An expensive but no bullcrap approach.

PD Mangan is just a real no bullcrap guy. He will change your life and the way you look at food.

The price is higher than I would have wanted as I just wanted information.

However - he cuts through all of the bogus on YT and in fitness circles with genuine science backed information and his growing list of success stories at HIS AGE should be all you need to know it just works and it's low effort. I lost 47 lbs in 16 weeks. I could have lost even more if I'd wanted to. An hour a week in the gym and never hungry - exactly what he promised.

Warning: you will need to buy a new wardrobe!

First, the bad... you will have to spend money buying new clothes that fit because the ones you are wearing while you read this will be too loose and baggy.

On to the good... Coaching with PD is, and this is a literal statement, LIFE CHANGING. 48 y/o male, 30 pounds gone in 4 months, and still gone a year later. I think I'm gonna take 10 more soon, and I don't need PD's help doing it because he already gave me all the tools I need.

My doctor said at my last physical where I got an almost perfect score on the cardiovascular health test "I don't know what you did, but keep doing it." I get remarks constantly about how I seem and look healthier. I am about to get a black belt in karate and I outperform many of the teens and 20 year olds in my class.

It's easy to do a LOT of things when you are not carrying extra weight around. PD teaches you how to build muscle, lose fat, and absolutely the most important... BE HEALTHY in a society that makes money off you NOT being healthy, and wants you to stay that way.

You have two choices. Continue to get leeched on by Big Food and Big Pharma while you feel and look bad, or break the cycle now and improve your life forever. After marrying my wife it's the best decision I've ever made.

And all that aside... I mean, just look at the man!

The Real Deal

I did PD Mangan’s 1:1 coaching program three years ago, and I’m still following the plan religiously. It was one of the best health investments I’ve made. He tailored the exercise program to fit my frequent travel schedule across three locations, and over time I’ve refined it into a simple, effective routine using just dumbbells and a dip/pull-up tower—perfect even in hotel gyms.

The changes have been remarkable. While I was never significantly overweight, the combination of his dietary guidance and training protocol has completely reshaped my physique. At 60, I regularly receive compliments on my posture and appearance, and—more importantly—I feel strong, energized, and confident that I am extending my healthspan.

The program has been truly invaluable. It is the real deal!

PD Mangan knows his stuff!!

PD Mangan has an excellent knowledge of how to most effectively and efficiently exercise for maximum benefits. In addition, his in depth knowledge of physical anatomy, diet, and how the body works physically and chemically never ceases to amaze me.
He is also very approachable and quick to answer any questions or issues i have had.

Busy dad needed help

I am a 51 year old entrepreneur with 3 active teens. I have competed in 40 triathlons, 5+ years of CrossFit and/or HIIT, competed in World BJJ tournaments and ridden around the circumference of the globe twice on my peloton.
I controlled my weight for the last 20 years with activity. If I was in the height of a competition, I would go from 200 to 180 and then back again the moment the even was over. It would take extreme effort to drop weight. This is all to say I was extremely skeptical that now that I am a glorified uber driver sports dad that I could lose weight by only working out for an hour a week.
I was wrong.
I was desperate to find a better solution than struggling with my diet because I started snoring so badly that my wife couldn’t sleep. I even tried all the SnoreLab gimmicks, potions and pillows and nothing worked. I was beyond skeptical but said I would try it for a month to prove I couldn’t be done.
I’m 5’9” and was 207 when I started. I bounced between 195 and 205 for months before my call with PD. I stepped on the scale 3 weeks ago at 203 and serious about finding a better long term solution. I mapped out all the food and exercise and dove in. I haven’t been perfect but stopped all the bad eating habits and replaced with his.
I was 189 this morning but have gone from squeezing into 36 in pants to a 34, having more energy, not craving more food and I haven’t snored in a week.
I’m stunned what has happened in 3 weeks and I will say that wish I had started this years ago. My wife and girls were skeptical at best and now everyone is starting to eat healthier.

Serious about a new life? PD will get you there for good

If really ready to change your life PD will show you the way. While the coaching approach is quite hands off and method simple, its all focused on the highest payoff methods that reward your time and commitment while being fully adherable. If you can do even more than the basic and follow the full life changes that PD shows really work, you can change your physical state for good while not sacrificing any pleasures such as a nice meal with friends once in a while or a steak and glass of red wine if that's your thing. Stats:
Feb 2024 age 39 5'10". 84kg, Arm 35cm Chest 104cm, Hip 105cm, Mid 100cm, Leg 66cm. Approx 28-35% fat.
July 2025 age 40 74kg, arm 32cm, chest 91cm, hip 91cm, mid 84cm, leg 54cm. Approx 15-18% fat.

