Absolute shambles - given wrong location, poorly managed, rude staff

Given the wrong location to access car parking for drone event at Loseley Park in Surrey, access so slow it took us over an hour to get in and we were nearly late for the event - didn't have time to enjoy stalls and attractions. We booked accessible car parking as my husband was disabled and the staff member was rude to us saying 'everyone's booked accessible car parking - its full but you can try'. Accessible car parking isn't where you book it for convenience, its because you can't attend the event unless you're close by because of a disability. Took us again well over an hour to get out of the car park. Absolute shambles.

if I could give them 0 stars I would!!

if I could give them 0 star in would!!

I booked car parking for the Radio 2 in the Park on Saturday 7 September, choosing the carpark R1, Penny Street, as the closest to Moor Park and the event. We followed the address (St Vincents Road, Fulwood, Preston, PR28UR) and the what.three.words location (crust.news.statue) given on the map arriving around 10:15, 45 mins before the gates to the event opened. When we got there, your car park operator scanned the number plate and informed us that we were at P1 not R1. The operator who was not from Preston and he gave us vague directions to R1 and said follow the red R1 signs. We set off to find R1, but could see no R1 signs. After 45 mins of driving around we arrived back at P1. After a telephone conversation with the supervisor, during which I informed him of the lack of signage and the incorrect address/what.three.words location, the supervisor agreed to allow us to park at P1.

As we were walking to Moore Park, we passed and spoke one driver who had followed the same information on the map looking for R1 but had arrived at P1; he too been given the same vague directions. Having initially arrived at the P1 car park at 10:15, following 45 mins driving around Preston, parking in P1 and a much longer walk of circa 45 min, we finally arrived in the event at 12:15…just in time to see Travis thankfully (who were awesome!). After the event finished and we exited Moor Park, we then had the much longer walk back to the car than we had originally planned.

I have contacted parkthecar both by email and phone: no reply the email and no answer to the phone - do not use this company.

Complete and utter shambles

Complete and utter shambles. No phone number and nobody responds to emails. Am likely to miss 3 Commonwealth events now due to their negligence and failure to communicate.
