The PDF Index Generator's functionality-nested interface is both intuitively assuring and understandable, hence it is efficiently operable. The output is reliably flawless and fast. The resulting linkages between the indexed words/terms and the body of the document (book) are both consistently accurate and, when properly constructed, they are efficiently targeted to the context suggested in the index.

This program saves me hours of indexing work. I have used the program over several years and it does in a few minutes what would take me almost a day to do. There are updates but they keep to the same main steps, so I do not have to relearn each time

Pdf generator is a great tool to generate index which is otherwise very time consuming and expensive. Pdf generator team is extremely helpful in solving any problems faced. A great team and a great product.

I have now used PDF Index generator for three scholarly reference volumes. In all three cases, the software functioned superbly. East book had different indexing challenges, but the versatility of PDFIG always rose to the occasion. In all cases, the text involved the use of English, Spanish, and Maya vocabulary. Most recently, I was indexing numerous names, in English and Spanish. PDFIG provides the capability to quickly note a name in the text such as Walter Robert Thurmond Witschey, and, if English, index it as Witschey, Walter Robert Thurmond, or if Spanish, index it as Thurmond Witschey, Walter Robert. The multilevel topic index handling was a lifesaver. Indexing is terribly labor intensive, and dependent on author knowledge of complex topics. I could not have done the work without this superb software, and the personal support on occasion of it author Hesham Gneady.

This is great software. Easy to use and flexible.

Works okay but the trial relies on the usual hook of only indexing the first 10 pages. Then you find out it is far too expensive to purchase for something you might only use once, then never again. Even with the queries it tends to index a lot of superfluous words. I have actually found it easier to manually go through each page and note each noun in Notepad than try to sift through the many superfluous things that this app compiles.

I'm a publishing graphic designer and don't do indexing often, but this program is exactly what I need to do the indexing. Simple to use, and whenever I need support the staff are fast and very helpful. Will definitely recommend.

This is a brilliant piece of software. If you need to index ANYTHING that is in PDF form then this is the best software solution. I have tried many different ones including plugins for Indesign like Virginia Systems but they are much more expensive and work much less well.
The functionality of this app is excellent and you can set it up to build a database of ignored words so that the results get better over time.
The software works in Windows and Mac perfectly well.
Well worth the price if doing any kind of indexing.
Oh and really good customer support too – all my questions in the last few years have been answered clearly and very fast.
