I’d give less than 1 star if possible

I’d give less than 1 star if possible. They are scammers and now they have managed to make it this far is ridiculous. They penalise and rip small businesses off. They set unrealistic metrics and without warning terminate your contract then charge you. Please what ever you do don’t fall for their so called revenue or profit information it’s all lies. They don’t offer support or help you in anyway. They will go bust in a few years trust me. Save yourself the headache and avoid the at all costs. Just read all the reviews you see on here.

Stay well clear

Stay well clear, managed to run at a loss even with £2k+ a week turnover for two months. Lots of hidden fees, poor/no communication, unchallengeable charges from everything. Their own GP% calculations prove you cannot make a profit.

Cancellation a nightmare, still getting ‘weekly updates’ telling me made up figures each week (now been offline for 2 months).

Don't (under any circumstance) become partner with Peckwater…

Don't become partner with Peckwater Brand, 0 customer support and customer service.

You just get a NO CALLER ID call to speak to someone.

They are unclear about everything, and when I came to cancel, rather than emailing me or telling me they charged an old card £3000 without discussion.

CEO Sam Martin is absolutely useless and all he cares about is doing over a small family business

Please, do NOT set up with them under any circumstance, the dream of £3000 weekly sales its all a joke.

Non-Transparent Billing and Unresponsive - Beware for Small Businesses

I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with Peckwater Brands, and I feel compelled to warn other small businesses. Over the course of our partnership, we recorded sales of £1270.22. However, their statements consistently showed deductions and charges—totalling £553.67 as of my last communication—without any explanation of what these charges were for or what the outstanding balance was. This lack of transparency is unacceptable for any business, let alone one working with small traders who rely on clear financials.

I reached out multiple times to both their support team and a representative named Joseph, requesting a detailed breakdown of the charges. I even gave them a 48-hour deadline to respond, warning that I would escalate the matter if they failed to provide clarity. As of June 05, 2025, well over 48 hours have passed since my deadline, and I have received absolutely no response. I have screenshots of my conversations with their support team, which show their complete disregard for my concerns.

This isn’t an isolated incident—Peckwater Brands has multiple negative reviews on other social platform highlighting similar issues with transparency and poor customer service. It’s clear this is a pattern of behaviour. As a small business, I can’t afford to have funds deducted without justification, and their unresponsiveness has left me no choice but to take action.

I’ve now escalated this to Trading Standards for investigation, and I’m preparing to file a claim in small claims court to recover the money they owe me. I’m also launching a social media campaign to ensure other small businesses are aware of their practices. I strongly advise any small trader to think twice before working with Peckwater Brands—unless they address their transparency and communication issues, you risk facing the same problems I have.

1/5 stars. I wouldn’t recommend Peckwater Brands to anyone until they change their ways.

Information on their website incuding the owners and the team is out of date. Most of those brands They sau they do are not available. Their virtual restaurant's ratings are on the floor. Check it out to find out for yourself.
All they do is to take your money and provide nothing. When their brand does not do well They will remove it and You ll be left with nothing.

Great Support and Experience So Far

We have just started working with Peckwater recently and the support they have provided so far has been great. I worked with another virtual brands company for a while but they did not help me when I had problems and left me to figure everything out myself, I had a dedicated trainer for 12 weeks after launch, Marc who really looked after me and called me regularly to see if I needed anything. I really like the fact I didn't need to buy much equipment and the mexican menu tastes great!

Don’t work here or partner with them!

