Company details

  1. Web hosting company

Written by the company

Passim IT is a Dutch eenmanszaak, registered since June 2025, with a KVK number and a BTW registration. It is run by one person. That person specified the node, racked it, configured the ZFS pool, arranged the fibre, registered the IP space, and answers the tickets. There is no team. There is no support department, no first line, and no rota, and every page on this site is written that way on purpose. Hosts with two staff routinely advertise "24/7 expert support" and it is the single fastest way to earn a review that starts "nobody answered for three days". So: support runs roughly 07:00 to 00:00 CET, usually with a reply inside the hour, from the person who built the thing you are asking about. Outside that window, you wait. The customer base today is small — three paying customers. That is stated rather than hidden because it is directly relevant to what you are buying: at this size, the hardware is genuinely uncontended and the support is genuinely personal. It also means the business is priced to survive rather than to win a race to the bottom, which is the honest reason the numbers on thepricing pageare what they are. What is deliberately not the focus any more: IT consultancy, hardware and 3D printing. They exist, they pay for themselves, and they are not what this company is for. This company hosts game servers.

**Very disappointing experience with Passim IT**

I had a very disappointing experience with Passim IT.

Several of my servers unexpectedly disappeared from my account, and the names of some of my services were also changed without my authorization. This was especially concerning because I am using the services to build a Minecraft network and I need to be able to rely on the stability and security of my hosting.

I contacted Passim IT about the issue and explained what had happened. The owner apologized and told me that my refund would be processed and that my other servers would be restored, with the full month still available.

However, after that conversation, I had to wait and send several messages asking for an update regarding the refund. Despite the account appearing to be online, I did not receive a timely response.

I understand that technical problems can happen, and I appreciate the initial apology and the promise to restore the servers. However, having services disappear or be changed without authorization and then having difficulty getting a response has seriously affected my confidence in the company.

I hope Passim IT resolves the situation and processes the promised refund. Based on my experience so far, I would recommend being cautious and keeping independent backups of your data before relying on this service for an important project.

Hi there, Thank you for your review.

I understand your frustrations, and I have personally messaged you on Discord and got all your services back up and running. All of them have also been renewed for another month free of charge.

I understand you're upset, but I am running this company solely, so I might not always respond in a timely matter. If this isn't what you expected, you are always free to find another suitable host, while we did enjoy your presence with us.

Good hosting, excellent service

Used them for hosting a couple minecraft servers and some web stuff as well as Ergo IRC. When I did run into issues which turned out to be on my end the owner immediately supported me in finding solutions that work for me!
