seems to be they clsoed all their operation and ran away! not of the email and phone numbers working. I was with them for over 2 years, no sure what they have done all the payments to HRMC as they were my embralla company! they have probably ran away with millions of ££ and one one will be bothered! Shame on those for intrudcing these inside IR35 regulations and giving these so called umbrella companies a chance to make money and run away!

Similar to the last two negative reviews, I have been with this company for over two years, and they transferred all contractors to another company called NumberMill without any prior notice. This was done with no professional courtesy, which I found to be very unprofessional.

They dumped every single Umbrella contractor without any notice, no notification of any sort at all, and have left me high and dry and still waiting for May's invoice to be paid by my client who I was contracting for as they didn't even bother to inform them either.

Thinking of using Pendragon, I wouldn't if I were you

Ceased to function as an umbrella and dumped all the contractors without telling them until the next day.

Seems like a genuinely good company. However, why must an employee chase up for their employee benefits more than 3 times? When my agency pays you for my sweat, you don't chase me for what's yours,, you deduct with no questions or chasing me for it. Not impressed!

Efficient and friendly service with low overheads and decent perks.

Always responded promptly to any queries, and most importantly got pay and income tax right, and on-time every time.

Annie G was my personal agent, she and the other staff I dealt with were brilliant.

I'll happily go back to Pendragon if I have to use an Umbrella Company again.

This is my second assignment for which Pendragon have provided umbrella company services. As ever, efficient in getting things set up, excellent responses to questions and always on the end of the phone.

I would recommend pendragon. They always answered the phone when i called, they always called back when they said they would. Brogans communication was so good, very helpful, professional and polite on the phone. thank you for being so kind to me, I will definitely like to work with you again when I return to the UK.

I tried a couple of the other larger umbrellas before Pendragon and they were terrible!

Pendragon are extremely efficient.
I reached out to them when starting a new IT contract and within a day or so they had my relevant information set up and I was ready to start the contract effect of immediately.
Their correspondence is timely and detailed and I went into contracting more confident knowing they had everything covered on the back end.
Would recommend for new and existing contractors looking for a top level umbrella.

I was required to use an umbrella company due to the changes in the IR35 rules. I was extremely sceptical due to a very bad experience with an umbrella company years ago. I chose Pendragon based on their good reviews and am very happy to confirm they were excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Top class service all round.

Everyone at Pendragon, especially Lianne, made the transition from a limited company contractor to working under IR35 very simple. They are very responsive and I would highly recommend them.

I moved to Pendragon after receiving very poor service from another umbrella company provider. The experience couldn’t have been more different, from the beginning the staff and the service could not have been better. Any queries or questions were fully answered quickly. Would highly recommend.

Umbrella companies are all over the place. All contractors know that now, IR35 victims especially. You can google umbrella companies and their will be hundreds.

Why did I choose pendragon?

- Their cheap
- They didn’t hassle me to join because they don’t need to.
- They grow in size from reviews like the ones on here.
- You get a dedicated service and don’t talk to someone different every time you ring up they know your background.

I worked for Airbus defence and space and they are quite strict on who they will work with through their main HR company Guidant Global. When IR35 came in I needed a umbrella company fast. Lianne the contracts relationship manger had me up and running within days. No pissing about she rang the agency sorted all contracts between both I just signed and started getting paid. This is a genuine honest review. I’d be careful for the likes of PAYSTREAM and big office based umbrella companies but that’s my opinion.

I can’t tell you to go with pendragon but for; responsiveness, professionalism and stress free weeks. I know if If I needed one again I know where to go.
