Good customer service. I initially bought a size too small for my dog and after a brief email conversation about it, they sent me a larger size.

I have two sizes, the smedium and a medium. The smedium is clearly too small and tight for my dog, but the medium is a bit too big and slides off his head. The item does have a throat strap that you can cinch but I found that if it's too tight it can choke the dog without really holding the helmet on. The item would be more secure if there was an adjustable strap around the neck hole and also around the face hole, like a hoodie sort of.

I also kind of don't like how all the padding is on the outside. I realize this is for sound dampening, which is good. But there should be a little padding on the inside around the speakers so that the hard components aren't pressed right against the dog's tender ears. For example, take a look at human headphones and how there is padding around the speaker.

Kirsten custom tailored and sent a new outer for my Havanese as he was between sizes. The new one fits very well and the headphones really work!
I received several customer support emails with additional suggestions on how to train with treats and connecting with Bluetooth and playing music. I followed all the suggestions and my dog actually jumps on the couch to put his headphones on. This is a great solution for my anxious and sound sensitive dog. Thank you Pawnix!

I got this for my dog who is really scared of our vacuum cleaner. I put the pawnix on her, turned on some ambient rain noise, and she took a nap while the vacuum ran out in the hall! She didn't even know the vacuum was running. This will be really helpful when we are cleaning the home. Really satisfied with my purchase!

I’d give them 5 stars for Customer Service as they tried really hard to make this headset work for my anxious dog. While there has been some improvement with her anxiety during thunderstorms, it is not 100%. It definitely takes the edge off, but she is still panting during storms. However, she is not barking and racing around as much as she did. I’ll take this improvement and keep working with the headset and other things (I.e. Thundershirt and mild sedatives) until we find the right combination.

Made especially for our square headed French Bulldog and work a treat! Super fast service and delivery. Wonderful service!!

The setup of PAWNIX is easy. It is easy to put on your dog's head. The material is soft for your fur baby. My dog went to sleep within three minutes of having on the headset. This is a great invention to help reduce your dog's anxiety during thunder storms and fireworks events. Thank you!

My dog suffers from noise phobias of all types. Prescription drugs were difficult to administer. PAWNIX to the rescue! My dog puts the headphones on with streaming calming music and she instantly calms down and falls asleep. Thank God for PAWNIX!

They are excellent to work with and will go out of their way to make any changes necessary for your pet. I will have to wait until New Year's to see if it will make a difference as to muffling firdworks.

The headphones did not work for our dog, she refused to wear, but Pawnix was very easy to work with and refunded my money without any issues. I would recommend!

We really love the idea of Pawnix, the order came quickly, was easy to get ready, connect to blue tooth, charge, etc. But, the headphones didn't really work for our dog. The fireworks may be too intense in our neighborhood, and our dog may be too neurotic...she kept shaking the head piece off. Worth a try though!

Wonderful customer service, very prompt and helpful. Worked with me to troubleshoot the Bluetooth issue and quickly sent a replacement when it was determined to be defective.

I was doubtful that these would work for my pup who has always been terrified of loud noises. I couldn’t believe it when she slept through the 4th of July. They really do work. Now, if there’s a thunderstorm, she lets me put them right on her and she lays down and naps.
My other pup is a bit younger and more active. She’s fine putting them on, but it’s a little harder to keep them on.

My elderly Frenchie developed a thunder/fireworks phobia last year and was hurting himself in the apartment to get away from the noise. He would shake violently rly and his heart would race—scary behaviors for an old dog! The owner answered all of my questions immediately and even made a custom set to fit my Frenchie’s head—amazing customer service/care. These dog headphones came right before July 4th and some massive thunder storms in NYC just in time! I stream calming dog music and he is able to relax.
