P cloud is absolutely useless for apple users, I have t relaunch every time i use my MacBook. It has the spinning wheel forever and it stops you from force quitting. Unfortunately bought 500 gb, total waste of my time.

was recommended by ChatGPT. oh boy, AI really messed up this time. What a disappointment. Their migration from Dropbox failed, cancelled in the middle with no files transferred. wrote back for the 14-day money back guarantee and they didn't write back. STAY AWAY!

I chose pCloud after reading positive online reviews and being drawn to their affordable pricing plans. Though I’ve only used the service for a short time, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The platform is user-friendly, with features like secure file sharing and easy folder organization that make managing my files a breeze. I’ve been particularly impressed with pCloud’s customer service. When I was accidentally overcharged for my subscription, their support team was quick to respond, resolving the issue within a day and ensuring I was refunded promptly. Their professionalism and willingness to address my concern left a great impression. Overall, I’m very satisfied with pCloud’s reliable storage solution and excellent customer support, and I’d recommend it to anyone seeking affordable, secure cloud storage.

I've been a pCloud user for several years, and I can confidently say: this is one of the worst software experiences I’ve had. The desktop app is a complete disaster — it freezes constantly, consumes ridiculous amounts of RAM, and sometimes becomes completely unresponsive. I often can’t even kill the process without rebooting my Mac.
What’s worse? The app created a massive psync_err.log file that grew to over 724GB, clogging my storage without warning. I’ve had multiple versions of this issue — from 187GB to 200GB log files — all tied to pCloud Drive. And no, debug mode was not enabled.
I contacted their support team several times, followed every step they gave me (delete the app, delete the log, reinstall, reboot — rinse and repeat), and absolutely nothing helped. The issues persist, and the support responses are copy-paste templates with no real solutions.
This is unacceptable from a company that handles personal files and storage. How can I trust a cloud storage provider that can't even manage their own application's logs?
Enough is enough. I'm done. I’m switching back to Dropbox — it just works.

After the nightmare I had with Icedrive (slow speeds, random timeouts, unusable apps), moving to pCloud felt like upgrading from a rickshaw to a Tesla.
✅ What’s awesome:
Speeds are insane. I moved a 68GB password-protected ZIP file in one go, maxing out my 500Mbps connection without a single hiccup.
The desktop app is rock solid. The virtual drive feels like a native part of my OS, and syncing is smooth and predictable.
Lifetime plans are a steal. I got the 2TB Lifetime + 2TB Stack promo, and now cloud storage is just a one-time cost.
Crypto Folder for sensitive data. I love the extra layer of encryption where only I hold the key.
❌ Where they can improve:
Support is okay, but not great. Tickets get answered eventually, but I wish responses were quicker and more detailed for technical queries.
🚀 Final Verdict:
If you value speed, reliability, and long-term savings, pCloud is easily one of the best cloud storage options out there. Just don’t expect AWS-tier support, and you’ll be happy.
I am a user for around 3 years. Their service work as expected the significant majority of the time.
The reason I don’t give 5 stars is the bad UI all across their platform. Especially the Desktop app looks very dated. Also the fact that I cannot look at the thumbnails from my files in the encrypted folder on iOS, but from the desktop I can. There are these small nuances that give me a bitter state on a generally good product.

The service is an okay backup service but is really terrible as the "additional hard-drive" they say they are. Once uploaded, it is impossible to access the files again on the computer. I am very glad I did not opt for the lifetime service since I doubt I will keep this for very long.

