Very bad broker - a tourist trap!!

We rented from this broker a super villa in Santa Maria di Leuca at around 1.000 euro per day for three weeks plus expenses.

The villa was crap. Kitchen wasn't furnished properly and not working, TV system was down and had to be mended like also the lights in the swimming pool.

The overall maintenance was very poor and the electricity power went down several times.

The broker failed to give us, if not only marginal, assistance.

Very bad experience for what should be a luxury location. A tourist trap (and we are Italian)!!

grazie per la sua mail di risposta ci scusiamo per averla disturbata ma ci siamo stupiti di ricevere una recensione dopo un anno per un soggiorno nel 2021.

Se ci avesse avvisati durante il soggiorno avremmo potuto intervenire ed evitare che si portasse avanti questo “rancore” crediamo sarebbe stato più corretto darci l’opportunità di intervenire invece di ricevere una così severa recensione dopo tanto tempo.

Accettiamo a malincuore la sua decisione di non voler rimuovere la recensione e ci dispiace che non voglia più usare la nostra agenzia.

Horrible experience with the agency

Horrible experience with the agency. The property was ok, but the services of the agency were horrible. After we paid almost 6000 euros for renting a villa for 1 week, and also a deposit of 500 euros, the deposit was not returned (because there were some things left and some waste) even if the contract specified that only 80 euros will be retained in case of non disposal of waste. The agent(Lisa) had a very rude attitude and blocked my number after I wanted some answers for this.

Your group of people hasn't taken all the rubbish from the villa which costs 80,00 € and your group has ripped up a light pole in the garden which costs 150,00 € and this is exactly the amount of money we have taken from the deposit. We know that you have left the villa some days before and have not been there to verify what happened.

This is the status quo and we are sure you understand now how it came that the deposit could not be refunded entirely.

Luxury stay was more like a cheap rental

A promised luxury stay included the following: our check in person sending us to the wrong place and arriving 1.5hrs late, 2 showers not working, one of the stoves not working, the dishwasher not working, no promised bbq, the WiFi barely functional… the list goes on. It would be barely acceptable if we had paid $1500 for six nights, however we paid 5 times that. They are rip off artists

Update: in response to their comments, the location given was given to us as a Google map pin from the person meeting us, the WiFi was slow and as I pointed out only worked in one of the 4 buildings that made up the residence. There was no bbq, there was a shelf with 6 broken pieces of brick, and no grill. I’d point out as well that despite your company knowing about the myriad of broken appliances from the moment we arrived, over the course of a week you sent no one to fix the problem. The only reason we received over 60% of what we paid back was because we went directly to Marriott who we had booked with and they were so embarrassed by our experience that they refunded the bulk of the rental fee- partly in recognition of how unhelpful your team was and the fact that you seemed to think we should just live with a rental that whilst might look nice in the pictures was filled with broken appliances, broken showers and non functioning or absent amenities.

Regarding the wrong meeting point, you most probably made a mistake in putting the adress into your navigation system the same mistake you did with the deliverer of your wine to the wrong adress.

Regarding the home equippment, WiFi was perfectly working in the main building, the barbeque was there and perfectly functioning.

Regarding the stoves, the dishwasher and the shower, we have immediatly send a technician to solve it and gave you a rimbursement for the inconvenience and apologized.

Nice place, but needs modernization

It’s a nice area and nice place. The housekeeper was very friendly & helpful. However I deduct a few stars because of the following: the house is nice and spacious but the interior, garden & the fittings urgently need modernization.

We had beautiful holidays

We had beautiful holidays. Outside, it is perfect with the pool, covered terrace, much space, ecc. Really very nice!!! Inside, most of the showers are not working perfectly. W-lan, a dishwasher and a "Stewi" (for hanging the wet towels and clothes outside) are a must, but are not there! Inside, it could be a little bit nicer for this expensive price. The street to the beach/centre is a bit dangerous to walk. The rest was really great. The 2 men of the agency (Claudio and Andrea) have been very nice helpful and always on time. Also by whatsapp quick answers. Thank you!!

A very very unhappy holiday

We paid for the villa to be EXCLUSIVE but the owners, the Fortunato family, decided to stay at the villa for most of the days we were there. We are still waiting for a refund on this.
The refrigerator was never very cold so a lot of our food was ruined.
There are many many other things I could write but I want to keep this review short and sharp. A very very unhappy time for our family.
I did not want to write this review as I thought it would damage our chances of getting a refund. Here we are in October, 2 months later, and there is no sign of a payment. For anyone who is considering renting this villa, I have a word of advice: Don't.

Scam

We have booked a stay during the pandemic through the website Abritel (Expedia) and we couldn't go to Italy due to travel restrictions.

We wanted to get at least a voucher for a stay next year but it's been impossible ; the agency never accepted the demand and Expedia mentioned they were unable to do anything. This is unacceptable and barely legal.

unfortunately we cannot find any reference of a booking on your name with us, nor we do have a reservation number related to your feedback (which normally happens for guests' feedback here on Trustpilot).

Instead we will use this feedback for the following reasons:
Give you the opportunity to grow and be a better version of yourself!

We do not sue you for defamation to set a positive example you have the chance to voluntarily delete the offensive and discrediting text against us. Moreover we dissuade you from future comments on any channel or social network.

Let us just give you a free advice: you are using words such as "mafia and ladro" most probably because you ignore how strong and cruel those words and the concept behind those words are.

great holidays in Puglia

The house was really super, everything we needed was there. The one thing that bothered was the sofa bed in the second bed room - it is only suitable for small children. A twin bed or two single beds would be much more suitable.

The pool was great and we spend a lot of time there. It´s a 15 minutes walk to the beach

Rental of Villa 1 year ahead

I had an inquiry for a Villa that went beyond the normal booking. The staff was very friendly and understanding in dealing with my request and putting the wishes forward to the property owner. Very flexible also with the use of different communication media i.e. Whatsapp; email and phone .. all no problem. The rental is for 2021 .. so more to come.