Working at Peckwater Brands was one of the worst professional experiences of my life. From the very start, there was a complete lack of care and direction for new starters. No sustained onboardings, no sustained targets, no frequent one-to-ones, and no clear path for progression. It was like being thrown into a pit and left to fend for yourself, only to be blamed later for not magically meeting unspoken expectations. The environment is brutal and incredibly toxic. The CEO, Sam, is at the center of everything, and not in a good way. He micromanages every decision, leaving no room for other leaders to have opinions or make impactful contributions. Reporting and decisions are driven solely by the need to appease Sam, who strikes fear into everyone around him. Senior leadership is essentially a group of people too scared to challenge him, with the exception of a rare few. There’s no collaboration or real strategy, just fear-based decision-making. The retention rate is abysmal, which speaks volumes. There’s a constant churn of employees, and the solution to every problem seems to be firing or sacking people rather than addressing the root issues. No effort is made to support or develop staff, which makes it clear that worker well-being is not a priority. It’s a “churn and burn” culture that leaves employees mentally drained and undervalued. For future investors, I’d seriously urge you to reconsider putting money into this company. If the workers are not happy (and I guarantee you, they’re not), the business will ultimately fail. Workers are the backbone of any company, and Peckwater Brands seems to have forgotten that entirely. Sam, you need to take a long, hard look in the mirror. Your ego is driving this company into the ground. Your way is not always the right way, and until you learn to trust and value your employees, Peckwater Brands will remain a toxic and unsustainable workplace. This was truly one of the worst companies I’ve worked for in any industry. If you’re considering joining, I’d strongly advise against it unless there are massive changes in leadership and culture. I would also take all the glassdoor reviews very seriously before joining, as it was a massive mistake on my part to avoid these and join this toxic company anyway!
Advice to Management
Advice to Management: 1. Focus on Employee Well-being: Prioritise the mental health, development, and satisfaction of your workers. Without a happy, motivated team, the business will crumble. Stop the cycle of burnout and high turnover by creating a supportive and nurturing environment. 2. Empower Leadership: Allow senior leaders to have a voice and make decisions without fear of retaliation. A company cannot thrive if all decisions are dictated by one person. Foster collaboration, trust, and transparency within the leadership team. 3. Improve Onboarding and Support: Establish clear processes for onboarding, setting targets, and regular one-to-one check-ins. Give employees the tools, direction, and feedback they need to succeed rather than setting them up for failure. 4. Address Toxic Culture: A culture driven by fear and ego is unsustainable. Conduct anonymous employee feedback surveys and actually act on the results. Encourage open dialogue and create a safe space for employees to share concerns. 5. Reduce Employee Churn: Evaluate why employees are leaving and focus on retention strategies. If you keep firing and losing talent, it reflects poorly on the business and drains resources that could be better spent on development and training. 6. CEO Self-Reflection: Sam, you need to step back, assess your leadership style, and make changes. A CEO should inspire and lead by example, not instill fear and micromanage. Recognise that no one person has all the answers and trust your team to contribute meaningfully. By making these changes, Peckwater Brands could begin to repair its reputation and build a sustainable, thriving company. But without these critical shifts, it’s difficult to see how the business will succeed in the long term.

Beware of Peckwater Brands – Misleading, Unethical, and Untrustworthy

I strongly advise anyone considering working with Peckwater Brands to think twice before entering into any agreement with them. My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare due to their unethical practices, lack of transparency, and outright breaches of contract.

1. Misrepresentation of Profitability

Peckwater Brands promised a 20% net profit during onboarding, claiming I would achieve weekly sales of £2,000 and a net profit of £600. These projections were entirely false. Their pricing model deducts 45% + VAT from sales, leaving me to cover all additional costs for stock, packaging, and supplies. It is mathematically impossible to achieve the profits they promised.

2. Lack of Financial Transparency

Peckwater Brands repeatedly failed to provide me with financial statements or invoices. Despite their claims of sending bi-weekly statements, I never received them, and they were not available on their partner portal either. When I requested these statements, I was ignored for months, leaving me in the dark about the deductions made from my sales.

3. Failure to Deliver Promised Services

The company promised key support services, including:
• An account manager to assist with operations.
• A second menu stack (Korean stack) within two weeks of launching the Mexican stack.

Neither of these promises was fulfilled. Instead, their staff members (including my assigned account manager) left the company, leaving me with no support. My emails and messages went unanswered, and I was left to manage everything on my own.

4. Customer Refunds at My Expense

Peckwater Brands processed refunds for customers without consulting me and deducted these amounts from my earnings. This practice is highly unethical and has further added to my financial losses.

