I had an excellent experience shopping…

I had an excellent experience shopping with Pepperfry! Right from the moment I walked into their experience studio, the staff was extremely helpful in guiding me through options that matched both my style and budget. The product range is fantastic—well-curated, modern, and high-quality.

The buying process was smooth, and the delivery was right on time as promised. The products were packaged very carefully, with no damage at all. Assembly was handled professionally by their installation team—quick, neat, and hassle-free.

Most importantly, the product quality of the queen size bed and 3 seater sofa exceeded my expectations. The furniture feels sturdy, well-finished, and exactly as shown in the store. It truly adds a premium touch to my home.

Overall, Pepperfry has set a benchmark for how furniture shopping should be—from the in-store experience, to delivery, assembly, and finally enjoying a beautiful, high-quality product at home. I would 100% recommend Pepperfry to anyone looking for reliable service and great furniture.

Pepperfry is FRAUD

I booked Pepperfry TV unit on 9 August order number - 310485826. After long wait of 20 days and crying, on 29th August your mistri Pradeep ( Mobile 7985781659 ) visited me to assemble TV unit.

He didn't allow me a few seconds to take pictures of the packed box after removing plastic, he was in such a tearing hurry.

After working for a few more minutes, when he was fixing back side boards, I asked him which side these wholes will fall. He was fixing them in wrong manner and still he got angry on me and left the site leaving every thing scattered. Enclosing photos of the same, these photos have been shared with Elante Mall, Chandigarh branch manager Punjit Singh and Warehouse manager Ashok Yadav.

While running away, Pradeep told me "ab aap court kachehri karo".

Please teach manners to your staff before you send them to your customers' homes. Do the background check before you hire someone to send to your customers' homes. Please don't hire or send such goon type people into the homes of your customers.

Please let me know what action is being taken against mistri Pradeep.

Ashok Yadav (7889015208), Warehouse Manager, Pepperfry is a high class liar, totally incompetent, incapable. Always backs out from his own words. He committed assembly of my TV unit multiple times, it never happened. No one ever reached the site on his given time. Till now he was dilly dallying, today he has officially agreed that he can't get it assembled. Please take your product back.

Pepperfry employs the most crooked sales staff who don't let you get a feel of ultra pathetic after sales services. These people are just interested in pocketing the money and they damn care what happens to the customer later on. Punjit, branch manager and chandan Arya, sales person at pepperfry, Elante Mall, Chandigarh did the same to me.

They don't have infrastructure to service what they sell.

They have goons type mannerless mistrys, who will misbehave with you after entering your house. Pradeep mistri came to my house and ran away with in few minutes, after opening the box, left everything scattered and told me "ab aap court kachehri karo".

They start crying it you tell them to take it back. Never buy pepperfry products.

Hello All

Hello All, I brought a bed in 2023 and it was delivered broken and I thought they have improved and bought couple of wardrobes and again they delivered a broken base piece and although I have raised a refund and replacement request I am not getting closure. Very inefficient customer service.

Pathetic service.

Pathetic service.
The product is not of great quality and every day a new carpenter is assigned and he don't respond to the calls and the uninstalled bed is lying.
Even after contacting their customers care they are least bother to resolve issue , they have one answer just wait for two more days .
Do not buy from pepperfry , fraud people.

Horrible Experience

Horrible support team they have, absolutely clueless. They will not give you an update on the delivery date; you are expected to sit at home and wait for delivery. Customer care is clueless and only follows a script, making it one of the worst experiences I have had. Trust me, do not buy from them.

DAYLIGHT ROBBERY

DAYLIGHT ROBBERY! Ordered 2 x queen sized mattresses. Lead time 10 days (Amazon is 1!). Only 1 arrived, wrong size! Since then, I’ve sent 10 emails, talked to 3 “dedicated” agents, multiple chats, sent all “photo and video evidence” with rigid instructions proving the product was incorrect, and after PF were satisfied I was being honest…. they said a vendor would arrive. YET it stays sat in my house after 3 failed pick ups because each time their VENDOR sends a vehicle that’s too small to fit the mattress… 3 times!! The robots at PF won’t process my refund, won’t follow up with the vendor, and whenever I reach out, I get the autopilot message of “we will check with our internal team and come back after 3 days.” As of today 1 hour ago my issue remains OPEN, 6 weeks on and my money stuck. Nobody cares! If this is how PF is making money, they need to be sued!!

