On February 2nd 2024 I ordered a free trial of pdf Master, Unfortunately it kept given me error messages so I uninstalled the app and canceled my subscription within a couple of hours. On February 08 2024 my PayPal account was charged $49.99. I immediately tried to contact pdf Master all I got was a messages stating that all representatives were unavailable but give us your email address and someone will contact you. I tried to reach someone in person 8 times to no avail.
About an hour later I received an email stating that I never canceled my subscription however they will cancel my future subscriptions but not refund my $49.99 they charged me.
I have since contacted PayPal and they stated they were refunding me my $49.99. Hopefully they will come through with the refund.
This seems to be a consistent complaint regarding this company. They tell you you didn't cancel your subscription and go ahead and charge you and there is no one to speak to live, no matter how many times you call or what time you call. All in all very suspicious and a scam in my opinion. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU CAN, THEY'LL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE YOU HANGING.

Don’t use PDFmaster app
I paid 1.37 CAD to revise my pdf file quickly 1 time and after a week they charged me for 68 CAD. The app also ruined my original file. I sent them an email requested refund due to technical issue. They refunded the money.
However, I’ll never use this app again.

Here is a copy of my email to this mob: 'Money back please. I just noticed on my credit card statement that you have charged me $76.90 for a subscription I did not request or authorise... I asked for one off help with electronically signing a document for a very small fee. You have misused my credit card details to sign me up. Refund please. They gave my refund after nearly 2 months of chasing them and my bank. Nothing more to say. Only used it once and wont need it anymore thats why i didnt intend to get the subscription.

Avoid these criminals
The first I heard of this company was fraudulent charges on my credit card. They claim, but offer no proof, of a subscription to their service. The claim to, but do not, offer full refunds for the fraudulent subscription services they billed to my credit card. They claim I signed up for their service in October of 2023, the fraud was detected months later. I certainly did not handle the fraud as quickly as I should have for various reasons. They offer no alternative other than they stole my money and are happy that they did. They can simply refund the money as the "service" they claim to offer was never used, but they refuse. I highly recommend that you avoid using this criminal enterprise for your own cyber safety. I have no idea how they got my credit card, but it will not happen again.

Scammed like everyone else. Pay $7nz charged monthly $80.
I learned they use tokens through Apple Pay. So even. After cancelling the card they can attach to your new card. I didn’t even have the new card on Apple Pay!
Talked to the bank, they have deleted the tokens and issued another card. I’ll try getting it off them. Otherwise the bank will sort it.

$50 trial fee. No way to cancel. Email them or file dispute for refund.
They will scam you with a $50 dollar fee after free trial. There is no way to cancel except by sending them an email and they make a fuss.
Update:
You can get a refund fairly quickly by emailing them on refund email. The only way for me to find this email was by trying to open a dispute with PayPal. So they are aware that a good portion of their users hit an issue with the trial. It’s a shame as the product is good.

I just need to edit a few documents at the start of every year. I don't need a PDF editor all year long for 25 dollars a month. The ability to use PDF Master for a week at a time suits my small business perfectly. It worked simply with easy instructions. No hassle no argument. I will do this one again and again.

UNSCRUPULOUS COMPANY. In their Refund Policy, they mentioned that in order to get a refund, you need to provide evidence. I sent a video where my image was clearly not inserting in the PDF. Now they are saying that I should have waited longer. I actually already tried that?
Clearly, it was not working for me at the time that I needed it. But they're really holding on to my $49.99 and still refuse to give me a refund - EVEN AFTER I SUBMITTED CONCRETE EVIDENCE OF IT NOT WORKING. I complied with their requirements, yet, they refuse to give me my refund.
Now they're offering me a Lifetime Plan that I didn't even ask for! Just give me my refund you crooks!
Edit - This company responded to my comment saying, they "promptly solved the situation for me." LIARS. Promptly?!
I'm looking at our email correspondence now. I responded to their email on January 30, 2024. I never heard back from them, so I sent another follow up on Feb 5.They did not respond until Feb 13. That's almost 2 weeks! What kind of company responds to support requests after 2 weeks??!
They gave me back the $0.99 cents refund, but I had to reach out to PayPal to revert the $49.99 charge.

Disgusting scam
Disgusting scam. They will subscribe you without your knowledge after you pay a $1 fee for what you believe to be a once off service and then, without your consent, charge you a $50US monthly fee. When I told them to unsubscribe me, the "customer care" person said there was no account linked to my email address and asked for my credit card number to attempt to assist finding my account. I suggest you avoid PDF master.

Would give no stars if option. I’m appalled that despite numerous emails and requests to cancel they keep taking money. I have issued a court order. Nothing irritates me more that scam artists like this. Absolutely disgraceful.
