The laziest Customer Service Manager…

The laziest Customer Service Manager across all the retail sector. Why is this person still employed there? They can't be bothered to take a customer call / deal with a complaint, they leave all the heavy work to their support agents. It's such a disgrace!

Persol Sunglasses

Persol Sunglasses: Zero stars was not an option, otherwise I would have chosen. Trying to get a refund for sunglasses that didn't fit. Waiting 32-days from the date they received the returned sunglasses. My weekly inquiry to Persol regarding my refund is very consistent; wait on hold for 20-minutes with the same outcome; we will process your return in 3 to 5 business days. This is so messed-up. Persol; never again.

Two cancelled orders in a row don’t bother

Placed an order 1/17, on 1/23 they cancel it, refund on credit card takes another week. They say not in stock. Placed another order 1/30, on 2/6 they cancel and say not in stock, waiting on refund. Both frames are still listed on website.

Joke of a company, if you call they cannot tell you if something is in stock. They say out of stock items are removed from website within 48hours. As of today 2/13 both frames are still on website. If you order prepare to be frustrated.

I would rate 0 if I could

I would rate 0 if I could. I had horrible experience with the Persol website and am looking into a class action lawsuit. If you have had a bad experience with their customer service which directly impacts your ability to secure a refund, post your experience here. I’ll follow up with additional information once I finish meeting with attorneys. Persol USA has very deep pockets and maybe this class action will wake them up.

Worst customer service

Worst customer service. I had higher expectations considering the cost of the products. The only way to communicate with customer service in Australia is via email. Very frustrating when their response does not address the actual issue and I have to wait 24 hours before they respond again. After receiving a faulty pair of sunglasses I need to send them back at my cost before they will refund or replace. No dealers in Australia either. Very disappointing.

AVOID!!! Terrible quality terrible customer service

Stop and think before considering to order from persol . I wish I had read the reviews before I made the mistake.
As someone who does about 90% of their shopping online this was by far the worst customer experience I have ever had.

I ordered a few different styles in hope of selecting the right pair for me. Almost 6 weeks had passed and still no sign of my order, after some chasing it was confirmed lost. By then I was no longer interested in owning a pair so I requested a refund and received an email refund conformation, Great!..Not really, they changed their mind and sent me replacement instead which I specifically said I did not want obviously because its more cost effective for them to replace than is to issue a refund.

After receiving the unwanted replacement I had a look at the sunglasses and was shocked by the quality further solidify not wanting a pair.

The customer service is just as awful the quality. They refused to issue my refund for the lost package even though I have email proof that it was processed and they also refused to take back the unwanted replacement.

I have had to make numerous phone calls and every time I was wrongly informed about when I would hear back, some would say by the end of the day, 5 minutes or 24 hours but end result was always nothing, I had to chase. Every time you email it will be a different person responding as they only have one generic customer service email.

I have had no option but to escalate the matter and seek professional help to resolve the issue.

Excell.ent service on two occassions

Several years ago I ordered four frames from Persol ,kept one and sent three back. As I needed new specs I tried to order some frames but had difficulty with the web site. I asked both my daughters for help. Neither of them could order the frames but they said given the bad reviews I shouldn’t use Persol. I overcame the IT issues and ordered three frames. These were received two days later. Unfortunately none of the frames were suitable, so I returned them all.I received my refund three days later. Whilst I was dissapointed that none of the frames suited, the service was excellent

Quality of the product is awful

Quality of the product is awful, after less than two months use (and keeping them in the case when not wearing) the hinges had loosened and they would not sit on my face correctly. The nose bridge is way too wide and so they slide down my face persistently which is really annoying.
I've had sunglasses that cost less than £10 that last longer than these (obviously with less superior lenses but these are useless if you can't even wear them!)
Customer service is unhelpful and unwilling to assist claiming that it is my fault the hinges are not as tight.
Personally would not buy from Persol again :-(

Awful after sales experience

Glasses look great , they don’t hold up well at all and if you ever venture down the road of trying to use your warranty coverage, good luck
Luxortica/persol doesn’t care about anything but selling you the crappy built glasses they advertise as hand made

I have been trying to return a pair for over two months and they can’t even figure out my order number even though I’ve provided it 3x

The website promises 40 days return but…

The website promises 40 days return but when you try... the return link is unavailable and when you try emailing the contact email, it doesnt work either.

