Really bad experience

I’ve ordered lipsticks on Black Friday sale on 24.11.2022. After a month with silence I wrote them. No response from customer service.
Lipsticks have great quality, but It’s not worth to get stressed for such a long time. I’ve lost my hope that it will come. Finally, I got my lipsticks today - 11.01.2023… Order was really bad packed. When I received it box was demaged. What is more, there was information on the website that all tax and duty are already included. That’s not true. I need to pay additional money for duty at the post office. I will never order it again from official website.

RECEIVED USED ITEMS??

So, I received used items from the warehouse… didn’t think to open them items of make up before actually GIVING THEM AS GIFTS as they were directly off of the website.
One of the presents was for one of my own family members so I was able to witness this myself. Came with all colours swatched and no plastic guard, yack.
Written to the customer services twice (once on the 26th Dec and the second on the 8th Jan) and I’ve had no reply or acknowledgment. Very disappointed, disgusted and embarrassed, should be sanitary as it’s make up, for the eyes (aka must be clean to avoid eye infections!)
So let down because when PML is at its best, the products are gorgeous, but when they come used and given as a present? Oh man… that’s sad… really upsets and embarrasses me… so let down.

it took like a month, but they didn't have my item so they gave me a full refund and a free lipstick. i dont like the idea of having a negative review stick around after my situation got remedied, so here's a five stars. hope yall get your refunds and items like i did

Only 2/3 of order arrived. No response from customer service yet.

ordered a 3 palette bundle 16th December. Order arrived 3rd January. This is great! However i only received 2 palettes. The 3rd one isnt even mentioned on the shipping invoice. So i emailed customer service to ask if the 3rd one was being shipped separately. Nothing. Then went through the official customer service. Nothing. Both times i got an automated response saying they would respond within 72 hours. Have now opened a case with Paypal.

Is a real shame, as the products i received are nice! worth the money? not sure as now i cant look at the 2 i received without feeling bitter.

If you want to order, id recommend using paypal just in case. Definitely never ordering directly again.

Disappointing

Ordered a lot of products on Black Friday sale. I have received a tracking link etc. But nothing has moved out of the sorting centre.
Support was responsive at first but has disappeared when I have asked about ETA and current status.
This is very sad and very frustrating as previous experiences were mostly positive and I love Pat’s products.
Edit: after two months of no proper reply, I got a refund. No explanation, no nothing. My personal opinion that they did not intend to send my order in the first place. I rate this experience even worse than when I wrote the original post.

Ordered on nov 24th, still nothing

Ordered on nov 24th, to this day I have still not received my package. I've been trying to contact their services but nothing .. no respons. It has been in customs since dec 9th. I understand things can go wrong but when you've send multiple messages and you get no respons anymore, other than 1 email from Global E saying this isn't normal and they were going to investigate (2 weeks ago) ... I see so many people complaining on here, I'm just really worried i'm not going to receive anything

Fast delivery to UK

I must say I am quite surprised by all the bad reviews. I’ve ordered from Pat McGrath 4 times and never had any issues. Always received all my items and shipping was very fast (I’m in the UK). I’ve never needed customer service so can’t comment on that.

Be careful what you pay for

I bought over $250.00 worth of makeup. Makeup I believed would be high end as the owner promotes herself as quality luxury. What utter BS! First off, the packaging of when it arrives is very cheap, it’s packaging you can get off of Amazon as a small business. The only thing that came in “safely” would be the palette. Here’s a breakdown of each product I bought (only one product was free because I spent over the minimum amount for a free gift). I will give a rating scale of 10. My purchase was bought during Black Friday week sale.

Moonlit Seduction Line & Define Trio: 7.5/10
Eyeshadow: 10/10 worth the money, the pigments are of high quality, no fallout, shimmers are bright. The packaging is really nice, it feels luxurious so it is worth its price point
Eyeliner: 2.5/10 it was felt tip, the ink is not consistent, it does not work well with the eyeshadows as it dries easily. Do not buy!
Mascara: 0/10 DO NOT BUY AT ALL! The packaging is so cheap, it feels like I could have bought it at the 99 cents store. The smell is horrible, it smelled of chemicals. There was no way I was putting the mascara near my eye. Not worth $29.99!

Skin Fetish Sublime Perfection The System: 4.5/10
Primer: 4.3/10 while the primer does it’s job well, the product is lightweight, it feels as if there is less product inside, the label itself came off when I took it out of its packaging, literally just a flimsy sticker paper. Not worth the buy to be honest.
Foundation: 5.6/10 it’s a buildable liquid foundation, however, when I wear it, it starts to feel running even with the powder. I definitely feel more greasy at the end of the day compared to my other foundations. The product is not horrible but it isn’t that great either. Packaging is very durable, and is high end.
Powder: 3.2/10 powder sort of works best under eyes, but I don’t notice a much subtle difference when I put it over my foundation. Packaging is cheap, even ELF has better packaging than that.

