Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 762 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. People frequently complain that the streaming app constantly freezes, crashes, and experiences severe buffering issues during playback. Customers also find it extremely frustrating that the interface is difficult to navigate, and the service fails to remember where they left off in a show. The minority of people were satisfied with the content selection, mentioning that they truly enjoy the available show lineup. Some reviewers also shared that they were able to watch videos on their devices without encountering any annoying playback issues or glitches. However, the vast majority of consumers remain deeply disappointed by these persistent technical flaws.

Not intuitive. Trash Streaming Site.

I can't express enough how irritating Paramount+ is. I had it for a long time just because I am a Star Trek fan and then I finally canceled it late last year. Well recently I subscribed to a Star Trek 1st time watch Patreon. I love it. I love experiencing their reactions. However this requires me to watch Paramount Plus Star Trek at the same time I watch Patreon. I have to manually sink them together.

The problem is of all streaming services, Paramount is just trash. I have to regularly pause it to sink up. However every time you pause Paramount it takes you to an AD hovering over the paused program. So now to unpause it to try and time them right I have to hit the start button twice. Once to get it off the AD and once to start the program. However on Patreon I can just hit the arrow anywhere on the screen. On Paramount+, because it is trash, I have to make sure I am hitting the arrow on the far left side of my laptop. If I fail to do that I go into the AD that is staring at me and now I am out of sink with Patreon. So the reality is watching a Patreon rewatch & Paramount + at the same time is impossible because Paramount is intent on getting me to click on ADs rather than content.

I get this is an obscure problem . . . but doing the rewatch together is literally the only reason I have Paramount+. Just a manipulative trash streaming site.

No cancel options

Haven’t been using this app and I thought I have cancelled it before. I remembered about my subscription because they are still taking money and when I went to their app on Samsung tv there’s no option to cancel it.

The skip option has recently…

The skip option has recently disappeared from the end credits (at least on the Star Trek show I am currently watching), making it difficult to start the next episode. This means I have to manually "fast forward" to the end of the credits or back out of the show to the main selection screen to can select the next episode by hand.

For the latter I have to remember the name and number of the episode I want to watch next, but sometimes it actually selects the wrong one and restarts the one I just watched anyway. Sometimes the season or episode I want even disappears from my choices as well.

Since I watch during my workouts, it means I rarely leave off or start up at the beginning and watch all the way to the end of one without starting a new one after. The old skip the end credits feature worked much better.

Terrible control interface

Some good content, but whilst I haven’t experienced the buffering issues others mention, I do find it the most difficult platform to control. Even simple operations (like pause) that work smoothly on every other platform I’ve tried are a nightmare. As soon as I finish the series I’m leaving, it’s just too frustrating for me.

I hate paramount

The streaming platform is not supported in Belgium, and they won't release the last Airbender film in theaters. I'm so mad.

Perpetual Buffering!

Constantly buffering and always towards the end of a 150+ second commercial break, so that when you reload it starts that break all over again. As many as 4 goddamn times! I'm paying more for commercials than actual programing. How does a billion dollar company not solve such a basic streaming issue?

This is by far the worst channel…

This is by far the worst channel throughout my Entire Life at the age of being 57. Watching Zuffa boxing, the audio is 12 seconds faster than the video. Being a computer geek for over 40 years, whenever the audio/video is out of sync, it is ALWAYS the video is ahead because light is faster than sound just like lightning and thunder. How in the world could they mess up that bad?!? You can't even stop it and restart it without it going back to the beginning. Yes, they truly SUCK!!!

Bad UI design

I’ve been watching survivor with my partners for years, and one of the worst parts of watching anything on paramount is that every time you finish one episode and you turn of the tv.
When you turn the tv back and put it back where you left behind, paramount brings you to the previous episode, and if you try to skip forward to the next episode, paramount brings adds, once the adds are over it brings you right back to the previous episode.
The only option left behind is scroll thought all 45 seasons one by one till I get into the season 46.
Imagine doing this every single time, so annoying!!!

Great shows, poor streaming quality

A great selection of shows but THE WORST streaming quality I have seen in the last 10 years maybe more. 720p at best. I'm in the UK and had a years subscription gifted to me with my 3 Mobile phone contract, used it a handful of times but got angry every time because of how poor the quality was.

I hate paramount with every fiber of my being

It doesn't matter how many things, how many IPs you try to take and only put on your platform. First it started with the office and parks and rec. Then documentary interviews with famous true crime-esk people like Natalia Grace and Gypsy Rose. Now it's the Avatar movie. Hey- guess what paramount? I will N E V E R get paramount plus. I see the desperate plays you trying to make and I won't fall for it. Put the avatar movie in theaters so you'll actually get some gain on it. The fans want it.
