About 2 years ago, I remember seeing an ad for Personal Capital on a YouTube video. I looked into it, and really liked the broad depth of account aggregation abilities available. I decided to sign-up for an account, and I have loved it ever since!

I love the being able to see all my accounts in one place! You don't know how helpful to see all my credit cards, bank accounts, and loan accounts all in one place. I can quickly glance over everything once a day, and make sure everything is in check.

The data visualization tools are really good too! I haven't tried Mint, but I hear it is better for budgeting, but I can't really see how. I think the categorical pie chart PC uses is really good, zooming in when you click on specific categories. I guess maybe PC doesn't have push notifications if you spend so much in a category, but again, I look over all my accounts once a day, so I know when I need to constrict, or when I can expand my spending.

And their service has been excellent too! When I have had some account aggregation issues, they have been able to update links, or reprogram on their end within a day or two.

Have not resloved issue with my bank in over a month.

I used to use mint before and I was hesitant of switching apps and attaching all the accounts again. But it was a great decision! Overall I love the app. I would love to see more security feature for better peace of mind. Great work!

While it's frustrating I'm unable to add some accounts to my Personal Capital account, I am still able to add them manually, and the features and functionality of this platform are amazing and I use it all the time to calculate my net worth. Highly recommend!

Solid, robust app. Very useful. Clean, intuitive interface. More connectivity issues with linked accounts than I'd like. Customer support is responsive and professional, but resolution often lingers a long time.
Added features seem to respond to user demand. I recommend.

The thoroughness with which Personal Capital helps you understand personal finances and investing for retirement is so above and beyond anything else I have used. It is extremely easy to link all appropriate accounts to encourage saving, reduced spending and expanding your nest egg. The phone app is easy to use and navigate also. I would highly recommend this service to anyone.

Very convenient way of knowing your net worth. I like that it has graph that shows if my net worth is improving or not. It just has glitches at times but overall I like the software. I use the app, I don't know if the desktop features are the same as the app though.

When I linked accounts in Ameritrade, Personal Capital double counted them, reporting a 60% phony increase in liquid assets. They refuse to even discuss or open a trouble ticket. I've noticed other glitches. All they want to do is push their for-fee advisory service.
