So awful! I just want to talk to an agent. Cancel my credit card. Ask why I have a balance that might screw my credit rating even I haven’t used the card in a year send a half. I just you to go away… but you don’t let me. No answering and apps do not work. The shittiest service ever! Hours and hours on hold! WTF? I dummy get upset easily, but this is ridiculous! Never, ever, ever use this credit card

No customer service

If you dont have tellers. If you have removed your banking machines from your grocery stores. Then you should at least have some customer service when a customer calls.

Abysmal "bank"

Abysmal "bank". The online chat doesn't know what the phone centre is doing, but good luck getting through to anyone. It can takes DAYS to talk to a chat agent, and an hour to get to a human by phone. They then send you a card that doesn't work. This isn't a real bank--it's a psyop to see how much ineptitude you will tolerate.

Applied, Approved and Closed

Applied for a PC Financial mastercard, was approved, received the card but when going to activate it, I was told the account was closed and they're unable to disclose the reason why.

Major Issues: No customer service, no Samsung Wallet, no Autopay

Three major issues with the PC Mastercard for me are that you cannot add it to your Samsung Wallet, you cannot put your account on autopay, and Customer Service is useless. Had I known, I would not have bothered getting this card. When you contact them by phone to rectify an issue, the customer service is horrible! Prepare to wait 45+ minutes before even talking to an agent. They will file numerous complaints with a reference numbers (see attached screen shot), to which they have never once provide follow-up or rectification. When you request a call back from a Supervisor, that never happens either. The back office has no idea what they are doing; it's just a waste of your time calling. I will be cancelling my card as soon as my statement is provided.

AI can't solve my issue

Have called about an issue that can't be solved via AI which they push. Got hung up on twice after holding 15 minutes. Called today after 29 minutes said can't take this call and hung up again. No banks to go to I am contemplating letting my credit card go to much hassle and it has my pc points I can't even use till issue solved. Bah humbug and yes I am a Karen and usually a patient person.

PC Financial MasterCard - Customer Disservice

I’m writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding the delay in receiving my replacement card.
I reported my lost card in early September and was told that a replacement would be sent via courier due to the postal strike. It is now October 17, and I still have not received the card. When I called today to follow up, I was informed that the card had been sent, but there was no confirmation of when or how.
I requested another replacement and was told it would take 10–12 business days, which is concerning given the length of time I’ve already waited. I also asked if it could be couriered (as originally promised), but the agent said he wasn’t authorized to do so and transferred me to another department. Unfortunately, after being on the call for about 90 minutes my call ended with a busy signal.
This experience has been both time-consuming and distressing. I am urgently in need of my replacement card.
If you're looking for customer disservice, go with a PC Financial credit card. Otherwise, just go with the tried-and-true big banks.

PC Financial has consistently…

PC Financial has consistently demonstrated an alarming lack of competence and reliability, both for customers and staff. Their systems are inefficient, their customer service is slow and unhelpful, and staff appear unsupported and undertrained, leading to repeated errors and unresolved issues. Customers frequently face long wait times, unclear policies, and unresponsive communication channels, creating frustration and distrust. Even routine banking tasks can become unnecessarily complicated due to outdated processes and poorly maintained platforms. Staff morale suffers as employees are often left to manage dissatisfied customers without proper guidance or authority to resolve problems. Overall, the organization exhibits systemic inefficiencies that impact everyone involved, leaving clients feeling neglected and staff overburdened. PC Financial’s inability to provide reliable service reflects poorly on its brand and undermines confidence in its operations. Urgent reforms and improved customer support are essential for restoring trust and operational efficiency.

Don't rely on Mastercard product

I got a PC Mastercard because I wanted a Mastercard product and I was already a user of the optimum program. I did not have the card very long, just a few months, when it was declined at the grocery store. I went on the app and it said the transaction was declined because the account was closed. So I called the number I was provided, and sat on hold for 45minutes before the call was answered, then on hold off and on for another 20 minutes. I was told that my card was identified as being part of a "mass compromise" two months earlier. Nobody communicated this to me, I did not receive a new card, and I was still able to use my "compromised" card for another 6-8 weeks, which doesn't seem like a very good way to protect clients from fraudulent charges. So I waited on hold again while they issued a new card to be sent to me. I was then told that the new card would be mailed within 7-10 business days, but Canada Post is on strike so it may be delayed. I asked why they were mailing it then, since other card companies are using more reliable methods (my VISA expires this month and the replacement card was couriered to my house). I was told that that's just what they do... cool. Terrible service compared to other cards I have.