Pat’s Major Lip Kit: 4/10
Lipstick: 4/10 the packaging is cute, feels weight to it but I wouldn’t consider it high end. I returned it because I didn’t like the color on me compared to what was shown on the website. Sort of worth the buy for packaging alone.
Lipliner: 4/10, it felt very drying, maybe it just didn’t work well with my skin. It’s a risk.
Lipgloss: 2.1/10 the packaging was so cheap, it was not worth $29.99 for a lipgloss I can find similar weight and structure at a flea market.

Celestial Odyssey Luxe Quality: 8/10
Eyeshadow: 8/10 it’s a 4 pigment eyeshadow. Very basic simple colors, packaging similar to the moonlit seduction. This one was free but I wasn’t interested in the colors so I gave it to someone as a gift.

Overall, I do not recommend any of the products besides the Moonlit Seduction palette. It is very disappointing to have been duped by a brand that claims to be of high end but doesn’t give that same sentiment to the rest of the products. Not only that, but it is so shady when a company doesn’t have a direct line to their customer services. It is obvious Ms, McGrath is all about the money, not the quality of her products (at least not the smaller ones of her products). I returned some of the items about two weeks already, I know they received them but I have yet to receive a refund for those items. Even after I kept some of the others, after experiencing them fully, I’m returning everything else and only keeping the palette. Even then, will they even refund me? I don’t believe so, at least not without some pushback from my credit company who gladly are investigating and working on getting the money returned.

Pat McGrath, DO BETTER! You are hyped up by many beauty influencers, you promote yourself as high quality and luxurious makeup. But you disappoint me with your grandiose statements! Horrible!

Never buy from this site ever!!

Their website is really a scumbag. A thief and a fraud. I paid $389.28 in full on Dec 20th 2022 but no emails for confirmation or tracking ID were sent to me. Only an indication all orders made after Dec 15 will be shipped on Dec 25. I was patient because I thought I will get my order. Then out of the blue I received email pn Dec 28 2022 with a refund of $23.80!! There was no explanation for the refund! Why are you refunding me?! For what?! Why do sites like this even exist? They just take people money and hide. I will sue your company and make this viral. Shame on you! Never ever buy Pat Macgrath stuff from websites. Fraud fraud fraud

Good Customer service.w is very important for me…

This review is very important for me because I know how helpful is a genuine review of experience good or bad-- after my online order on pat McGrath website did not give a safe order response I wrote several emails to customer service Pat McGrath got an automatic response each time which was of no help,. Honestly I checked the reviews online and felt same as people who had written it.To my good luck I got response from customer services by a person named Mindi she kept responding to my each query after that and helped me with my order till I received it and as order was not complete helped me with refund, Everything that Mindi did kept my faith intact in the good customer service by Pat McGrath.One person who is at that spot can make or break your faith in a business that has been built on someone hardwork and passion.Thanks Mindi keep it up you did your job good and I am doing mine by taking your story forward-- Pat McGrath beautiful lipstick and service -- thanks for keeping my faith even if my order was small but faith big

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service! I ordered a lip color and they sent the wrong color. I’ve emailed four times and have yet to receive a response. It’s been three weeks.

Products 100% BUT!

Products 100% BUT!
My second time ordering from Pat McGrath. I so LOVE the make up. Honestly never had so many compliments & I’ve shopped every foundation ever. But delivery to Ireland/Europe is a joke. it’s like a 4/5week lead time! It’s 2022, get a better courier, or charge a bit extra for delivery. Ordered in October, it’s now Christmas & I’ll have to buy some rubbish to wear on my face. P/$$ed off 😡

No customer service

Beautiful products- if you get them. Received only 1 of 2 items I ordered, no reply from customer service, no refund. As per so many comments on their Instagram posts, this seems to be the norm for them. Think again before ordering here. Now my sister is missing her Christmas present and too late to order elsewhere.

Missing item of order GE3133635441US

I have received the parcel of order GE3133635441US. But 1 items was missing. As the parcel was perfect, it must had been missed when they were delivered. However, my bank statement shows that the whole price is deducted.

No update on the order

I placed my order on Dec 3rd . I got an email saying one of the lip product is out of stock and the amount is refunded. I still haven’t seen the refund amount credited back to my account. I haven’t received any of the items. I have emailed them multiple times and no update .I guess my $150+ went down the drain.It was supposed to be Xmas gifts for my friends and family. Their products are amazing but as most people mentioned poor customer service .
