Conned. Charged for pre-existing damage despite video evidence

We rented through ParkinGO Fiumicino (Rome) from 28/06 to 05/07. It was dark when we collected the car, so we took a video at pickup — which shows the damage mark was already there. Despite this, we’ve now been charged €330 for it.
We flagged the pre-existing damage and offered our video as proof, but it wasn’t accepted. If their handover checks had been done properly in the first place, this pre-existing mark should have been noted at pickup rather than blamed on us later.
We’re disputing the €330 charge with our bank. If you rent with ParkinGO Fiumicino, film the entire car closely at pickup, even in bad light, it may be the only thing that protects you from being charged for damage that was never yours. Although they will probably ignore it anyway, so I would avoid!

I will never use this service again

I will never use this service again. The shuttle driver taking us to the airport apparently thought air conditioning was unnecessary in June in Italy, making the ride extremely uncomfortable. The shuttle driver who picked me up on the return trip to retrieve my car was absolutely awful as well.

The worst part was that he loaded the bags for every other passenger on the van—eight people in total, all of whom were several shades lighter than me. However, when it was my turn, he simply walked away and got back into the van, leaving me to handle my own luggage.

In the future, I will gladly pay the higher price to use ParkVia rather than use this company again.

Very bad experience

Hello, i want to strongly advise you to choose alternative parking providers.

Service costed me triple amount that was in original booking.

I booked parking service 2025.10.26 at Frankfurt airport for period 10.28-11.02. When i arrived to parking location i had to contact number for shuttle service to the airport. I did it and after contacting i was asked to pay additional amount of 50 Euro. Even booking sayed its fully payed. As i undersood shuttle service provided from another company. So i told i will contact parkingo and clarify this additional payment. So i contacted parkingo about the situation and they replied that it was missunderstanding and its fully payed and I don't need to pay any additional charges they assured me of ongoing investigation. After i came back after my trip back to Frankfurt i contacted shuttle service. And again i was told that i cant get shuttle service because i did not payed additional charge. I went to parkinglot by taxi and i found my car wheel locked. I asked parking provider to unlock my wheel and they told me that I'm parked illegaly and i have to leave their premise. I removed wheel lock and left.
At 03.23.2026 i received fine from another company "Park & collect" stating that i parked my car ilegally and i have to pay fine 157.70Eur. I contacted parkingo again, i received very poor communication from them, all replies took weeks after sending multiple emails i received only vague answers. I saw payment deadline getting close, so i payed fine expecting get a refund after we resolved this situation. After payment deadline "parkingo" and local parking provider come to agreement and assured me fine is cancelled and this situation is resolved. But i did not received my payment back. I sent emails politelly describing problem with no replies. Seems like everyone now ignores me. I understand this is not everyday situation, but its not my fault i have all conversations with them. Booking amount was 59 Eur But i payed 236Eur for all this situation. I lost a lot of my time on this. I highly advise you not using this service.

My negative experience with

My negative experience is not related to the parking service. Unfortunately, it concerns their car rental company, Ciao Rent Car running from inside their premises.
In my opinion, this company operates in a dishonest manner by attempting to charge customers for extremely minor, almost invisible damages that would be impossible to detect during vehicle collection. There is a reason why industry standards and regulations refer to damage being assessed based on a minimum size, such as a coin-sized mark, rather than microscopic imperfections.
Despite this, Ciao Rent Car appears to disregard these principles and attempts to hold customers responsible for millimetric marks that could easily be normal wear and tear. As a result of my experience, I have decided to pursue legal action and submit formal claims against the company.
I would strongly advise future customers to thoroughly inspect the vehicle, or better even avoid ParkingGo and Ciao Rent Car.

Unauthorized joy ride?

I was led to believe that my car was to be kept parked in this underground lot. However when I picked it up, I found that ALL my mirrors were adjusted, the steering wheel was moved out of position, the seat was not in position, the radio (that I keep off) was on and the volume was set on loud, my dash navigation system was changed to new settings, my temperature control settings were all adjusted, and stacked items that I left in the rear area were scattered across the car.
I understand if the car needed to be moved, but there isn't any reason for all those items to be changed!
I wish I had recorded my mileage because it appears as if my car went for an unauthorized joy ride.
When I confronted the attendant they just shrugged and said the car was moved to another lot. I don't know where this other lot is or how safe it is and wasn't told that it would be moved from this safe underground location.
I certainly will not trust or use this service again.
***Please note - the response from ParkinGO is the same runaround answer I keep getting from them: the car was moved!
But their answer does not address that fact that ALL my personal settings in the car were altered. They make no attempt to explain these.
Now I am even more certain that this is a scam and my car was definitely used to joy ride.
This is not a professional answer, no apologies, no acceptance of blame.
Document your mileage and details of your car's settings if you still want to use this service.

I purchased a ticked for a covered…

I purchased a ticked for a covered parking and I found out the car was parked outside for 1 week. This is verified cross checking with the car GPS system. At my complaint the sent me just a sms, no refund, no voucher…nothing.. will never book it gain

They're scammers

They're scammers. They charged us €75 for being late, even though we arrived at the airport 4 minutes early. When we returned the car, they added another €120 surcharge for something negligible. On top of that, they gave us a smaller car than we'd paid for. Terrible service, the staff were very unpleasant.

They Earned My Trust Todaynted to leave a review for…

I wanted to leave a review for ParkingGo after a recent experience that showcased their incredible integrity. I am a first-time customer who had to cancel a booking at the last minute due to health reasons. I asked for a refund with very low expectations.

However, ParkingGo fully refunded my payment. They went above and beyond what was required, turning a stressful situation into a positive one. Because they treated me with such fairness, I will be a loyal customer moving forward. If you are looking for a trustworthy parking service, this is it.