Visible abs and no more belly for the first time in my life. Even have that v shape thing I thought only Hollywood trainers can get you. Ate pizza (real sourdough yeast fresh cheese) on the weekends but normally a protein fat rich diet of whole natural foods without much sacrifice and keep to a max 9hour window, some days 6 hours. If you can retrain your brainwashed self to see the poison that modern processed food is, it is so easy to give it all up 100% and live and eat like we were naturally meant to. That's what's so great about PDs approach is that it's not some super complex strict regimen but a whole philosophy that becomes part of your life when you stray from it you know something is wrong, and this positivity also spreads also to other areas of personal habit. I have adapted most of his methods to be done at home with simple setup of just kettlebells and a pull-up bar, while bodyweight and good bands keep me always on some routine when I'm perpetually on the road living out of hotels for months.

YOU MUST BE READY. The hard work will be done by you. Some might find the price costly given the amount of free info out there but for me paying it almost like a commitment to myself and something I would not just give up on after a couple weeks like I had done so many times in my life with freely available stuff. Without any pain from non adherence then it's so much easier to make excuses and stall your own progress. Putting a cost and a time goal in front of you helps to keep the momentum towards it even if you stray a bit.

Thank you Dennis, my goal when I met you was to be in the best shape of my life for my 40th birthday last week. It took about 3-4 months for most of the progress and then 1yr+ of maintenance since. Not only am I there but I'm going to be fit for the rest of my life.

Very happy with results

I am a 50-year old female and I put on 20 pounds over the past 2 years. I had joined a gym and was going 4-5x/week lifting heavy and not having any success with weight loss. I found P.D. on X/Twitter and followed him for a while and was impressed with his transformation as well as his clients' testimonials. Out of frustration with my own weight loss plateau, I signed up for coaching. With his guidance, I made small changes to my diet and reduced my workouts to 2x/week and dropped the weight. His method is so simple I cannot believe I didn't stumble over it on my own. What I love best is that I am able to do his recommended workouts in my modest home gym allowing me to drop my gym membership which saved me time and money. His meal plans are exactly what I needed and I have tweaked them to suit my specific tastes and needs. I am grateful to P.D. for showing me how simple weight loss and building muscle can be. You don't need to cut excess calories or spend hours in the gym to see results. Another bonus is that once you learn the key to weight loss, you can incorporate it into your daily habits at any time. I've had weekends of over indulgence but I'm able to get right back on track and lose the weight the following week. This is a game changer for me. I highly recommend working with P.D.

Coach is a fountain of knowledge who…

Coach is a fountain of knowledge who not only knows his stuff but lives it. I was able to lose 17 pounds in 3 months working with him while drastically lowering the amount of time I spent in the gym. He is extremely responsive and looks to help in any way he can.

Wonderful program with clear results

I truly enjoyed P.D. Mangan’s 1-on-1 coaching program! The entire process from onboarding, to weekly assigned video reviews, to the actual program (diet, exercise, and much more) was truly a life changing experience. Everything is intuitively structured and easy to follow. P.D. takes the time to get to know his clients and responds quickly to their needs and questions, and he tailors the program to each person. He helped me lose over 30lbs with some reframing about cooking/diet, workout protocols, and a host of other health and mindset advice. He is incredible well versed on the latest in supplements and all social media workout trends and can help you navigate what’s best for you. This has been a truly great experience and the results are clear and ever-growing. I am very thankful for P.D. and highly recommend his coaching for those looking to make positive health changes in their lives.

Money and time well spent!

I completed PD's 1-on-1 Coaching program and I am thrilled with the investment and outcome. The program was well designed and easy to follow. By the end of the program, I really felt like I internalized the principles and guidelines that underpin PD's approach. I also received a great education in the research and ideas that inform his perspective, which was invaluable. Furthermore, the scheduled calls throughout the program were really helpful as it provided an opportunity to dive deeper into areas in which I had a particular interest. During our calls or email exchanges he always provided detailed and thorough responses to my questions. Throughout the program he was clearly focused on helping me pursue my goals. In fact, he encouraged me to shoot beyond what had been my initial weight loss goals, which I thought was overly ambitious. However, it turned out that he was right! I am grateful that I made the choice to work with PD and, as many have observed, my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.

Excellent Coaching - Superior Results

I have been working with Dennis for going on 3 months now and without a doubt this has been the most impactful health decision I have made in my life.

I have tried other programs before with mixed success, I found I would be good for a while then just fall back into old habits. The workouts and diet plans didn’t hit in a sustainable way.

The key difference I have found with Dennis is the balance he strikes between the appropriate level of exercise based on your goals (for me this is fat loss).

In three months I have lost 20lbs and nearly 6” off my midsection all while maintaining my muscle. Because of the excellent coaching and guidance I’ve received I’ve managed to keep on muscle, and gained a renewed energy.

Dennis also provides excellent supplemental modules to broaden your knowledge that work synergistically with the workout and meal plans. Topics include insulin control, fasting and others that helped me make the transition to a new healthier lifestyle.