Feedback on Pepperfry.com — Extremely Disappointed with Service & Support

wanted to share my recent experience with Pepperfry.com, which turned out to be deeply frustrating and disappointing.

I ordered a mattress (ProAdapt Dr. Certified 4D Sleep Tech ErgoMax 8 Inch Latex King Size) using my card to get the associated benefits. Unfortunately, I realized the very next day that I had selected the incorrect mattress size. Since my order hadn't shipped, I immediately reached out to their customer care for correction.

Despite multiple discussions, the only solution Pepperfry provided was to cancel and rebook the order, with the catch that they would deduct a 2.5% cancellation fee—simply for trying to fix a genuine mistake on a non-shipped order. As a customer who values transparency and fairness, this was disappointing, to say the least.

To make matters worse, after I followed their instructions and initiated the cancellation, I received an email from Pepperfry stating they would NOT be able to proceed with my order cancellation (despite their own advice to cancel and reorder!). The email went on with a generic explanation about their process, failing to offer any logical reason or support, and only directed me to contact them via website or chat for further help. After much back-and-forth, my cancellation was finally acknowledged, but by then the experience had left a bitter taste.

The lack of flexibility, unclear policies, and the unnecessary penalty for a basic error—on top of the impersonal and unhelpful communication—was extremely disappointing. The overall attitude showed no real concern for customer satisfaction or retention.

Given this experience, my recommendation is to avoid shopping at Pepperfry if you have any other options. There are other platforms in the market that respect their customers' concerns and won't penalize you for making a simple, honest mistake.

Think twice before choosing Pepperfry — it could end up costing you more than you bargained for, not just in money, but in time and peace of mind.

Its Lousy service

Its Lousy service . I placed order on 6 aug where it was confirmed that I shall receive by 10 Aug. I have not received till 12 Aug and there is no communication from them. We can not call them . Tracking shows order placed & nothing more. Avoid using them as poor service & on top of that Poor communication.

I ordered a product from Pepperfry.com…

I ordered a product from Pepperfry.com last month and paid the full amount upfront. At the time of purchase, they gave me a delivery date of August 7. I waited patiently, but the item was never delivered—even beyond the promised date.

Worse, I contacted their customer care multiple times via email, and every time I received the same automated reply: “Your product will be delivered on or before 7th August.” Even on August 8, I got the same copy-paste response. There was no way to speak to a real person, no proper escalation channel, and absolutely no customer service to resolve the issue.

They also refused to cancel the order or issue a refund, leaving me stuck with no product and no support. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a scam—they took my money and failed to fulfill their basic promise.

⚠️ Please be cautious before purchasing from Pepperfry. This kind of irresponsible behavior and lack of accountability is shocking, especially for a big platform.

Worst Pepperfry

Pepperfry Bangalore: My Worst Experience

This has been my worst and most pathetic experience with Pepperfry. The service is terrible, and the company’s overall approach is highly disappointing.

I had ordered a shoe rack that was supposed to be delivered on the promised date, but it wasn’t. There was no update or communication regarding the delay. I had to initiate contact myself, which was another challenge—they mostly prefer chat over calls. On chat, I kept getting the same automated responses from different people, with no real resolution.

After 2–3 days, the product was finally delivered—but it wasn’t what I had ordered. I showed the delivery person a picture of the actual product I ordered, but he simply said, “We’ve been told to deliver this, please contact customer care.”

To make things worse, Pepperfry had charged me for an assembly service, but the product came already assembled—and damaged. The plywood on the shoe rack was coming off. I raised a complaint with customer service, and they asked me to share pictures. Initially, they suggested a replacement, to which I agreed. But again, there were no updates—neither from the customer care team nor on the app (which is completely useless, by the way).

After two days, I told them I no longer wanted a replacement—I wanted a return instead. I had lost confidence in their delivery and was unsure about the product quality. They agreed, but again, I received no updates. I had to keep following up through chat and calls.

On calls, they would tell me the pickup would happen in 5 days. On chat, I’d get the same automated responses with no real answers. It was extremely difficult to connect with their customer support.

It took nearly 12 days for them to finally pick up the product—after endless calls, chats, and emails. They asked me to send emails, but never responded. Instead, I received automated replies stating that my query was “resolved” even though nothing had been done. At one point, they even sent emails claiming I had denied or canceled the pickup, which was completely false.

