Like the review here written by Kate. I also purchased a 50p download then discovered £39.90 had been taken from my bank account, like kate I hadn't read the details about membership.
There apparently is no refund for a service I no longer need it was just a one off purchase, I would have been happier to have initially paid more for the original download. I think you should be given an option to have a membership or not.
I sent a few emails to the company which were not answered. I phoned this morning about this matter stating I did not want a membership and was told I would be sent a confirmation email, I am awaiting this. Just to let people be aware of this before purchasing
I purchased a self certificate for sickness and have ended up paying £40.30 for it

In a rush, I gave my card details for what I thought was a one off fee of £0.50. 48 hours later and without any email notifications - I was charged £39. That's mighty expensive for creating a single pdf. It does say on their website "monthly subscription" so I can't get a refund. Wish I had seen these reviews beforehand

Scam company; Unauthorized Charges to my account
Like many of the other users/victims, I was charged $39.90 USD for a product that didn't even work. I provided my card details, but only for one-time use at $.50 USD. I sent an email (3/24/24) that same day requesting to cancel my account/subscription but never heard back. I tried to telephone, but got an automated message saying that the # is no longer in service and to dial 611. I can't even access my account any longer because my password no longer works and when I requested a reset, the Reset Button and link don't work either. This company is a complete scam and fraud. Do not use them under any circumstances.

Unauthorized charges. I did not choose to subscribe to anything from them. I made a one off payment of £0.50 for one document I did not give the right to my details being used to start any sort of subscription . Didn't see any information that after 48h I'll be charged for £39.99 for subscription. No email stating that I was in rolled into a subscription, Called to be told my pending payment would be cancelled. Total lie ! Called back to be told I'm not entitled to get a refund . Person on phone was rude & poor customer service , doesn’t surprise me what so ever they have their £39.99 Now . They don’t even give you an account to login in , to cancel your unknown subscription . Very sneaky way to scam people. Highly NOT recommend!

Cannot be trusted ( Security risk )
The staff suggests to remote login on your computer to "activate" the software. After uninstall "PDF PRO" leaves hidden files on the PC. Staff either lies or are uninformed that PDF PRO has malware/adware installed with it. When signing up for the PDF pro, additional software is downloaded that you do not opt in for. Software installed with PDF PRO attempts to make additional installations in the background without any notification.
PS: Don't thank me for my confidence. I don't have any confidence in your software. Almost looks like we are wasting our time here, talking to a bot that has the same response for everyone.
After installation of their software, this popup started showing up on my Security software. Malware

Also, upon checking WHOis info, there are lot's of different websites which are tied to the same IP. Asked to cancel 3 times already, but their representative keeps bargaining with me, offering partial refund and upgrades. As if I want to have malware on my computer for any amount of money. Basically stay away from these guys. Get a trusted PDF editor. This one isn't.

Rubbish - ridiculously expensive for something that doesn’t work
This does not do as it advertises I tried to convert a pdf table to an excel table and it did not convert with the correct information in the correct columns. I t was not made very clear to me that after 48 hrs they would be drawing £39.30 EVERY MONTH. They are refusing to refund the month the gave already taken and I am unable to get into the app to cancel any future payments which will total £471.60 per year !!! They have asked if I want future subs cancelled but their attitude does not give me faith that it will happen. I have been unable to access the account to do it myself

CHARGED DESPITE UNSUBSCRIBING WITHIN THE TIME
I paid the 50p for the trial package. On review realised the app was not suitable for my requirements. Unsubscribed withing the allotted period but still was charged £39.99 48 hours later.
On checking my emails the company had sent me 4 trial offers to the same email address. I was unaware of this and only unsubscribed to the 1 I was aware of.
Today my account was debited for £39.99 and on questioning the service department have advised zi must wait 48 hours for a response to my complaint and claim for the £39.99 to be refunded...
