Out of date product no customer service.
There product is out of date difficult to configure and their customer service is non-existent. There is no phone number for them. They don't answer emails and I wish I had read the negative reviews here before purchasing.
PEACE OF MIND? CHECK!
First the company: Really good customer service and easy to deal with. Helpful guidance on setting up the alarm. The Product: Excellent quality, good features and a very good price point. Usage: The alarm proves its worth over and over. It gives enormous peace of mind to both the carer and the older person. I think that it should be "mandatory" equipment in care situations, particularly where a person is wanting to maintain a level of independence. We had to deal with a few emergency situations and having the alarm was such a great help. Thanks so much.
Peace of mind
I purchased this personal alarm for a family member and it has truly given both of us peace of mind. Knowing they have quick access to alert for help in an emergency brings such reassurance. My family member also feels much more confident and secure knowing that with just a quick press of a button, they can notify someone if something goes wrong.
It’s simple to use, compact enough to carry everywhere, and gives that extra layer of safety that really matters when you’re away from home. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting an added sense of security while travelling or even for everyday use.
The alarm we sourced from them has been…
The alarm we sourced from them has been a life saver for our mother.
phone purchase
Grandmother uses the phone and it’s easy to use big keys and flip phones are easier to manage. Great customer service and quick delivery
Big Button Phone
Bought a Uniwa phone to escape the doom scroll. It’s a shame it doesnt have a headphone jack because it’d be nice to listen to the radio on a commute but it’s a cute little thing that gets the job done! Staff are really lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend PAA products if you’re looking to detox from social media and apps but still need to make phones calls/text.
Personal alarms Australia.. a must have
Purchased a personal alarm a short while back for my elderly mother. It was the best move our family has made to ensure her safety, and peace of mind knowing she will be able to get help immediately in the case of an emergency. The alarm works very well and alerts us of low battery , a fall and an emergency where the button had been pressed. All functions as promised (you can test these before you add the 000 number)
Bought their medical alert watch
Bought their medical alert watch, super happy with product itself and the team's service.
Personal alarm
Bought the personal alarm pendant for my mum. So far so good. Did a test a couple of nights ago and all the features work as expected. We are feeling a lot safer now that she is wearing it.
Essential If you have an elderly person in your life
If you have an elderly person in your life and you are questioning if you should purchase one of these safety measures, then you should already be ordering. As a nurse who has works in aged care, with call bells and support staff 24/7 we have residents who still wear the watches and alarms on a necklace on top of all the supports available in an aged care facility. If your loved one lives at home then I believe this is essential. This company I discovered after assisting residents and family’s find the appropriate equipment and it’s been amazing. I know I can recommend and when there has been issues the customer service team was empathetic and professional. I feel peace of mind knowing I’ve contributed to the safety of our growing population and relief for the families. Do not hesitate.
Dying customer wants to return- no can do apparantly
We purchased a personal alarm for our 92 year old mother on the 11th October. She was diagnosed terminal on the 14th. The alarm arrived 16th. We were obviously quite distracted so didn't open the package until a few days later. Didn't open anything within just looked for info to return it.
They have just told us they don't refund except for defective. The goods are untouched and resaleable. It's really not acceptable and so ACL will be contacted as the client didn't just 'change her mind' she is dying and has no use for it and the item is new, unpackaged and can be resold. Seems like this might be an unusual case but should have been looked slightly more compassionately
