This is the second time I have had cause to use PCVW. I was so impressed with Carol who composed my first CV that it was a no brainer to use them again when it needed updating.
This time I was put in the capable hands of Nigel and the service and end product was once again of the highest quality.
I hope that I never need to use PCVW ltd again for obvious reasons but if anyone I knows needs a CV written then I would have no hesitation in recommending their services.

I had a CV and LinkedIn profile written by Carol.
My experience was amazing from the start until the end.

From start to finish an amazing service and the final product...incredible. Claire is a diamond in a haystack. I was so afraid that this would be a massive regret as I have had work done by other companies in the past which was an absolute apology. PCVW Ltd is a service above the rest. Claire could not do enough for me and even after the final production she has left the door open for revision whenever I need it... My CV and cover letter is so amazing, there's no way on earth I could have done it on my own, even gave me advice on how to further my career...Now where in the world would you find that?

Very wary of paying for this type of service but due to time constraints and needing an external perspective, decided to take a chance.

It felt like a leap of faith choosing a company to help me update my CV and I'm glad I chose PCVW. Having placed my order, I was connected with Nigel who set out clear timelines on draft and finished document, before engaging to review my as was CV, aspirations and what message was hoping to convey. Following that discussion I had a draft within a few days and feedback with regard to what sort of updates I needed to make for myself in LinkedIn. Over the course of a couple of weeks I ended up with a CV that had a general underlying similarity, but it was vastly improved as a means to sell me to prospective employers. Using it and additional guidance from Nigel, it has generated interviews and I have landed a new role in a tough environment. I knew it needed doing but really didn't know how to go about it to ensure compliance with ATS, and to sell me. I can't recommend highly enough.

My allocated writer - Becky was friendly, efficient, a great listener, very patient and provided me with great guidance and advise, she went through my complete personal & career history and picked up on the smallest of details that were relevant.

I had a great experience, really efficient, easy to use portal and good communication with quick turnaround times. Although I'm not entirely fixed on my next role Louise really helped me shape my CV and cover letter in to something which I can use, adapt and test. Im really pleased with both and feel Louise has provided a CV which now represents me, as well as capturing my skills, experience and values.

I used this company previously and got a new job, I have just had my CV updated with my latest role and service was very quick, very thorough and even though I was only adding one new role my CV has been refreshed throughout, thank you yet again for a brilliant service.

Mixed bag. Louise, the consultant, was really professional, engaging, and produced redrafts of content and the first edition all inside the SLA timings. As I was only speculatively looking for a CV rewrite, without the need for finding immediate or short-term employment, this was ideal. The hour-long call was great - I was slightly surprised there wasn't a follow-up session, as the package included 90-120 mins consultation - and the content of the CV first time round was impressive on first viewing. The problem ultimately is that it doesn't fulfil the core requirement of being fit for purpose - it matches poorly (<25%) for most adverts on ATS, and when run through other CV review sites, it maps at being most applicable for junior admin roles, not even remotely close to the target level. It needs significant (multiple hours+) rewrites each time, usually using Jobscan (incl. additional sub to that tool). It's important to acknowledge that you tailor for every advert, but this requires redrafts so substantial that it defeats the point of a paid-for CV.

The CV-only service itself is ok - but the Covering Letter was unusable. One sentence said I'd had a "wholesome career", which just doesn't make sense at all. I wouldn't recommend this in any package that you buy.
