Sales were great, unsurprisingly. First date to lay the floor came and went and no one showed up. Second attempt came, fitter had advised he would be here from 7am, arrived at 6pm after I contacted him to find out where he was. He then quoted me more for the fitting fee than I had been advised. Fitters did the job really quick and seemed to leave in a hurry. On inspection, the vinyl floor I had had laid had stones underneath it. The floor had not been prepped properly. I had been unable to see this while the fitters were here because they left large offcuts all over the floor so I was only able to see it when I tidied up after they left. Fitter appeared a little intimidating but I thought maybe that was just me. Tried to contact the company, no answer as obviously they had then shut for the day. After lots of back and forth with the company they said same fitter needed to come back. Fitter then cancelled again although did let me know on the day this time, eventually came back 2 weeks after initial fitting, literally just made holes in the floor to get the stones out and glued it back down. Then said “in future you contact me with a problem not the company”. I felt really intimidated and frightened. So just let him leave and accept the fitting job was poor. However, now 6 months later there is mould coming through the vinyl in various areas and I’ve never had this problem before. Floors are kept clean but seems to be coming through from the underneath. I’m unsure if this is due to poor quality flooring or poor quality fitting but it’s not fit for purpose- to the point that my landlord has requested I get it replaced again, so that was £100s down the drain. Customer service was shocking, fitting service was shocking. Avoid this company like the plague!

Do not use . They take your money but do not complete the job. We have had our installation cancelled on 3 occasions, because the installer had car issues another occasion he was ill the third occasion he cancelled because he didn't have another job in the area and because he had already been paid, he didn't want to come out because for him it was a waste of time. We have maid several complaints to customer services who seem to give us apologies but no Solutions, they keep putting us off, saying we need to email our complaint. We paid the money back in October in full , we're now in February and still the work is not completed. We were offered a 10% discount on our next purchase from them. As you can appreciate I would never use them again so the 10% discount is useless I have asked for compensation for the times that we've had to take off work for non show ups and still we have had no resolution. We are still waiting for the rest of our flooring to be laid. I have read the reviews on Trust pilot and the majority of the reviews are terrible. DO NOT use this company, shoddy service etc etc. They need to be shown for who they are. I would not use recommend or even mention this company going forward.

I have used this company twice at 2 different homes and I can’t say enough good things about the work that they do. I would use them again and/or recommend them to others

Fault on laminate flooring fitting pay day sent fitter back he said water was under the laminate thats why it has risen. He used a water meter .never heard from them again .will not use again
So please beware they dont honour there work.not a good example account paid in full to pay day carpets

I am absolutely appalled by this companies work ethics do not buy from them please.
On November 1 2024 i took a day off work (no pay) to have a delivery of laminate flooring which only half was delivered bearing in mind I had another company to lay the flooring as the company wanted £300 plus £40 delivery extra to lay. this I was not aware off when quoted at the time of booking.
So I had to cancel my flooring person.
I rang payday flooring office to rearrange another delivery date no sorry for the shortness of laminates delivered either. I booked a date in December again took another day off work with no pay and guess what no one turned up ☹️ that day.
So the next available day was today 30th January 2025 delivery driver wanted an extra £40 had to take off another day with no pay from work which in all has cost me all £280 in lost wages and 2 delivery charges which were not my fault.
The admin staff at payday flooring were very unhelpful and didn’t care they said you need to pay or no delivery. So they put me in a catch 21 situation. When I asked payday flooring for a refund all I got was you have paid in full we don’t do refunds unless you buy other products from us. The laminate flooring has turned out to be very expensive. Dreadful customer service I just hope there is nothing wrong with the laminate.

Had a lovely lady come to measure up, she was very professional and caring, measured up and sorted everything out for me, made me feel at ease, would highly recommend her, especially for vulnerable people 😊 thank you terrie

Be very careful! Firstly whatever you buy is non refundable! Secondly if whatever you buy is faulty they will not assist you and tell you there is nothing further they can do. I bought a bed and paying over £1000for it, it’s squeaky and uncomfortable. Worst decision I ever made. Just make sure you read the terms and condition otherwise you are signing a contract with a company that’s out to benefit. No wonder they are for people with bad credit as they know people are desperate. I had forwarded details to family and friends and I’m telling everyone to keep away. Oh biggest lie is from purchase to instalment! on delivery you pay £50 to the driver and he leaves it by your door. No instalment. I will fight for my consumer rights as a thousand is a lot of money for a bed that sings every time you turn! So pissed off!!!! Customer service is disgusting ! VILE VILE BILE company!

