sequence of visits was expertly constructed for both Peru and Bolivia. Our desire was to avoid internal flights where possible in favour of public buses for longer trips (avoids airport delays) and private cars for local visits plus reasonable hotels (hotels 2* & 3*, because better than that is mostly pointless when you stay one night!). We particularly appreciated the itinerary organization with respect to acclimatization to altitude (many of the the places visited were around 3500 M altitude). In Peru, our trip included (in order), Lima, Paracas/Islas Balistas, Ica, Nazca, Arequipa, the AltiPlano and Colca, Lake Titicaca, Cusco and Machu Picchu plus, a four day excursion to Bolivia from Puno for a visit to La Paz and the salt flats at Uyuni. The Bolivian part of the trip was managed by Andrés, the local Paprika travel manager.

The entire Peru and Bolivia trip was full of absolutely fabulous experiences and incredible adventures - and, with a couple of minor exceptions, it all ran very smoothly. I can honestly say that we were very satisfied - thank you Simon and Andrés!

Finally, a grand thank you to our very professional guides, Ursula, Carol Travel Adventure, Marco, Juan-Carlos, Silverio, Victor, Valeria, Sweet Tours, Ruth and Alexander (we particularly appreciated Alexander).

We did the 4 days Inca trail. I wasn't used to sleep in tent but Orlando (our guide) and his team of cook and porters help us a lot. We felt privilege to have such a dedicated team around us and we need to highlight that food was really good. Will recommend this tour without any hesitation.

This is our second time using Paprika tours. Apart from a hotel problem at the end of our last tour (south of Peru) all went well the last time. This time second time with Paprika was different. No Paprika hats awaited us. No water in the driver’s car during the whole two weeks. The quality of in-car guides was, apart from Mariella in Trujillo, poor. They really did not know their history or archeology! Mariella did know history and when not she said she would find out. The hotel arrangements were basically what we expected except for Pascamaya which was well below standard but it was we who asked to stop in Pascamayo to minimize travel times. The drivers, apart from water in the car, were all excellent.

Paprika tours was great, worked with us to make our tour of Peru wonderful, the drivers were all either on time or a little early but never rushed us. The guides were an amazing source of information and very polite and helpful. I also had the misfortune of having altitude sickness and when the doctor arrived at the hotel one of the guides came with him to translate then later the guide went and picked up my medication, he went above and beyond his guiding job. Laura Saile was also available to us via Whatsup, so we could message anytime we had question. I would definitely recommend Paprika tours and we will use them when booking our next tour.

They put together a fantastic tour! The guides were excellent! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone! Laura was so easy to deal with in getting everything that we wanted to do in one tour! She had every little detail worked out and we did not have to worry about anything!

I have given Paprika 5 stars because we have left Peru (regrettably) with a whole lot of information and respect for the country and its people. This is down to the Paprika organisation and our co-ordinator Andrea. She has been absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She has responded to our queries promptly and made many adjustments patiently and always in a polite, friendly way. Thank you Andrea- you are s great asset to the company. In Carla and Omar we found 2 gems who delighted in telling us all about the country and it’s history. They made the journey so much fun and the time passed so quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending Paprika to anybody who wants to get to know Peru

Our group of 6 friends has just completed a 3 week tour organised by Andrea of Paprika Tours in Peru and we all agreed that we could not fault it! Everything went to plan, we enjoyed the itinerary very much, our English speaking guides were all confident, competent and caring, the hotels were of very good quality and the transportation and drivers were also excellent. The service provided by Paprika went beyond our expectations! We have no reservations in thoroughly recommending this company to anyone travelling in these countries.

Peru was magnificent. There are so many amazing sights and so much diversity of landscapes and people. A plus was the food was excellent. The excellent services of Paprika ensured we could enjoy our trip to the full. Before we left they were very helpful as we settled on our four week itinirary, and gave us suggestions and a new costing for each tweak we made. Once in Peru, all the arrangements worked perfectly. The drivers were competent and friendly; the guides were knowledgeable, enthusiastic and had good English; the hotels were of a high standard; the public coaches were very comfortable; all the trips, tours and homestay were excellent. Furthermore Paprika are keenly priced. I would recommend Peru and Paprika unreservedly. Thank you for the most memorable trip of a lifetime.

We were very happy with our trip to Peru through Paprika Tours. Everything went very well from the drivers to our extremely knowledgeable guides, Valerie and Lourdes. Our tour organizer, Andrea Gomez, was always available to answer any questions we had. I could expect an return email within an hour or often a phone call from Andrea. We had a wonderful trip to Peru.
