Quick and easy to use, although I made these bookings late in the day, the system was able to identify a sequence without significant time gaps thereby reducing wasted time

I don’t often leave reviews but this…

I don’t often leave reviews but this was such a great system by comparison to another system I’ve had to use, that I felt compelled to leave a review today.

Simple, well thought out user experience and being able to give the booking of all the appointments to the system was way less stressful.

Terrible system - helpful staff

Terrible system. Unable to book 2 appointments one after the other for twins with same teacher. ‘Not enough time to see both teachers’ apparently. Even though 10mins was left between booking slots. Useless system. (This was for Onthank Primary).
Thank you for your help, however it is a difference of 10mins. The main issue was the fact the error kept meaning we had to push our times right back. So yes, it was an ‘Error’ message. It said we had available slots but it wouldn’t let me select them as ‘not enough time to see both teachers ’. When it will be the same teacher, discussing one child, and then the other. Therefore we have had to go with that very early time of 4pm and my partner will now have to leave his work early. We had tried to get the available slots for later in the evening, at 5pm etc. it’s obviously a glitch that needs sorted. What should have taken 2mins took a very frustrating 20mins. I will alter my rating for your help offered. But only so far as the glitch caused us to get a ridiculously early appointment time, when there was later ones available.

I'm sorry to see you've had some trouble. I logged into your account and moved your second appointment so that it was back-to-back with the first. I don't know why you weren't able to do this, but if you want to pop me an email with more details (was there an error message saying you couldn't book back-to-back?) at hello@parents-booking.com, that would be helpful and I'll look into this for you. You should have an updated confirmation email with back-to-back appointments now. Would appreciate if you would remove this one-star review, because we're a small, family business who are trying our very best - and as this has been resolved. Just ask the school or ask us directly for help if you ever have any issues again and you'll receive version personal support :)

Edit/Updated: I've looked and it was still possible to move the bookings 10mins later, so I've done that for you and emailed you an updated appointment schedule. I hope this helps even if just a little. The teacher is fully booked after your appointments now, and wasn't ever available to book after 5pm on 30th April due to blocked out time slots (this was a teacher availability matter, not a system one), so that's the best that is the latest possible appointments I can give you now, but if an error was preventing you from booking 4:40/4:50pm earlier (other parents have these now), I am really sorry about that. The school has turned on a setting that stops parents booking back-to-back by default, so that parents have time to move between appointments, but we do have special-exception coding which allows parents of twins to book back-to-back even in these situations, if the students have the same teacher, so I honestly don;t know why you'd have been being presented with an error. If this is a bug, it's a new one and no one else has reported it, so I'll investigate for you tonight - promise!

Unreliable system

Originally went on at 9am on the day it was meant to be launched... unable to get any time with the teacher... now get a reminder and now only 5 times available...get it working when its meant to be!!!

I have been trying to get on and book…

I have been trying to get on and book an appointment for a few days then it locked me out till today and the only appointment I could get was 17.45 it is the same all the time can’t get on then you just have to take what’s left

Parents Booking doesn't lock users out, so if you'd like to email us at hello@parents-booking.com, with your school's name, I'll personally check what's causing you trouble. The school chooses the day and time that bookings 'open', so if you login before that you cannot book, but otherwise if the issue is you actually logging in there will be a reason and we can help you or the school fix it.