Disgusting DO NOT BUY FROM THESE, PAYDAY FLOORING ROB you of your money, I bought blinds from these,

1st wrong sizes were delivered for two rooms
2nd refused return and refund after several calls

3rd before they were delivered they were questioned by the delivery guy by him telling them they were the wrong sizes, and they said just deliver them,

The Customer service people are all rude, AND COULD NOT CARE LESS,

Please DO Not waste your money these are a scam as by scamming people to buy of them and DONT CARE what they SEND

And the one who comes out and measures up her reviews are really good, about the only one who will ever write a good review

They are a disgusting company I went with them to get my floor and I paid for months for the floor I’ve not recieved because of issues on their side and when I got sick of it and wanted my money back after putting £150 into their account I said enough and wanted my money back and they told me they’d just give me £39 back which is disgusting, it wasn’t my fault I multiple times called and asked for my floor to be delivered and they failed to do that, it was not my fault and I was sick of waiting I ordered the floor in August and in October still not had it and we are in January and they keep changing the amount I’m entitled to back, first I was told £75 then month later same thing and now suddenly I’m only entitled to £39 what a disgrace DO NOT GO WITH THEM

They don't deserve any stars. My hall way etc is ruined 6 times I've been let down by no one turning up to rectify the matter. Too many problems to write about all I can do is warn people not to use them. I now have to pay someone else to sort the problems out this has been going on since October

I’ve just cancelled my order , I have been waiting almost 8 weeks for my fitting , only for them To cancel on the day, I removed carpet and underlay the night before as asked to do so,I received a phone call to say drivers has had an accident to then get a new date this Tuesday once again moved every thing out the room and was cancelled on again at 11.30 am and given a new date the following Tuesday , I’ve had to live with concrete floors with small children ,I have so far had 2 days of work , then started reading the reviews and decided to cancel as I know i wouldn’t be getting my carpet before Xmas , they then informed me they will Be taking 25% of what I’ve paid plus no deposit back , fraudulent company make you rip up your carpet so your reliant on them and take as much money as possible before you have enough and cancel to then put there apparent cancellation policy in place , please avoid this shit conning company at all costs robbing divs

This company is laughable tbh, I had laminate flooring in my living room and hallway fitted by these jokers and they supplied white beading with dark floors (yes weird, I know) so the fitter said white is going to look stupid so I will get you some dark beading and come back and fit it.

I soon learnt that the fitter couldn't be bothered to fit the white beading so he lied to get out of fitting it as they only supply white (or so I learnt later) to begin with, and the fitter knew this and just lied.

I have called them three times for them to come back and fit the beading, they gave me three dates to come back and complete it and no one turned up.

The last time I spoke to them I warned them I would cancel my payments and take them to a small claims court and that is what I am going to do.

The floor is also coming apart in a small area in my hallway but overall the flooring is nice and it was fitted well and I was going to have the rest of my property fitted with these people, that Isn't going to happen now!

So they could have had a good review, more work and more money if they employed decent human beings to fit the flooring.

You now get a bad review cancelled payments and court proceedings, you people are very strange actually wrecking your business.

To think we gave the fitters a tip upon payment, people just don't want the work in this country these days - no professionalism at all anymore.

Like previous people have put, I’d give zero stars if I could, absolute vile company, had the wrong sofa delivered, also damaged,their refusing me a refund! As a customer I’m well in my rights to have this exchanged or my money back! I’ve never in my like had to deal with a company like this!… terrible!! People beware!! Wish I’d read these reviews before even entertaining the company!!….i will be seeking legal advice and no more payments will be made from me!!…. What a joke!!

Left an autism person at the door with the wrong flooring in the van .
I told them I can't move furniture they said for extra they would they left I knew something was wrong they said there van broke down and they won't touch my floor because it was messy and 5 items to move was to much for 240 pound

It should’ve went into it should bounce back to payday flooring finance account and then they should’ve paid me. The WHAT I DON’T UNDERSTAND IS THAT THEY PAID FOR PAYMENTS INTO MY NEW ACCOUNT IN NATWEST £36 THEY PAID DIDN’T THEY PAY THE REMAINING £282 INTO NATWEST AS WELL? WHY SEND IT TO OUR ACCOUNT THAT IS CLOSED? Same I would give this company a 0 quick to come round and give a quote and take money been 4 times rescheduled having cleared a bedroom and everything everywhere waited in all day and not even a phone call to say wasn’t attending it’s been back and forth for 8 weeeks they Clearly don’t have reliable fitters and say u won’t get all your money back only 75% when in fact if u have a good bank u can get all your money back they have broken there

And re named them selfs once already and done this to so many others My mum is 73 years old and been waiting months. They Keep putting her off when calling she’s paid them £290 in total over the waiting Period
and she’s not even had it laid and didn’t even have a phone call to say they wasn’t coming for the 4 time in a row. I would not recommend this company they use it as a affordable pay weekly and pray on the week and people with low income. Save up and go to someone that will turn up. And not taking your money and leave you high and dry.

I would give them 0 stars if I could.. ordered early May, they started taking payments immediately. Had a delivery date for June. The driver didn't bother turning up or telling us he wasn't coming. Wasted an entire day. Then they said next delivery was end of August. Didn't get a delivery date. Called today for a full refund as its been months of payments with no actual flooring. Also we were mis sold at point of sale, and nit informed there was a 50 delivery charge on day of delivery. Absolute jokes of a company

Why tell me to get in touch to resolve the matter when u know fine well u Arnt gona resolve it to make u look like use r actually professional then tell me ur not gona fix the problem do not use these people avoid them as there ripping people off

Absolute scam they kept cancelling my fitting date this as been going on since may this year and still no fitting i have emailed them and said im taking this to a solicitor as i want my money back they emailed me back saying i will not get my 50 pound deposit back and what ever ive paid so far which was 20 pound a fourth night I’d only get 25% back of each transaction which is five pound which now ive told them im taking court Proceedings and have a solicitor involved as it does not state in there terms and conditions any of this about if you cancel they will take 25% of each transaction you make what a absolute disgrace
