Absolutely horrible experience

This is another place that is just gone two trash the only people they can find jobs for people who have had a lifetime of experience in picking up garbage can pass the background check and a piss test they have to have a driver's license and a car okay so the background check and piss test is no problem but I mean then they just cherry pick their way through their list and they say well we just people people ask for them by and they don't put no one to work but it makes me wonder if they only send three people out of Dave how do we keep their office open and pay their staff unless they're making twice as much as they're paying you stay away from this place this place is garbage it's garbage

DO NOT WORK HERE! DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE FOR ANYTHING!

People ready in general and especially their Aurora Colorado office hires overtly racist managers who will let you drive hours to an Instant Accept assignment only to tell you're late when you're not and then lie to you and tell you they have enough people. Do not work here. If you do you will get screwed over one way or another. Today they cost me 4 hours of driving in holiday traffic in extreme 98 degree heat in an unairconditioned vehicle and also cost me $20 in gas for an assignment that I accepted and confirmed twice and even left a voicemail saying I would be there only to be turned away along with two other persons who were also on time but were the wrong color. I ran into this at other People Ready offices but this one has the addition of screwing people over one way or another. Another person there besides the racist power obsessed manager named Jackson who's too cool to have a first name, is some other disgusting human that just sits in the job site check-in trailer stuffing her face all day.
In case anyone remembers People Ready used to be Labor Ready which was the worst of the worst. At my company we used to call them Rent-a-Drunk so with the horrible reputation they changed their name. Apparently the name may have changed but their shady and unethical business practices remain. The parent company is True Blue Incorporated.

This version of Jobstack is HORRIBLE!

I love using People Ready for our needs. We have used PR for 10+ years and it has been a very positive experience. This review is about the Jobstack App and not the workers or staff of PR. I have zero complaints about the workers and staff I have worked with over the years. The new updated Jobstack app is HORRIBLE. They took away several key features that made the app so easy to use. On the job last Saturday, Nov 2, I spent 30+ minutes trying to find the features that used to be there and are no longer available. What a waste of time! Several of my workers have issues with their hours - I was not able to put in their hours let alone edit them to make the workers whole. I will have to spend more time today working with each of them and with PR to make sure they are taken care of. PR if you want to keep your customers happy then FIX the app. Right now it's terrible and has wasted a lot of my time as well as your workers time and trust.

Uses fraud to contact businesses

Uses fraud to try to elicit business information. I was cold contacted through text to dispute a fake profile and then spammed a bunch of fake attempts to login, in an attempt to make me contact them.

I am not an employee of People Ready…

I am not an employee of People Ready and my complaint is valid & I would like to make public!!
For the last two weeks People Ready/Job Stack app has been giving me issues preventing me from completing the onboarding process.
They have a weekend position I really wanted and have experience.
I called the office and spoke to Charlene and due to app issues I was directed to APP SUPPORT.
She couldn't help with the issue so she transferred me back to the office and Charlene asked me to visit the following day, which was for today. So I arrived today at the time she selected, leaving work early to make it. And because I wanted that weekend job badly. It would have gotten to my PLAN C and helped with two other goals.
But having to deal with people is why some of us are broke. I have a strong dislike for LAZY, USELES PEOPLE IN A POSITION THAT COULD HELP OTHERS.

This location was far and in North Las Vegas so to make it convenient for myself and not end up taking 4 buses and to make it possible to visit after work since I work during the week from home and trying to make it there before they close, I rented a vehicle.
IT WAS MY BEST OPTION!
I planned to rent a vehicle every weekend and my PLAN B will pay for it and PLAN C was getting this weekend job! I hate when I good plan fails due to a trifling person!

The vehicle I would have rented would seriously be paid for every weekend with money left over from plan B. Believe it or not this plan I had would have helped me save money coming from 3 places.

Only problem is the vehicle I rented today and without having the weekend job first charge PER MILE and I drove 40 minutes! It would have been worth it had she not wasted my time pretending to be helpful over the phone.
I made it there, I provided my SSN/DL, she gave me 1 page of the I9 form and then she stated there's two parts of the I9 form and yet she only gave me one part! Charlene should be ashamed of herself!
People Ready 365 West Craig Rd, Las Vegas, NV.

She said "you are going to have to come back on another day when we have the rest of the I9 form". It was that difficult for her to use her computer and print the form. She knew yesterday that she was going to need that i9 form since she mentioned it. YET DID NOTHING TO PREPARE. She's working in a staffing agency so why not have extra copies of everything?

They need help in that office since she needs to go home!
I take my job, time, health, money all seriously and it's clear she doesn't!

I would never do that to people! You never know the struggle people are in. DO NOT DO THAT!!!!

If it were the other way around!
I would have gotten everything needed and had her complete it all while there and that includes orientation. PEOPLE READY NEED PEOPLE.

Right from the beginning I showed her my interest in all that I did without owning a vehicle. Not only can I work during the week, and still get there at the time she selected and on time.
Never mind my vehicle status!
My complaint is valid and so are my feelings, time and money!

She new since 10/13/2022 of me since she spoke to me and that I would be arriving 10/14/2022 at 4:30 PM or before. I wasted hours and $50! I prepared, walked to pick up a vehicle, drove and all for nothing!

It would have been worth it to do what I did for the weekend job I would like.
But now since she showed ZERO sense of urgency, when she knew I was coming, she showed no competence in her self or work, since she didn't even try to help. I am not at a loss.

I told her I could go online using my cell phone and pull up the I9 and email it to her, since she PRETENDED she couldn't get it on her own. She actually never even tried.

She wanted me to visit her on another day for the 2nd i9 form.
WHY WOULD I DO THAT?
So she could pretend to not know she needed paper for her printer and waste my time again? I am done with lousy people purposely being lazy and inconsiderate!

I work M-F and left work early just to make it to People Ready By 4:30 PM.
I showed I was serious and a sense of urgency ALL FOR NOTHING!
I work from home! I am no longer interested in People Ready due to this Poor Excuse they have working named Charlene and I will SHARE my experience...

My complaint will be sent to HR, and I will call them!
I am also reporting this on Yelp, Google and now Trust Pilot. People are broke these days...
Getting a job is very important. More importantly hiring people with customer service experience is more important and my time and money was wasted from a person who knew I was coming and never planned to help me. WOW!
This is the 2nd time this has happened to me this year from two companies. These people act as if we need to JUMP THROUGH HOOPS TO GET A JOB.
Guess who's NOT GOING TO DO THAT?
I made myself available when I would M-F and I will not do that again! I will find a better company that values people and appreciates anyone who's interested.

I AM ANGRY AND CAN'T EXPLAIN HOW DISAPPOINTED I AM WITH MYSELF FOR TRUSTING A CLOWN!

I spent an hour and a half on the online application. There was one part that wouldn't load properly. I tried calling a variety of phone numbers. No one was helpful. A bit standoff-ish if anything. Also they REQUIRE a ss#. Who feels comfortable providing that online?

Yukky yukky people.
