Completely useless with AI
Completely useless with AI. PayPal don’t appear to be able to protect consumers anymore as it’s all AI driven. I paid for a 3 month game pass and was sent a 1 month game pass. That’s fairly easy to see a refund is required you’d think. Not AI, it refused and sided with CJS KEYS on ripping me off. Completely useless service
Paypal is refusing to pay me for wrong sized shoes I cannot wear.
I have ordered from a company called Olyndra London a pair of adverse shoes size 10.5 on the 22 of September with a delivery at extra pay of £2.99 for a delivery in 2 to 3 days, The shoes arrived 19 days later with a Continental size 45 which were to large. Olyndra London did not offer me a refund which Paypal did and returned the money into my account. 10 days later Paypal contacted me and told me the reversed their decision and I hat to pay for the shoes which are to large and I cannot wear with reason “ Even if the Purchase is not of the same quality or size as advertised but similar I have to accept the product?? This is absolutely disgraceful as I have now a pair of shoes which are too large and don’t fit and I cannot wear. I am going with my complaint now to the Financial Ombudsman and to my credit card provider to get my money back. Both companies Olyndra London and Paypal have an absolutely shocking customer service and after 20 yeas I will stop now my Paypal account. Please be careful that you don’t loose your money with both of this companies and avoid them.

App is so much more difficult to use
App is so much more difficult to use. Will only use to buy purchases from now on. If it wasn’t for being covered for purchases I’d stop using it because because beyond that it’s actually crap!!
Bought 2 chairs from an advert on…
Bought 2 chairs from an advert on facebook. Turns out they are coming from china. I paid via PayPal as I thought I would have some protection if they didn’t arrive. Whilst I was out of the country on holiday I received an email to say delivery had been made. I checked both my security cameras and no one had tried to deliver anything all week. Nobody was in my home at the time so definitely not delivered. When I contacted PayPal they refused my claim as the company had sent them a tracking number showing delivery was made to my home. That was impossible. Even though the seller had no signature or photo to prove delivery PayPal sided with the seller and told me to contact my credit card company but as it was under £100 that’s pointless. Lost my money and nothing to show. What is the point of PayPal????
I’m a very disappointed customer. Looking at the company details it seems like this is a common scam with them. PayPal should be able to check this.
Theft and complicity
Money was taken from my account from a seller without my permission for an order that I did not place. I have video evidence that the delivery was refused etc.
Paypal refused to review the evidence and refused to process the refund.

As a nurse I trusted this site to safely pay my simple bills to next plc predominantly.
Simple simple and professional for a lot of years.
Now as all platforms that we used to trust..it's gone.. PayPal like most ,have lost their security trust and status...?? Avoid
PayPal now untrustworthy
PayPal allows Temu to process fraudulent transactions. It was my belief PayPal provided protection from this. I was wrong.

Used PayPal for 20 years
Used PayPal for 20 years. Never a problem until recently. Fabletics took an unauthorised £49.99 payment from my account in exchange for a credit on their website. It was in very small writing that you would and many others have missed. PayPal have refused my claim to get my money back. Completely lost trust in them.
A company that does not follow…
A company that does not follow consumer's rights. Proof, evidence, screenshots were provided to paypal and yet they refused to refund what was owed to me. They bow before chinese sellers as they have absolutely no powers. what a joke. powerless in front of chinese sellers even if they are in obvious wrong
Having seen some unrecognised payments…
Having seen some unrecognised payments out of PayPal on my bank account, that were not showing in my PayPal account, their bot made a decision within seconds that they were legitimate.
To stop the possibility of any more suspicious payments I deleted my PayPal account until the bank could tell me more on Tuesday, when they had cleared.
Because I had closed my PayPal account, there are no details showing at the bank.
Paypal by phone said, well, you've closed the account, so we can't see what's happened. This is despite UK banking law requiring 5 years of banking transactions on closed accounts to be kept.
In summary, unlawful record keeping and an absolute failure of the most basic customer service. Won't go near PayPal ever again.

