Do not use this hotel if disabled. Customer service appalling.

When booking 2 rooms for 3 nights I made it clear that I was mainly in a wheelchair and had poor mobility. The lady explained that my wheelchair would have to be folded to go in the lift, this wasn't a problem as I could walk a small amount. I told her I would need a room close to the entrance or the lift. When we arrived we found that the room allocated to us was at the other end of the hotel from the lift. We spoke to the lady on reception who said she would try to find us a room for the next day. There was a coach tour came in the next day so why I wasn't given on of the rooms allocated to them I will never know. We were offered a room on the ground floor, but again the distance was far too far for me to walk.
We was not informed when we checked in that you had to book for breakfast, luckily I asked before we went out as to breakfast times. We booked for 9am for all 3 days. What an absolute shambles it was, no bowls, small plates, butter, nothing was being replenished and there was no juice on all 3 mornings.
On the second night we decided to have dinner in the hotel. After a very long wait the food came out burnt and cold.
The rooms were not serviced properly and items were not replenished. The shower went from scalding hot to absolutely freezing and the shower screen was broken meaning the floor was soaking wet after any shower. Again, quite dangerous for someone with mobility issues.
The room was roasting hot as the windows can only open a tiny bit.
When we got home I called head office on the Friday. The lady whom I spoke with said she would investigate and call me back on the Monday. I called her the following Monday (a week after she was supposed to call me), she explained that she had an email from the hotel but hadn't read it yet. Great customer service.
She then went on to say I had been shown many rooms, I was shown 1. Other issues weren't really touched upon, but she really was not interested and said they could offer me a discount on my next stay. Why would I go back somewhere that left me in absolute agony? Apparently she's calling back next week, but I'm not holding my breath.
If you are a disabled person do not use this hotel. They really don't care about their customers, they are just after your money.
Customer service is appalling.

Fantastic hotel- StaceyK

Fantastic hotel, check in and check out is always quick and easy. Staff are extremely polite and helpful and bring a smile to our face.
Breakfast is not THE best but it is lovely nonetheless. We are frequent customers here and I can not name one bad stay we have had.
Beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. Bathrooms are beautiful! Especially the one with a jacuzzi bath in!
Overall very pleasant hotel with wonderful employees who genuinely want to make your stay as nice as possible.
