I have had Penzu (free version) for many years, and I can't say enough about how much I appreciate it! I use it for journaling, photos, etc.

Yesterday I was prompted to upgrade to penzo pro which I don't want. After several attempts to log in to my original account I got nowhere. Can't get a person on the line but was required to pay for a 'pissed customer' form with my credit card. No thank you. I have valuable info in my old account & just want to access it. WHAT A RIPPOFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SUCKS!!! I am new to the app. New again, used it 10 years ago without problem. I typed several long entries that matter deeply to me. First time I ever got it all out from decades back. NOTHING saved. Seems to save if you only do a couple of lines.

Do not use Penzu
I have been using Penzu for a few months, and from time to time journal entries were just being deleted, in the beginning I was thinking that's my own fault but I realized after many of those deletions that I did nothing wrong. In order to restore a deleted entry you have to pay for their PRO features.
So basically they delete your entries and want you to pay money to restore them, this is a horrible experience.
After reading a medium article by gavinricardo on Penzu I realized those deletions didn't just happen to me.

I like this website :)
I'm sick of my mom sneaking into my room, and reading my diary without permission. After she reads it, she tells it to everyone. I was really mad at her, and wanted to find a way to write in my diary without her reading it. A week later, I found penzu!! I really liked how it has a password instead of a lock. My mom didn't find out about my secrets after I signed up to Penzu. Thank you so much Penzu!!! I love that site!!!