I took a lifetime 2T subscription last week. Placed my data on PCloud and made a sync with my Lightroom map. Now this map is twice on my hardive, making it almost completely full. So contact with support; every answer takes two days.. Than they ask you for a screenshot, again 2 days. I'm getting crazy..
I see that PC cloud takes 350GB of my disk space. That's outside sync. I have a sync of 270GB that ads up to the 350GB. So my HD is full.. I'm in my fourth day of waiting for a reaction from Support. Only by mail, so that takes a while...
At the end it took me 3 weeks to get the solution from support.
I'm very happy with pCloud. I was thinking that all my data were lost due to a mishandling on my side. pCloud support was very efficent: they help be to retreive all my data very quickly! Thak you to pcloud team !
These guys are total scam artists. They take your money, close your account and blame it on violation of terms and conditions. The problem is, I got hit with that before I had even uploaded my first gigabyte of design content of the 2 TB on my external drive (maxing out at 400 KBs up on a 50mb connection). They won't answer you. They're only phone number is in Sweden and it's not connected to WhatsApp so you're going to pay $20 a minute to actually call them. They won't tell you why they banned you and they won't refund even some of your money even though in my case the year I had bought hadn't even began yet and I was still on the first month I paid for before the year. Total scam past these guys up.
I paid for the yearly 2TB Premuim Plus subscription half a year ago but then a few days ago, for no reason, they billed me for the Preimuim 500GB subscription (I have email receipt) and replaced it. So now my storage is "full" and im unable to upload anything. You would think I'm joking but I have screenshots proving it. I would just bite the bullet and pay for it again BUT I CAN'T because when I try to repurchase the 2TB plan, it says "You're already subscribed". A complete joke. They ignored the email I sent last week so now I'm here. A pathetic bunch of scammers all of them are. Currently trying to get back all the money I gave them from my bank.

The software is terrible, you get daily updates and it breaks something every single time and support are useless, I really wish I never bought the lifetime packages. Its very badly written software and support is just as bad as they wont help you fix your issues, how can they if the software is unworkable. I have issues right now and cant even stay logged in nor is the software even useable. Support ask you to do things which dont work and ask for unreasonable requests like adding developer tools. Do not buy
below the response says trustpilot information form but there is no way to know how to do this either. also we followed thier instructions and still issues persist, for example they asked to install beta, we did then we cant install normal version as beta does not uninstall properly. Have sent about 12 emails and no response and there is no other way to chat or call them. overall very bad experience

We are a small design team. We’ve been using pCloud for several years. We find it stable and easy to use – especially their Desktop app works seamlessly with, and looks just like, Mac OS Finder. Good service too... I had an issue last week with getting the Desktop app to work (which was a clash of my Mac operating system ,but pCloud respond very quickly, on a weekend, with a fix.
amazing experience. extremely secure site which allows upload of a variety of files. Service and response to queries is excellent. Keep it up.
I recently made a huge mess trying to change the login ID of my account. It looked like I reached the point of not return and considered my files lost. I emailed customer support and worked with Chris. I have nothing but good things about Pcloud’s customer service. Chris has been calm, patient, professional and skilled. All my files are accessible and my account was saved. Chris and PCloud folks, thank you again for helping me getting back on track.
I have, on April 11, bought pCloud “Family Plan - lifetime”. 399 Euro as a special offer.
PCloud is easy cloud storage and you can upload files from for example Dropbox automatically.
However, I tried to change my email address in pCloud and their system locked me out. Then I couldn’t access my account with all my files.
I didn’t hear anything from support for nearly 48 hours - not even an automatic response. The same day I wrote pCloud via Messenger- and I got a response that someone would be back to me asap.
An automatic response would have been nice, since I have felt very insecure and sad.
After 48 hours a support team has now contacted me and given me advice. However it’s a process, since their first advice didn’t help. But at least now we are in contact and I feel better.
FOLLOW UP! It is EXTREMELY frustrating to experience having support- and then you still need help, since the advice from support didn’t get me back into my account. After having sent more questions to support - no answer! I am desperate! And there is nothing you can do but to wait for them to get back. Now, this is 4 hours ago and still not a word 😢 How can pCloud just stop a support discussion that hasn’t solved my issues??? HELP!!!
Finally after waiting 4 days my account is activated. I paid € 49,99 for a year 500GB account but then received no order confirmation. I wished I would have made screenshots. But OK, now active. I tried to call Switzerland but could not reach them, reply on support mail took long in the beginning, now they answer mostly at night what feels like support team is certainly not in Switzerland but other side the world. I hope the rest and use of the functionality will satisfy.
