Were helpful but not anymore

Always helpful and, although the items ordered are sometimes slow in coming, due, in part, to suppliers I believe, they are very good and well-priced. I have amended this review from 5 to 1 stars. I have waited patiently for 3 months for 1 piece of equipment. All this company does is bring out new stuff and open other outlets. They should concentrate on the customers they have first. When I asked for a refund I was told it was company policy to give voucher. Told them I didn't want anything else but I was given the voucher option or continue to wait. Disgusting service

If I could give no stars I would...

If I could give no stars I would..
I ordered ir night vision camera and holder with light (paying extra for next day delivery). Called 3 working days later to be told they cannot find my order number and that they will call or email back. What a surprise... no call or email nothing.
I’ve never dealt with such a shambolic company before EVER. AVOID at all costs!!

Brought a gold bundle, beginning of last week, arrived this morning absolutely fantastic customer service, Beth kept me updated for the whole process from start to finish, will definitely order again for new products that I don’t yet have

Don’t bother with this company

My partner placed an order on the 1st December 2020 and the item has not been received or have I received a full refund it’s now been 7 weeks. Excuse after Excuse . I have now involved the police . Trading standards are aware of this seller.

Lies, lies and more lies

Ordered products from Paranormal Electronics ltd in September with a build time of 15 days still not received until 24th December via Courier (over 4 months). Product arrived faulty and of poor quality not as advertised. Returned product physically to company’s head office told we would receive a refund as they agreed the product was faulty. Now the company have retracted the refund, because we have left a negative review, stating product was not faulty. Company refuses to talk to us and told staff not to speak to us either. We have proof recorded in a phone call from the company about all above and that they agreed the product was faulty and that we would receive a refund. Looking at other reviews we are not the only ones giving negative feedback from customers. So now I have no product and no money.
Last review was deleted obviously they didn’t want people knowing the truth.

Placed an order 25th Oct

Placed an order 25th Oct. Received an email saying my order was part dispatched on 2nd Nov. Received on 17th Nov. When I received this delivery I was missing an SLS with Tablet and a Paraportal. Emailed for an update and received a reply to say they were being built and will be with me soon.

Received SLS and tablet on 26th Nov. Tablet faulty and had no software on to work with the SLS. Tablets are second hand or refurbished. Its in the T&Cs ill give them that but is disappointing if you don't read the small print. Emailed for update on the Paraportal on 26th Nov. Had a reply with it will be sent out shortly. Returned the tablet at my own expense. Never had a new one sent back that works and with software.

Still no working SLS or delivery of the Paraportal. Received a mass email to other customers that should have been BCCd but were in fact CCd. Promised we would receive everything by Christmas. As of today, 13th Jan still nothing which is ok as I emailed to cancel further deliveries but received zero response but they are happy to keep my money. Many promises of delivery and promises not kept. The mass email that went out sharing other customers email addresses opened a can of worms. We (approx 50 people) were emailing our experiences to each other on the email chain and almost all had not received the items ordered and had failed promise after failed promise. Some from back in August. Owners responded saying will receive by Xmas and deliveries can happen until Dec 24th. Now having to get a chargeback through my bank for these items. Others are doing the same and some taking it even further in their words. Lots of excuses from this company and also very rude somewhat smug replies to some people as they shared screenshots. We've changed Courier, COVID, Lockdowns, Missing parts are some excuses. If communicated properly people would understand and would be ok. I received my SLS ordered in Oct before someone who ordered in August as communicated on the email chain. After claiming a back log of work and working extra hours to fulfil orders they still continue to take orders for the items I've not received. It also said Paraportals take 15 days. Its now changed to say “pre order for after covid-19”. They’ve never told me this?? Frustrations with some of the 50 customers is extremely high from reading their comments. Comments are deleted from social media chasing orders so people cannot see. People posting comments are taking screenshots and sharing once deleted to prove this is getting done by the owners. Please bear in mind when ordering that people from August have not received items. I'd strongly recommend spending your valuable hard earned cash elsewhere. I doubt these will be around much longer.

This company has repeatedly ignored my…

This company has repeatedly ignored my messages over concerns of a damaged product cause by their lack of attention when packing. they even labeled it fragile. It had no protection around a fragile item. It has a rattle within and will not power on according to the tablet. They have one of the worst customer services I have ever dealt with. If you want an expensive paper weight go ahead and order from this company.

No more business with Paranormal Electronic!!

Well, i have waiting 4 months for my paraportal, and i had a full understanding for the pandemic and late delivery. I mailed them 2 days ago and cancelled my order and i want my refund. So Paranormal Electronics:: If you read this, give me my money back pronto. Many many customers are frustrated and angry on this company, and i understand now that your company have zero trust. So refund me emedetly!!!