The entire process was frustrating. Due to this delay, I couldn't even buy a replacement product. I suggested that if they couldn’t pick up the product, they should at least refund me and collect the item whenever they wanted. Finally, after a long struggle, they took the product back, and I received my refund.

Even my family members have faced similar issues with Pepperfry regarding product quality, delayed delivery, and the return process. Despite that, I took the risk of ordering—but it turned out to be a big mistake.

My sincere advice: DO NOT buy anything from Pepperfry.
The service is poor, the product quality is bad, and customer support is completely unhelpful.

Instead, go for local stores or trusted online furniture platforms like Home Centre, Urban Ladder, or Maple. I hope this review helps you make a better decision before purchasing from Pepperfry. @Pepperfry

ordered a wardrobe from Pepperfry expecting quality and professionalism, but what I received was an absolute nightmare.

The product arrived damaged, with cracks in multiple places, and a gap between the doors that makes them unusable. Even the carpenter sent by Pepperfry admitted that the wood used is of very poor quality and won’t last.

I raised a complaint immediately and have been following up via calls, chats, and emails for days — but there has been zero proper response or resolution from Pepperfry’s end. Every time, I get the same scripted replies and no real action.

I clearly asked for a full refund and reverse pickup, but they have done nothing so far. This kind of service is completely unacceptable, especially from a brand that claims to be trustworthy.

My advice: DO NOT buy furniture from Pepperfry. Poor quality products, even worse customer support, and absolutely no sense of responsibility once they take your money.

The experience with pepper fry is one…

The experience with pepper fry is one of the worst ever I have experienced. Products are not that great when compared with the price. But the worst part is their customer service. They do not respond to you from the moment the payment is done. they dont receive call if they know that the particular customer is calling, do not reply to messages as well. By mistake if they receive call, they give other person's number, They make reasons not to talk to you by saying Out of station, not reached the store, Having lunch nd so on stories. I had to hit my head dealing with the unprofessional staffs there.. I wont suggest this outlet as so... many other brand stores available at banglore..but No Pepper Fry again!

Delivered a damaged sofa
No quality check
Cancelled order on May 27 — still no refund
Warehouse kept trying to re-deliver
Support team completely clueless, giving conflicting updates

On June 12, I was told the damaged product was “fixed” and asked if I still wanted it!

This is not just poor service — it’s a complete failure of process, ethics, and basic customer respect.

Ashish Shah, as the CEO of Pepperfry, do you stand by this?

I’ve waited patiently for weeks. Now I’m going public. If this doesn’t get resolved, I’ll be escalating further — through consumer forums, legal action, and every platform available.

Customers deserve better.

Very very worst quality regarding finishing manufacturing wood quality varnishing etc
Very much careless even after second time replacement, unfinished putting, cracked wooden pieces are pasted somehow, nail ends are open somewhere and so on. Possibly the products are used products.

Absolutely Avoid Pepperfry – Worst Experience Ever!

I strongly urge everyone to steer clear of buying any furniture from Pepperfry. Their showroom sales team at Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore, is full of promises — but the reality is a nightmare. I purchased a 3-door cupboard just 8 months ago with a 3-year warranty, and the door lock is already jammed. Despite repeated attempts to get help, their after-sales service has been non-existent.

Never buy anything from Pepperfry. Their products are of very poor quality, and they supply defective items. I was cheated by their Bhandoop branch, imagine how their online service would be. Their customer service closes your query without resolving the issue. I would never recommend buying furniture from Pepperfry. Worst in terms of both quality and customer service."

This was the WORST online shopping…

This was the WORST online shopping experience we’ve had .
The customer service is absolutely useless . They don’t solve any problems and concerns and all they do is apologise and day they will write an email to the higher authority (don’t know who that might be).
The delivery was delayed by 4 days when my order was placed on the pretext of being expedited .
Loads of lies , zero delivery .
DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I bought a three door wardrobe . The uninstalled wardrobe was delivered on 29th April . Today its 3rd May , still no one came to install the wardrobe . Pathetic Customer care and service . They keep saying within 2 days and that 2 days has still not ended . The uninstalled wardrobe is still lying dont even know the quality of the product . Its a horrific experience .