Absolute worst customer service and wait times.

Absolute worst customer service.

Waiting on hold for hours. Had a claim denied when a seller from CHINA stole from me, great work PC I rarely use my credit card now only for emergencies and I will eventually cancel. As if you treat your customers like this. I was charged for something fraudulent sent to me that I actually even tried to return, shame on this company for standing up for sellers like this.

Your wait times are also ridiculous.

Worse then useless

Atrocious service and then take no responsibility for their mistakes or offer any viable solutions. Poor communication and an utter lack of accountability makes them unreliable and a liability.

STAY AWAY. THIS BANK DOES NOT FOLLOW FEDERAL REGULATION

They closed my account without notification. A violation of federal consumer protection standards.

Account closures need to be provided in writing.

Yet they still took my paycheck are restricting me to daily E transfers of 3k and offering a mailed cheque (canada post is on strike), this is unreasonable holding.

They have failed to provide reasonable access.

This is the worst banking experience of my life

If you know whats good for you, you won't even bother with this craziness. Unless you like staying on the phone for hours at a time, listening to same song on repeat.

Oh, and they also told me something different every time I called them. I've called this bank 4 times now about my account closure and STILL have not gotten a clear reason for my account closure. Neither have they released my funds.

They've effectively stolen thousands of dollars from me at this point.

I would give zero stars if I could. Don't bother with this company.

I applied for and received the PC Financial World Mastercard based on the offer of NO ANNUAL FEE. Even before I used it, the fee was applied to my account. I called and asked them to cancel the card due to the annual charge and they assured me it would be reversed on the next statement. It was not. I called again and was assured it would be reversed. 2 months later it still has NOT been reversed. I have contacted them several times online as I don't want to keep wasting an hour on the phone each time but now they just don't respond to my messages. Disgusting cutomer service and obviously a fake offer just to get my money. DON'T USE PC FINANCIAL.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS

I had a fraudulent charge on my Mastercard.. During the first phone call I was told that it was fraudulent and they would remove the charge..Got passed off to 4 people. Their fraud line doesn't work BTW. On the next call then they told me that no they can't do anything and I would have to get the money back myself and ask a fraudulent company to reverse the charges. These people don't know their job.. We had bank accounts with them previously and had nothing but problems. Nothing like being passed off to 4 people then they dont answer after being on the phone for an hour .AVOID..

Incompetent Customer Service

Waited for over an hour to resolve an issue about payment not showing up on their side. The customer service rep. put me on hold few times and then the last time it disconnected. I had to call back the same issue not resolved. They don't speak English and don't understand. I had to repeat the same question few times. I'm fed up and will cancel my Master Card. Very disappointed. The customer service doesn't exist anymore. They have outsourced to a third country who barely speaks English and can't resolve any issues.

Poor customer service

I am experiencing an issue where my PC Mastercard account has been flagged or locked, and the system provides only one resolution path: calling customer service. This is a dead end. I've wasted nearly an hour on hold over two separate attempts (45 minutes and 15 minutes), and my calls were never answered. The online messaging is unhelpful, simply telling me to go online, completely contradicting the instruction to call. This level of inaccessible and poor customer service makes it impossible to resolve account problems and is unacceptable.

Customer service is HORRIBLE. Stay away.

A few weeks ago they phoned me to let me know that my Mastercard had been compromised, they would cancel it and send me a new one in 7 to 10 business days. Considering that I only use this one credit card, that was a great inconvenience, but what could I do? It took a week and a half to receive my new card, during which time I was unable to pay my phone bill which will cost me a late charge. So with my new card in hand I went to the grocery store and at the checkout, with a full cart of groceries and people lined up behind me, was informed that my card was declined. So I phoned PCF again and was informed they were cancelling my new card and would offer no reason other than "for added security". They would send me my NEW new card in 7 to 10 business days. And now Canada Post is on strike. I phoned them AGAIN to ask if they could use a courier to get me my newest card faster and was told a flat out, rude, "absolutely not". Customer service is atrocious, they barely speak English; I cancelled my card and will be getting a Visa.
