Look elsewhere

I have been their client over 15 years and recently they completely blocked my accounts because I couldn’t verify my address.in the states. I explained I am a US diplomat living abroad and therefore do not have a utility bill in the states. Despite sending evidence I am a diplomat. My account is still blockes after almost a week. The issue is still unresolved. Furthermore, they want to add a Mexican address as my home address which can flag my account and make it worse. I can’t believe they don’t know how to handle the situation with government employees stationed overseas.

The Fraud Dept thought I was frudulent!

Terrible Fraud Department Agent who did not listen to me. This person should be fired. I called to have them unlock my account. Agent seemed inexperienced, and insecure, and she had to ask someone higher what she should do. They stated they would keep my account open, and that it would remain locked forever. What is the point if I cannot use it? Thank you!

Took my money despite fulfilling request.

PenFed sent me a notice to login to my account in order to keep it active, because I hadn't visited it in a while. I did so as requested. About a month later it took my money out of my account as unclaimed property. Customer service refused to reinstate it, and provided me with a website to search for my money (who in turn had no idea I ever existed).