Horrible mistake to trust this site and brand. Never again.

Ordered a couple of pairs of Persol…

Ordered a couple of pairs of Persol sunglasses off their website.

Used their interactive tool to size them up and see how they looked, the online tool was reasonably close to how they look on me in real life.

I ordered direct as I signed up to their makers loyalty program to receive a free monogram on the frame.

Sunglasses turned up well packaged, on time and my experience was a positive one

Delays of refund not honored

I ordered 2 glasses from Persol and did a return which has been delivered on the 17 July. I pushed them but still no refund now . Nice people but delay of refund isn’t honored. Order 3156379247071.

Received a defective pair of…

Received a defective pair of sunglasses. Was then made to wait over a month for a replacement whilst they were being sent back to “Italy”(standard T&C’s). I assumed they were going through a meticulous quality control process then I received another pair with the same defect. 😂 . Complete cowboys.

Ordered some new glasses at £400

Ordered some new glasses at £400, paid then got a message asking me to join the matches scheme and I would get £20 off my order and free engraving.
It was too late to apply it to my order so I contacted customer service by email who state they aim to reply by 24 hours.
Having not recieved a reply I decided to call customer service and on two occasions the phone was just cut off before anyone answered, then I spoke to a foreign lady who hung up on me part way through the call.
I thought they were a luxury brand but clearly they don’t take customer service seriously as this has been a long way short of a luxury purchasing experience

I purchased 2 pairs of glasses on sale…

I purchased 2 pairs of glasses on sale not knowing my size my fault!I ordered 2 mediums in my case they were too big and I began the return process I had to ship back at my own expense and repurchase them it took over a month for their website to allow my transaction and I finally got through to them after they stated the original sale price I purchased 2 ,because of ,will be honored .I ordered 2 smalls I receive them finally yesterday (still not honored the discount) only to open one size small and a large !!!I rechecked my order to see if I could've been so incredibly stupid to not check the size but it wasn't me,it was one of their geniuses who packed this.how can you not read or check something that's so inconvenient to buy already with their terrible service ?

Nice glasses / awful customer service

Nice glasses. Really poor customer service and experience.

I bought some Persol 3007v eyeglasses. Very happy with them. Cool, understated and elegant.

I then decided to buy the sunglasses clip and cheekily asked for a discount. To my surprise the person agreed to give me a promo code for 20% off, which was greatly appreciated.

So far, so good.

Then it goes wrong. After a number of aborted attempts to use the code, they sent me a new code. Again, it didn’t work.

After a few more days they contacted me to tell me that the promo code does not work with that product.

Oh. Not much good to me then…

Perhaps, as it was their mistake - and I had just spent £500 on glasses - they might honour it anyway?

No.

They would not give me a paltry £20 off when my total spend is almost £600 🤬Wow.

Looking on here it seems that I am not the only person who has found Persol to be unsatisfactory.

Very disappointing and a good lesson in how to turn a happy and satisfied customer against your product/brand.

Garbage

Just got the sunglasses today and guess what...they didn't joke...this is hand made...actually very bad hand made. Frame side are not symetric.left side is upper than right side. I have paid almost 300 dollars to get a piece of s**t. Anotger advice for people who doesn't know. Those glasses are heavy. You won't be able to wear it all day log like other light glasses.

Persol is pathetic!

Their customer service is honestly the worst I have encountered in the modern era. They cannot get prescription lenses correct! They don’t value new or existing business & even their execs don’t respond to customer emails.
