PCL Sales specialise in the sale of hand and power tools. With occasional special purchases of various seasonal items as become available. If i can find a great deal that I think my customers will appreciate then I like to offers these in addition to my usual stock range. I can, within the realms of the types of tools I stock, obtain tools as a special order for customers. So, if you can't find it, then let me know and I'll try to help. Primarily the tools i sell are new and sold with a 12 month warranty. They come predominantly from abroad (China, USA, etc) and are not commonly found on the shelves of UK retailers. Whilst much of what I offer can be obtained from various online sources, these come without the warranty (most Chinese websites offer 90 days at most, sometimes less) and it can often be difficult for UK customers to negotiate the objections and sometimes outright avoidance by these website to comply with consumer rights. I take away the risk. This is done by offering the opportunity to see, feel and even try the tools before purchase to ensure satisfaction with functionality and quality. Additionally, I only sell brands I have tried myself and I am happy to endorse as being good value for money. I back this up with a warranty policy that if the item fails during the first 12 months of normal use then return it to me. I will replace (subject to stock availability, offer the purchase value as credit towards an alternative model, or a refund - I do this once I have verified the issue. This is a self-funded warranty and offered on the basis of honest selling and open communication with customers. Proof of purchase is required for any warranty claim. The majority of power tools offered are Chinese branded and are clones of Makita, Dewalt, Milwaukee, etc. Occasionally I get some genuine branded products in - often end of line models. Mostly I do not have the buying volume to compete with the national retail chains, so I stick to offering the brands they don't. After some trial and error I have found a selection of brands which I bel3ive to be sound quality and fair value at their price point. I offer these at significantly lower prices than their brand name alternatives. Additionally to the new tools, I have started to offer a few selected used items. These are obtained locally by myself after thorough inspection and confirmation (as far as I can do) of good working order. These are sold as seen, and I welcome customers to make their own inspection to ensure satisfaction regarding condition and working order. If a used item is sold on a mail-order basis and found to not work, or have significant defects (cosmetic condition is not considered a significant defect and will be clearly shown in pictures prior to purchase) then a refund will, of coursez be offered upon return. I do not cover return postage fees. Buyer is responsible for postage costs upon purchase. I only send via tracked and insured methods, postage costs are advised before sale is agreed. As well as the tools, I stock a range of accessories, gadgets, gifts and toys. These vary in number depending on availability and stock space. I operate from Cheddar market (BS27 3RP) every Sunday morning, you'll find me inside the big barn from 1st Sunday February to last Sunday before Christmas. Additionally, I have my own website (www.pclsales.co.uk) and can be found on Facebook Marketplace and a variety of Facebook selling groups around the Somerset area. This is a part-time business at present, so I'm available evenings and weekends. Online sales collection can be from Weston-super-Mare or, by prior arrangement, from Cheddar Market on Sunday mornings (7am to 1pm). Payment can be taken by way of all major credit and debit cards (including Apple and Google Pay), cash, bank transfer or PayPal. For online sales I can provide by email a full invoice with a live payment link by which all the usual online payment methods can be used. Please note, I DO NOT accept cheques unless you are will to wait for the funds to fully clear in my account before collection / dispatch of your order.
