Performr is a UK booking marketplace for live entertainment. We connect event organisers — wedding couples, venue managers, party hosts and promoters — with performers they can browse, compare and book directly, with prices shown up front. Booking live entertainment has traditionally meant DMs, phone calls, and deposits paid into personal accounts on trust. Organisers can't tell what an act costs without asking. Performers chase invoices for weeks after a show and hand a share of their fee to whoever made the introduction. We built Performr to remove all of that. Every listing on Performr shows real prices and packages — no "enquire for pricing". You choose a date and a package, then either book instantly or send a request the performer confirms. Payment is taken upfront by card and held securely rather than paid straight to the performer. At the event, you share a unique Performance PIN with the act once they arrive. That PIN is what releases their payment. Organisers never pay for a no-show, and performers never chase an invoice. Every act sets its own cancellation policy, displayed on the listing and again at checkout. Whatever is shown is exactly what applies, automatically, if plans change. Reviews work both ways and neither side sees the other's until both are written, so nobody writes a review in response to one they've already read. Performers keep control of their own pricing, calendar and terms. Identity verification and payouts are handled through Stripe. There are no listing fees. Performr is launching in the UK, starting with London's drag and cabaret scene, and expanding across act types and cities. Performers anywhere in the UK can create a profile and list their act today.
