Never use paypal digital gift cards / voucher , charge in in seconds but waited hours and not arrived

I would avoid buying Top up e-vouchers through Paypal. I Paid for a Lyca voucher through paypal and Digital Gifts were supposed to email the voucher. They should email the vouchers within minutes to say an hour or so.
Never did receive any email and after a few days I opened a case. Who wants to wait days for a top up voucher?
In the end Digital Gifts stated that they had emailed the details which clearly they hadn't and then paypal closed the case in their favour which they were going to do anyway as the purchase of the e-voucher works hand in hand between paypal and Digital Gifts through the paypal website.
Avoid.

Don't Buy Gift Cards from PayPal, claim they'll be delivered within a couple hours -NOT! Then they won't let you request cancelation, they put you off to PayPal Gifts to sort it out -WTF
PayPal reputation degrading by the minute... I used to love this company!! (emphasis on past tense).

Would be 0 if that was an option

Doesn’t ask you to double check the email address and details you enter to send items to.

Refuse to refund if it doesn’t turn up, or check why.

Appalling customer service

The biggest scam in history. they take your money but when it doesn't work and can't be used they are not interested in helping. Customer service is abysmal

I bought a digital gifts card from digital gift paypal,4th may when it came threw on my email it said press here for code. I did and ther is No code

Bought a Google Play digital gift for a friend. I didn't receive the promised email to tell me that she'd received it and she didn't receive the email containing the code.
I raised a case with PayPal and was told I needed to contact eBay - I didn't buy from eBay - I bought from PayPal!
Nevertheless, I followed the link but the Ebay form insisted on me entering a US State from a drop down list even though I'd selected United Kingdom as the country so I couldn't use this route.
I proceeded to raise a case with PayPal, pretending that I'd had no response from Ebay and enclosed a screen shot of the unusable Ebay form.
I received an email, today, informing me that my claim for the refund of the purchase price had been refused because "the purchase is ineligible for PayPal's Buyer Protection" That was not stated at the time of my order. Steer Clear!

I NEVER got my giftcard! Money wasted! This is bullcrap! I wish I knew how to get my money back or get my giftcard Now! Not recommending this to ANYONE

Paypal one of many methode payement. so fast and secure

Completely out of the blue. Someone sent me money for goods & services via PayPal. No idea who they were or why they sent me money. They live in the USA and I live in Scotland. I contacted them to enquire and they said someone told them to send me money. The paypal address they were given bared no resemblance to my paypal address so your guess is as good as mine how I got the money.

They opened a case against me for non delivery of whatever they were buying (no idea because I wasn’t selling anything).

I gave PayPal all the info PROVING the person sent money to me in error. I told paypal to give them the money back. Which they did and paypal charged me £12 extra for looking at the case. Lol. They looked at a case of someone sending me money randomly in error. But I had to pay paypal £12. How many other people have PayPal scammed out of £12.

Needles to say I appealed. But they simply don’t care. They completely skipped over the proof and points I raised. They never once answered any questions I had

Complete disgrace

AVOID. this so called company as technically stolen over £300 from charity Donations by holding the account.

A utter disgrace .......For NO reason they put a permenent limitation on my account ..,.....I had a lot of money in my paypal account ..but when i tried to trasfer it Paypal told me they where going to keep all of my money for ...6 months ,,,,,,,i complained and was told no we can keep you money for 6 month

I have been reading reviews about useless paypal , just horrors, nothing else. I woke up and found that Avast took £78.99 form my acocunt for Secure LIne VPN which doesn't work at all and paypal send me this bla bla Just sit and wait for 7 days and do nothing

You are so fast with taking money fast and very slow with returning them so you can make a profit and no compensation at all.

I am completely hacked and nobody absolutely nobody cares at all Massive super rich hackers are running freely and there is 90 millions of them producing evil bzzzzz / demonic ohmmmmmmm and nobody, absolutely nobody cares about arresting them and putting them back to hell where they came from. They all were my neighbnours and I had no problem with them untill I bought the house between them and me form their criminal friends. You belong to hell with them They turned on me and I almost died tdue to them and nobody absolutelly nobody cares

I am always shocked at the incompetence of a company when it comes to customer service. A simple thing like having a contactable number is beyond paypal. I just tried to see if I can ask a simple question. I was left with no message can be left it's out of service. So call them no those links are not available. So I wonder if I don't pay my bill maybe the company might call me?? Seems like this will be the case. When companies are stupid this is the best way to deal with them.

Purchased a Lycamobile top up voucher and didn't receive the top up card for hours.

My PayPal activity kept saying if you have a problem receiving it, contact Ebay when this had nothing with Ebay. I immediately suspected I could have been scammed.

More than 3 hrs later, I received the top up code very late. I will never use PayPal for vouchers again.

I was refused credit even though I have an excellent credit rating. I tried to close my account with them and it is an impossible task. Customer service is non existent. Absolutely rubbish with an app that's about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike.

I am well aware of the preponderance of negative reviews of PayPal but I must say, my dispute with a seller was handled promptly and efficiently. I could not have wished for better service.

I have had a couple of bad experiences from PayPal
There last one leaves me in no doubt never to use any service that requires trust.
Paypal is not the trustworthy helpful reliable service and should be avoided

Don't ever buy from Paypal Gifts, they incorrectly authenticate their giftcards and can trigger fraud security on sites when activated, then will refuse to refund or work with you to resolve the issue. It's a scam, buy your giftcards elsewhere.