5. Unresponsive Customer Support

Their customer support team is practically nonexistent. I sent multiple emails and messages via their portal, none of which received a response. This lack of communication is completely unacceptable for a company that claims to support its partners.

Conclusion

Peckwater Brands has caused significant financial harm to my business and operates in a manner that I would describe as fraudulent. They fail to deliver on their promises, provide no transparency, and leave their partners to fend for themselves after collecting onboarding fees and deductions.

Avoid this company at all costs if you value your time, money, and sanity.

Restaurants STAY AWAY

If these guys have approached you don't fall for it. They'll promise you revenue and support but once you're setup and paid their fees, they go awol. We're missing payments and neither the account manager or anyone is willing to speak on the phone. Callbacks state 5-10 working days but we have been waiting over a month.

There are plenty of vitirual kitchen brands out there, choose wisely because PWB have been atrocious.

Don’t be fooled by them

They will first lure you in with ok brands, and will try to put pressure on you to meet deadlines for delivery etc. however after trading just over 4 months with their brands Peckwater tried to change the contract I have with them under the disguise of “commercial restructuring “ and when my original contract is 35+ vat payable to Peckwater as a commission, under this new so called restructuring only 22% commission payable to businesses. They think we are stupid, ignorant and desperate. I switched off their brands and refused to accept any orders. Furthermore they promise to pay the VAT on the sales. This is borderline illegal, anything comes out of your kitchen/ business premises you are legally responsible for payment of vat, so if they default or not pay it at all then HMRC will come after you. They already have a track record of paying late our money so how can you trust such a company.
So I stopped taking orders from their brands and if they try to switch you over to new “commercial structure “ do not agree. Don’t be desperate you will have much bigger problems later on. They need to realise one thing, without us they are nothing, they don’t have any business. Stand your ground, take legal and financial advice. According to the advice I received I have a ground for legal action to seek damages for the rest of my contract commission payable to me 65%. Don’t be fooled by t try heir promises that you will be better off. They want to make even more money on back of you from wholesale goods that you have to buy via their platform which is already 20% higher than even most expensive wholesalers prices. I gave them
My legal notice so follow my example and don’t agree, they will have to back off or risk loosing decent businesses that is earning them commission without doing anything.
If you are really concerned about lost revenue try other virtual brand companies. There are very good one

Would not recommend.

Would not recommend to partner up with. Unorganised and misleading. After discussing the brand and appliances needed and quickly getting signed on later they add more appliances which you have considered or unable to fit in kitchen.

First stock meant to be around 880 but was over 1300. They clearly are new and don't know what they are doing.

Exactly what I was looking for!

I have been looking for a cash injection especially during these difficult times. Peckwater been perfect for that. I didn't have to buy any extra equipment or hire more staff to make more money. My kids love the Mexican foods. It is going so well that we are getting more brands. We will hopefully open another site with them.

DON'T WASTE £1000 and stay away!

This company takes £1000 of your hard earned money without site inspection or considering health & safety Regulations. They don't care either you make money or not. They include preparation for 14 minutes in the contract but when you start operating they force you to prepare the orders between 3 to 10 minutes. Their system sends drivers as soon as a driver is available. You don't have the control of when the order is ready. This is SCAM. AVOID wasting your £1000.

Peckwater Brands we tried absolutely Ripped off & Clueless

We dealt with this company recently to become franchisee / Using there platforms to get extra sales.

Day one start problem due to luck of their staff management they have no clue what to do. Every day new staff join with no clue they should train there own staffs before putting them on duty.

The company is keep promising to their investors to get funding in reality doing nothing just giving there ideas without having internal training for their own staff.

If you want to modern slavery work…give them a try as they rob you before others thieves such as Uber Eats, Deliveroo or Just Eat

Go direct to delivery platforms at least ripped of by Food Delivery companies not paying for middle man as Peckwater Brands then bagging for your money for weeks or months

Stay away from legitimate daytime robbery
Good Luck if you already joined before reading this comment.
