not working

It was incredibly frustrating to wait an unusually long time to upload files, only to be asked for an email for a confirmation that never arrived—not even in spam. There was no option to resend the confirmation, so I couldn't send my files. This wasted both my mobile data and time. I ended up using another provider, where everything worked smoothly and without complications.

I spent over 10 hours working on a file…

I spent over 10 hours working on a file saved in Pclod, but it has disappeared, and I haven't been able to recover it despite trying all available recovery methods. I've checked everything, but the file is nowhere to be found, even in the trash. It's incredibly frustrating to lose so many hours of work on a Word document and an Excel sheet, and now I have no idea where the files went. This is generally good storage, but be prepared for such things. I have been using this cloud for over 3 years and continuously experienced this.

Great Cloud Service with affordable price

What I love about their service is, they don't download all files to your computer. Only when you need something, or copy it to a local folder, it will be stored on your hard drive.
The only reason why I don't give 5 stars is that I have to look at the same "guides" every time you sign in to their website. Once I've shown how to upload a file, I kind of know how to. It would be great to have an option to disable this.

Beware!
pcloud is pure bulshit, harvests email-addresses for SPAMMING and does not serve its' claimed purpose!

I wanted to transfer a big file to my wife through a pcloud.link and signed up accordingly.
Me uploaded the file, a „picture dictionary“ and started to get promotional emails from pcloud on daily basis.
After about 3 day I wanted to log into that pcloud account to switch off the anoying promotional emails, just to discover that my account was no more, the file that I had uploaded was gone, claimed „deleted by user“. CRAP!!!

I have to conclude pcloud.link is a hoax page, only designed to harvest email-addresses for spamming!!!

Blocked account for undisclosed reasons

For my company, I had invested around 800 Euro on 10TBs of lifetime storage. A few days later, they terminated my account refusing to tell me why specifically, just a vague “you violated TOS”. A severe lack of communication and borderline a scam. Stay away and stick to mainstream cloud services.

Quite disappointed with faulty webdav connection

Quite disappointed. I'm TRYING to use pcloud as backup using webdav access. The connection is very unstable and only successfull after several attempts but reset regularly. Backing up data using webdav is very slow (2-5 mb/sec upload max., dropbox/onedrive 20-30 mb/sec) and keeps losing connection.

If I'd have known of this unreliable and faulty webdav setup at pcloud, I surely would not have bought the 5TB lifetime subscription.

I tried with several devices using several connections, they all show a very poor webdav performance.

Their customer support is reactive and friendly but can't fix the issue.

PCloud, do you have too many new users after blackfriday and your webdav servers can't handle it anymore?

I could not upload direct access to the drive on this new system Sequoia 15.1.1. I contacted pcloud support; WIthin 24h i received a detailed report one fulll page of all the steps and operations that I need to follow, and belevie me it was complex, but so clearly explained, that even a oldie like me could understand, follow, apply, and finallly I could have direct access. A wonderful team in SUpport PCLoud.

Excellent value for 2 TB Lifetime plan. Enjoy using virtual drive and access across all my devices. Nice to share certain folders and files with others. Also, helpful sales support from Daniel. Would highly recommend.

More bugs than beehive

Both my bookkeeper and I HAD synchronised our hard-drives via PCloud. PCLOUD corrupted the accounting software file so it wouldn't open, then PCloud instantly deleted the good copies on our drives and replaced with its corrupted version. We even had Excel files be corrupted by PCloud and lost in the same way. It is way too dangerous to use like that. As life time owner, I am stuck with it. I resolved this synchronising problem and PCloud ask me how did it. My current problems are it disconnects me about once a month and I have to sign it again. This is stupid because if someone hacks into my PCLOUD drive, they will instantly take a complete copy it. Why kick me off once a month! Not for the first time it currently it won’t let me sign is. NO explination given They have my mobile number and are suppose to send me an authorising text. Pcloud hasn't. So I am back on to technical support to try and sort it out. Last time this took about two weeks and about three differnt Pcloud people. They weren’t going let me back because they wanted proof I was the owner. I had send them my bank statement as proof of payment. Also, oddly, it won’t let you delete some files. Once deleted you can’t open them, they are still visable on the drive.

Not so good experience

Not so good experience. They are a firm organised to take peoples money. Do not use them. If you are able to pass the early stage you will not get anything back. I will never recommend them. I've taken my tides to Plan Re-mote . Very simple and easy on there.

A log-in nightmare

If you want to spend a large part of your life updating and rebooting your computer to log in to pCloud, then this is the place for you. In addition, they have an extremely slow transfer speed. I have a so-called "For Life" subscription, but I almost never use it because it's so much hassle to log in.

Works perfectly across 4 desktops and 2…

Works perfectly across 4 desktops and 2 android devices. I use it for regular offsite backups of critical work in progress. It's been 3 years now and the way the virtual drive works is really smart.
I don't recall any significant glitches or deal-breakers.
2TB plan. Would recommend.

It's not perfect, but it's good

I do encounter glitches here and there, the UI was not amazing before the update, sometimes I have to restart a huge uploads, some things are slightly confusing..
BUT
It does the job well. I can reliably transfer files to be synced to my PCs, send huge files and have a realiable backup for my computers.
The bset part is that I don't have monthly fees. Obviously I hope that pcloud lasts

Poor Customer Service

The actual service is good albeit slow at times. However the customer support is deficient. I have sent emails several times to see how to get my email address changed. The email I registered with is no longer active or accessible. I have explained this multiple times however I keep getting the same canned response - obvious they do not read what you send or are totally incompetent because they keep sending the instructions to the email account that is inactive and I cannot access!

"lifetime plan" until we decide otherwise

2-3 years ago I paid real big money for real big cloud storage as a "lifetime plan".
Recently, they decided to delete my account and any attempt to get in touch with customer service will return the same email. I quote it:

"Dear User,

The pCloud system on some occasions automatically checks for files that are reported for violations of pCloud s Terms and Conditions and automatically suspends those accounts.
As a result of this, your pCloud account has been disabled and you are no longer permitted to access the pCloud website or services.

Best regards,
pCloud Team"

They don't provide any proof, or evidence, or possible solution, just that: our automatic routines decided to delete your account, best regards