Where to start

Where to start, purchased the sls mapping system with iPad, sent back, was told all items where fully charged, items arrived not fully charged, there ipads are refurbished not new, the 2nd iPad I got charged fully eventually, but not used as I'm still waiting for charger for sls box!!!
I've had alot of emails and calls and achieved nothing, to cut along story short I've never used the sls mapping equipment and never received instructions for use, I've know asked for a full refund Mmmm say no more more excuses, I've been very patient up to now and actually driving up there today I've read all of the reviews and it seems that alot of people have the Same problem, oooh and after checking the iPad after no use what's so ever and had been turned off, I checked it and it had drained to 27%, so I fully charged my tablet turned it back on after 5 days surprise surprise 100% on battery, thus company is very misleading and taking advantage of decent people for the interest we all have in the paranormal.
I also ordered the the cam holder with light on after speaking to them they said the light would view upto 80ft in the dark, hahahahaha I don't think so I couldn't even see a bush one pace away, I have a wildlife cam which in the woods clearly sees all the trees paths upto at least 60ft, I even told them that and was looking for the Same, seems to me they tell you what they want you to hear!!!!
Paranormal electronics I want a refund as I've asked now for over a week in emails and calls and I will go to direct gov and make a complaint against your company under the consumer credit act and you being a Ltd company!!!!

You confirmed today that the SLS is fully working, you reported a problem before and sent it back but we found it was more of a user error.

You also confirmed the tablet fully charged, after a chat with yourself we had discussed that you had been using the tablet on full screen brightness and had everything that could be on switch on on the tablet...... No shock that it would drain quickly.

The IR lights we produce have been tested upto and including 15m but as explained it was still extremely efficient at that distance so I would not be surprised if it would go to a greater distance, sorry if you misunderstood but I did choose my words very carefully on that.

For anyone else reading any negative reviews please bare in mind that we have produced a very efficient product and like any product it does take a small amount of user interaction to work correctly, We have instructional videos on YouTube to help you with this .

Bad service

I had a partial refund then had to send the sls back to be repaired sent back again still not working plus its damaged and they said they would refund but no reply for 5 days now plus still not recieved the clothes items that have been personalised. Not happy paypal have told me to bring in the fraud police team to get back my refund.

First we would like apologise for no reply over the last few days but of you had of read our social media post you would of seen that the owners (who you were communicating with directly) have had a family emergency involving one of their elderly parents so they have been unable to reply.

When you SLS Kinect mapping camera left us it was fully functional without fault, we indeed agreed to have it back and fix any potential problems. We found no actual 'fault' and gave the unit a good charge which then after testing with 5 different tablets including the one you sent back with youra to confirm the functionality each one worked straight away, we had 3 independent members of staff from 3 different departments test with your tablet and your unit and once again showed no signs of any faults.

Our last communication with yourself was that as we believe there is no fault you would have to return the item to us in order to issue the refund as per our T&C's

Takes so many days to get answer for…

Takes so many days to get answer for questions.
Build by order should be done under 15days, says website. However takes over 60 days. When you ask about your order its going to be ready soon, but its not even started building phase.

Just spend your money somewhere else who knows what is customer service.

Ovilus 👏🏼👏🏼

just got the Ovilus this week it is absolutely amazing only used it this morning and it is so good, was definitely worth the wait!
Amazing product very well made
The customer service was great always kept updated with the progress
Will be using this more often along with my other products

Absolutely amazing

Absolutely amazing, was very apprehensive when I saw the prices but definitely my one stop stop for all my equipment. Amazing customer service as nothing was to much trouble and answered all my questions.

Good and bad

I bought a quite a few items some where good and some bad action cam don't work even with ir lights so I use it only in day now the ir light connected to the stand only 3 of 4 lights worked but they did replace it voice recorder was damaged and scratched and was poor quality they replaced that sls camera was good until recently the pad never charged by its proper charging point so they sent me this Chinese small pin charger which started smoking in the socket lucky I was there as I have a child in the house too still waiting for them to contact me back for this. Really dissapointed I ordered 2 trolleys 1 came back broke they refunded me in a voucher which I had to spend that with them they contacted me back quickly on first items now they are slow on contacting me back about the sls charger which started smoking and leaking stuff out the side of the plug had to remove it from property quickly before it caught fire

I am very happy with the sls camera.
It works brilliantly. And I just purchased the coffin ⚰️ motion sensor it works great. Which is loud I can hear it up stairs. Nothing is to much trouble for John and his team. All ways there to help
