After 1 of many storms our skylight was leaking, contacted roofer who did a first class repair job. Assist paid invoice within a week. So easy to deal with an actual person on the phone, and one who is efficient!! Well impressed with service.
I paid an extra premium to cover the loss of my hearing aids which were privately purchased. I had previously lost one, which because of the age of them, could not be replaced and I had buy a new pair. I made a claim, sent Parkhome Assist a copy of the invoice and my claim was paid with a week. I was very pleased with the service.

After my Boiler failed after a recent service, called the emergency call out team and went through loads of questions. They sent out a gas engineer who was not qualified in LPG even though they knew it was an LPG boiler. 5 days later, still not fixed no hot water and no heating. Absolutely terrible service. Not being able to wash or keep warm has had a detrimental effect on my wellbeing. i have wasted two days leave from work unpaid also. i have called several times and been told they are awaiting a response from the companies. It may be 12 degrees outside, but it is freezing in my home and as an asthma sufferer, this has been triggered off by their lack of care. i note the horrendous reviews and had i have known would never have gone with this company. The Testimonials do not reflect real life experiences.
After being bombarded with phone calls to switch our two car insurances over to them, they will be damn lucky if i even renew the house and contents next year!!!!!!

Avoid this insurance provider!!
Having gone through all of the required procedures & answering all of the relevant insurance questions, the price seemed reasonable for the coverage we were looking for, however, I had 2 questions, which were NOT COVERED within the insurance quote, on the sale of our Park Home, will you provide a refund as we were paying the full amount for the year? Apparently NO INSURANCE as we were selling our home???
Excuse me but if I had not informed of the fact that we were selling our home - would the insurance be invalid & other customers not informing this provider have invalid insurance!! Why was this not covered within the questions when making this quote. Absolutely disgusting. Penalised because we want to move!
Total shambles this company do not use as full of promises and very unhelpful just want to take your money cannot make a decision six to eight weeks waiting just wanted them to say yay nay but of course it was nay so much for paying extra for emergency cover so was told I need to get a report for myself £115 it would have cost being a pensioner it has been very stressful 😩

I made claim for a paint spill on my furniture , I'm disabled and stumbled when I was carrying the paint .it spilt over 1 leather chair and splashed on the second .when I mage s claim for accidental damage that I had paid for in the premium they 1st said I wasn't coverd i challenged them and they then totaly changed there position and said actual due to the age of the ffurniture it came under ware and tearing they closed the claim

This company is not worth one star, they should STATE at the beginning of their long drown out speech when you call them up asking about a quote that they DO NOT INSURE Park Homes that use OIL for central heating, what is the point of them seeing that most Park Homes are using oil for central heating Their reply is pretty useless.

I was provided a quote for my mobile home insurance 3/4 weeks ago And was told to call and set it up if I was happy with it. Once I finally got to take the call I was told there was a problem with the park office postcode being different to my home address and they would look in to it and get back to me. When they did I was told they were unable to provide me with insurance as they had too many on the site I was living on . I have never had a problem with any insurance previously and hope this won’t cause me problems in the future . Never heard so much rubbish .

My mum has been a customer of this company since 2008, and only made one claim in that time, she has had to be moved into a care home because of her declining health, my mum is due a refund on her monthly payments, but this company won't process the refund until they see a copy of my Power of Attorney, Really?? Obviously, the trauma and upset of this isn't enough for them, I now have to jump through yet more hoops, just together this refund for my mum.

Park Home Assist are not the cheapest insurer. However, I have renewed for a third term because it is easy to liaise with their staff and their cover is very good and exceeds most of their competitors - standard single item sum insured of £2000; Outbuildings and garages of £2500 cover and Money and Credit Cards to £1500 etc.. A major factor was also their Home Emergency Cover which costs an extra £25 - I had claimed under this cover for a wasp nest which was one phone call and the claims company done the rest, with no outlay to me and doesn't impact on my 'no claims' to the main policy. Other companies give similar cover within the main policy but you have to arrange and pay for the event and subsequently submit for approval, or, not.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, Customer for 3 years & never made a claim until this year,had to have a faulty front door lock replaced. Sent invoice, damage report & photo`s but Assist refused to pay the claim of £125 saying this was "wear & tear" so if your roof leaks would that be classed the same? please do not waste your time or money with this company, they should change their name to NON Assist.
I paid my annual fee of £219.37 which I thought was a good deal however 4 months later when I decided to move and asked for a refund I got £84.06. There were fees to the underwriters of £167.81 and fees to them of £19.45. I had been with them for 5 years, never made a claim and this is how you’re treated. I had referred them to several of my neighbours but will be revoking they advice as soon as I can. My advice is to go elsewhere unless you never ever plan to move. Apparently it’s all in the small print in the booklet they sent me, allegedly. Who reads the small print?
I live in Essex on a park home, for just a little while longer. Park Home Assist keep sending junkmail. I have rung a few times the lady on the phone said they can`t remove my address from the list.
I of course don`t believe this, they just feel that it`s their right to send junkmail.
Imagine if they are prepared to be economical with the truth, how they would treat you if you made a difficult claim.
Stay away and avoid.
And throw their adverts in the bin.
