It was easy to order slabs and they arrived securely wrapped. The only criticism would be that I would of liked message with a delivery date as I had know idea when they was turning up.

Lovely product that came on time with a friendly delivery driver. Still in the process of laying mine, but they look absolutely fab.
I had 8 x 30mm x 30mm Indian stone slabs they are nice colours I picked them up very good slabs.

Poor service , delays with no explanation, upon arrival despite paying for next day delivery , a large amount of paving slabs were broken. Replacements promised and next day delivery paid for again only to wait in all day, pay for another days labour for the landscapers to be told the driver had reached his maximum legal driving hours.
Compensated but would never recommend or use again too unreliable .

When we opened the packs one had been clearly broken in transit. On close examination prior to laying five were found to have hairline cracks in them making them unsuitable for use.
Paving direct got back to me, assessed the problem, which was probably the courier rather than the product and gave me a no quibble refund straight away for the damaged flags. Great service really

Delivery men rude and unhelpful. Damaged tiles hidden so not apparent initially. Refused to unload where we asked despite space.

I ordered some paving bricks and transferred the substantial amount of money that PD recived. Four days later i hadn't received an order confirmation or delivery date. I contacted PD by phone and eventually having been passed around the various departments it became apparent that someone had "forgotten" to process my order. How on earth can that happen!! I then had to go through the process of reordering the bricks, they arrived a few days later. I arrived home a few hours after the delivery, read the label on the side of a pallet and noticed it said bricks/layers when i had bought paving bricks! Got back on the phone, after the usual being bounced around various departments i insisted to talk to "your manager". Received the call back, you won't belive this, turns out that the bricks i had bought twice literally don't exist! Laying bricks of the design i wanted do but the paving option doesn't. PD literally made up the description on there website. This whole fiasco cost be £1,000's in project delay etc. BEWARE!

I had an order of slabs delivered last June for a path and patio in the garden. They kept arriving cracked and I had to get them re-delivered about three times because they were consistently arriving damaged. In the end I couldn’t keep my contractors waiting any longer so they actually laid ones with hairline cracks. It’s irritating but okay.
A few days ago I very carefully pressure washed as they were slimy/slippery. I did it on the lowest very gentle setting as I have plants growing in between which I didn’t want to disturb. The whole top layer, the decorative part, which was already less than a millimetre thick, way below standard has just disappeared instantly. I washed away.
I’m now left with bright white paving slabs. They’ve completely changed colour and the pitted bits of them retains dirt and they look absolutely dreadful.
I’m so upset. I can’t even begin to tell you. It’s actually ruined my garden. I feel duped and conned into buying something which is very much below standard and not fit for purpose.
It was an expensive job and I can’t bear to look at it.
It’s nothing like the description on the website “creating the perfect aesthetic to complement historic and traditional homes and gardens.”
It’s an ugly white path and patio which sticks out a mile instead of blending in.
It’s a first world problem but I’m now stuck with a hideous path and patio which I saved hard for and was so looking forward to.

Great deal on the tiles in the sale. Only a couple of broken tiles in the batch. Fast delivery. No complaints.

Excellent product at the right price. Was given a delivery slot that was adhered to and the material placed just where it was needed. Bang on.

Everything arrived fine, the delivery guy was helpful and was able to leave things where we wanted them. We did not get the tracking note but all arrived first thing effectively before the note was sent. It was fine.
Product is good as the pictures.
Downside was the split pallet cost. I thought I needed just over a pallet but as it was there were a few spares so I did not need more than the pallet. I ordered some a few extra bricks to be sure I had enough but the cost was very high :(!

We were a returning customer but despite there being no problem with our original purchase it is now company policy to get a "what 3 words " reference to avoid delivering issues. In fact despite all the hassling it resulted in the opposite as then being told delivery would 3-5 days and that a pre delivery advisement email would be sent 2 days beforehand we had 3 full pallets of slabs turn up at 9am without any advance warning and whilst I was not at home. Fortunately the driver was helpful and managed to drop them without blocking access but I then had to spend two hours moving them late at night when I got back.
I sent an email complaint through to the supplier but no surprise received no reply !!
Update - having read the reply from Paving Direct I have just forwarded a copy of my original complaints email as sent to them on the 6th February so unsure why they would claim that no email was received. Definitely a case of making a bad situation worse