On top of all that he’s there supporting and encouraging you all the way - the only thing you need to bring to the table is the belief that you can make a big change and you will succeed with Dennis’s coaching.

The Mangan Program is Life Changing

The Mangan program has been life-changing for me. I am at my lowest weight in decades, have a surge in energy, and have adopted habits that I feel I can continue for the rest of my life. Not only do I feel physically better, but my mood is much more positive. The diet works because I can eat and not feel like I'm being punished and craving something else. The exercise program is focused and efficient, and I can see my body composition changing. I highly recommend P.D. to anyone who is serious about improving their health.

This is the first negative review I’ve ever received, after 10+ years coaching over 1400 men and women.

I was blindsided by it to be honest, because I haven’t heard from this person in 2+years, and I’ve done a tremendous amount of work with and for her (before she disappeared on me, never to return until leaving this review, 2+ years later),

Now I know you’re reading this because you’re considering signing up for coaching with me.

So allow me to share the full G story with you (respecting her privacy and not sharing her full name), to help you assess if I’m the right person to help you in your metabolic health, weight loss and body recomposition journey…

Long story short:

It’s true that G didn’t lose weight.

But she wasn’t transparent about her life and actions.

She didn’t share the fact that she only logged 1 workout over 4+ months, and she certainly didn’t say anything about the self-sabotage behaviour she was unfortunately struggling with. In hindsight, it’s clear to me that she needed addiction counselling, not health and fitness coaching.

My message to you, dear reader, is that if you suspect you have a relationship with food that borders on addiction, it’s better to get help with addiction that to hire me as your body transformation coach.

G was a unique client in the life of my coaching practice, and I have completely transformed my screening process as a result, which has helped me avoid running into situations like hers, where I am not the right person to help someone like her, who really should be seeking addiction counselling.

Unfortunately, while she was client (and before she disappeared on me) no matter what I tried to get G to implement, her self-sabotage never stopped.

Sadly, she stopped replying to my messages and disappeared, only to reappear now, 2 years later, claiming she didn’t get tons of help, support and guidance and forgetting that she has a coach in her corner rooting for her, catering to every stated need or concern.

For completeness, I will directly reply to G’s two allegations, and share what I am doing differently based on the lessons learned.

Allegation #1: “lost not a single pound”

True: she gained weight. 4 pounds over the first 4 weeks alone.

I’ve never seen anting like it before, or after her.

I can’t speak for G but what I observed was self-sabotage, or what others might label self-destructive behavior.
 
Now unto the second claim:

Allegation #2: “ The client one on one consultation was minimal and frankly unsatisfactory.”

While she was a client, G engaged on and off with the program, would disappear for long periods of time, not replying to my many attempts to get in touch with her to understand how she was progressing and offer assistance to tweak anything that may have needed tweaking.

Despite my best effort and dozens of attempts to communicate specific advice and general insights, G did not / would not implement. She unfortunately repeatedly made choices that didn’t serve her health, sabotaging any possible progress, and as stated earlier, even gaining weight during a weight loss program she signed up for.

I am certain that if G implemented my guidance, it  would have produced the same kind of fat loss results my clients typically get, as you can see in 50+ other reviews.

The best investment you'll ever make

PD is an amazing and supportive coach. His program just makes sense - he cuts through all the noise and provides a very clear and comprehensive exercise and dietary / lifestyle program that works. He believes in a minimum effective dose approach that minimizes risk, time in the gym, fatigue and hunger and maximizes fat loss, muscle retention (and gains) and energy for the rest of your life. He goes so far as to provide delicious and customized meal plans and shopping lists. His program also educates you on health, nutrition and exercise and arms you for a lifelong sustainable self directed program when your coaching ends. He checks in constantly, is generous with his time and knowledge and also creates accountability. He - and his program - way exceeded my expectations and even hopes and I was able to hit all of my goals and success metrics well before the end of the program which then shows me to progress much further than I imagined I could. People like PD are a treasure and his program is the best investment you'll ever make.

The formula works

This coaching was on point and productive. PD is 70 years old, he himself experienced what work and what doesn't, you can't beat experience and lesson learned for fast results! When I was ready for this journey, I had the choice among many fitness/health coaches, but to me it came down to finding the best with the most knowledge/experience combo. It's not just about loosing weight, it's how to live an healthy lifestyle the simple way and for the long run. My vision was to drop 25lbs, I ended up being at my optimal weight/height ratio and loosing 50lbs, from 230lbs to 180lbs (height: 6'1) at 49. I recommend PD 100% end of story!

Worth the money.

Have been working with PD for about 8 weeks, give or take. In those 8 weeks I have seen more improvement in my health than at any point in the last 01 years. He’s is uber professional, supported by evidence and not afraid to be an outlier from the ‘norm.’ The changes made have always had a big impact on me, looking forward to future developments. Highly recommended if your serious about getting a healthy system in place for life.