This lot along with their friends Ebay are starting to annoy me big time. You pay for something then get asked all sorts and get sent round in circles, passwords especially dont work anymore. I've spent ages today trying to pay for a simple order for a CD £3 why all the crap? Digital currency no thanks and they want to bring in digital ID well god help us all.

Paypal dual security? So secure you can't log on.…
Since 'Paypal' introduced dual confirmation security I have rarely been able to complete a purchase, as the confirmation code texts sent to me seldom reach me. This has been remedied twice but is now happening again. In order to discuss this I need to contact 'Paypal. Unfortunately in order to talk to 'Paypal you need to log on? I know, we are in the era of AI, but 'Paypal's' security system designers seem to lack both AI and HI (Human Intelligence) when it comes to this matter. Having just gone through a process of being offered an alternative whatsapp text ( I don't have whatsapp, nor want it), I was then asked to complete my security questions to contact them. having answered the questions as requested guess what? They sent me a security code text (which again never reached me) in order to log on and discuss this problem. I can't even get onto 'Paypal' to close my account (the preferred option). well done 'Paypal' you have turned idiocy and incompetence into an art form.
No support from this company so look elsewhere!!
Always happy with PayPal until now! Vile and abhorrent treatment following dispute and claim. Seems that PayPal actually believe they are above the law? That is 1974 consumer act specifically section 75 where if you have purchased through PayPal credit they are jointly liable with the seller for the purchase.
Items delivered damaged to my property and was not even present. Damaged goods parts missing and one delivered order smashed to bits!
No support whatsoever and PayPal think I will just go away quietly like I can afford to throw away £100s of pounds. Not happening any more and listening to nonsense for over a month I have had enough.
Do not expect any support from this company they are a joke! Tell lies consistently and everytime I ring I get a different story! Left do not know what the right is at! In fact nobody knows what they are at. Disgusting company that have a customer service that is at best pathetic and woeful! Like droids with countless apologies that change nothing. Absolutely ridiculous all of them!!!!
They sell your number to scammers.
You can’t close the debit card account and the credit card account online or using the app, it requires a call back from the Philippines call centre, since I closed the two accounts I have received spoof telephone calls from scammers that PayPal have sold on my phone number to third parties then on to scammers, the spoof numbers only happened since dealing with PayPal in the Philippines.
This company is a TOTAL disgrace
This company is a disgrace, ordered 3 pairs sandals and insurance from a fake website named Avery Lane in Brighton (apparently didn't exist) but I received my items around 2wks later. On ordering said items, I pressed the PayPal button to pay but it didn't take the payment straight away and there was several seconds delay after pressing to pay so I thought it hadn't gone through, so I pressed it again, next thing I knew it had charged me twice for the items ordered! I then rang PayPal straight away but was told that I had to contact the seller myself, gave me a team support email and a phone number for JAPAN! Have had so much trouble with the seller and they replied to me but avoided my statement of asking for a refund due to the double payment! They still haven't given me a strait answer about a refund and after 4 emails to them doesn't look like I'm going to get one. Reported it to pay PayPal who sided with the fake company and didn't even catergorise the correct reason for my dispute! PayPal completely miscatergorised my claim as an" item not received " delivery issue. Because they tracked it as a delivery problem..... Which was never my complaint... They closed the dispute in favour of the fake company and their customer support ignored what I actually said. I need to warn others about PayPal's broken dispute system. I was double charged by a fraudulent company because the payment button glitched. Despite explicitly telling them this was a billing error, PayPal logged the case incorrectly, their resolution process is a joke!!! I have now sent PayPal a msg stating that I want to make a formal complaint immediately and if they refuse to refund my outstanding double payment within the next 15 days then I will just ignore them and write to the Ombudsman financial services to report it, then let's see how quickly it gets resolved. Once I have my refund back Im going to close the PayPal account for good and would never use it again as they are scammers just like the fake company I bought from. I actually thought that PayPal would be a safe bet for the purchase, how wrong was I!!!
My credit card was cloned and despite…
My credit card was cloned and despite being cancelled and reported to the relevant authorities paypal still paid the illegal activities. I raised the fraud with paypal through the resolution centre and to my horror my paypal never listened.
They're complicit with the fraud. Avoid paypal.
