CONSUMERS BEWARE!!

CONSUMERS BEWARE!!! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! They offer ridiculously priced loans with high fees and interest and offer little to no customer service, especially if there's fraud on your account. They don't even have a real fraud department. Tax loans are the worst. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scammers at the centre of Myprepaidcard problems. No customer service, delay, deflect and deny the prepaid card that has over $200 in credits. What a waste of time. Contact your state AG and Fed -CFPB to get them involved.

Crappy service

This financial service is by far the sorriest I have ever dealt with. I used one of there services called CARD premium bank and I did a mobile check deposit thru the CARD app and it shows my funds was deposited to my CARD account but I never received my funds. I have called CARD customer service several times and each time they tell me they dont see where I did a mobile check deposit to my account. Im definitely going to be going to the CFPB and the BBB "Better business bureau on pathward and CARD premium bank.

Lost my money, card doesn't work

Paid $25 plus $4 fee. Card doesn't work for online order. When I go to the mybalancenow.com website and try to register to report the problem it thells me "a system error has occurred. Try again later. So I'm out $29 and two hours ofmy time dealing with this awful company. Card is issued by Pathward Member FDIC. I'll complain to the bank regulator, FDIC. Bought this card at Target.

Your fraudulent/unauthorized transaction complaints will not be taken seriously...

I, Sonya Tarpley am writing this critical review to say that Pathward which issues(distributes) Porte Visa, a deposit account, allowed hard earned money of $200 to be stolen from my account even though I immediately reported this traumatic experience(case) of a fraudulent/unauthorized transaction via my CashApp account(on May 27, 2025 to Porte Visa Customer Service and wrote an email letter on May 28, 2025).. A supposed investigation was done by Porte Visa where they made me wait 2 weeks just to say that there was no pattern indicating fraud/evidence of account compromise/or evidence of device compromise... Therefore calling me a liar, siding with the thief(culprit) and not helping me to retrieve at least part of my funds... $200 may not be a lot of money to some people but to a hard-working single person like myself that's like $20,000 being stolen from me... So very disappointed and dissatisfied at how disrespectfully my case was handled.

A company and this is another company…

A company and this is another company that I’m talking about. I’ve been calling them since February about my money for them to send Navy Federal credit Union a letter about my money to find out which bank account they send that money to and they act stupid so I’m going to file a police report. I’m going to get my attorney involved and I’m going to file a lawsuit against you guys Because you guys are playing games that I do not have time for games. Games are for kids if it’s just the way you guys do business it’s all good. I’m not worrying. You guys owe me my $701.10. I just need my money once I get my money from you guys between you guys and Navy Federal credit union and the other person that did my tax my taxes. I’m gonna go to the news media and let the world know about this. It’s all good I’m not complaining. I’m just letting you guys knowing about this. Thank you.

Prepaid Card Scam

This company supposedly maintains prepaid card programs. However, the prepaid card that I received with an expiration date of Oct. 2028 was registered to someone else, and I suspect Pathward had a security breach that exposed unused cards to hackers. Be wary of any VISA prepaid card with MyPrepaidBalance.com as a service URL.

Super Sketchy Bank Enabled Theft of My 401k

This super sketchy "bank" allowed someone to open a bank account using my identity that they used to syphon all my money from my 401k at Fidelity (I'm dealing with Fidelity's failures too). Normally banks require multiple forms of identification to prove you are who you say you are in order to open a new account, but apparently not this bank because someone was able to claim they were me. It has been a nightmare dealing with all the repercussions of this ever since.

Moreover, this bank has very little information available about it. No human faces with their corporate board or team. No phone numbers or licensing numbers. Very little information about what they actually do. And there is literally no way to call them. The only number I could find for them - not on their website but via deep google searching - just tells you to look at their website.

Terrible Customer Service

I have reached out to this company regarding fraud on my daughters prepaid card. Unfortunately, my address was not updated, and I have no way to do so unless I agree to either email or fax my government ID and social security card to a stranger. I was told they will file the dispute and mail a check to the address on record. Financial documents are not forwarded by the USPS so my daughter will never receive her stolen money.

I would give 0 stars if I could.
