Never received item and negative customer service

I ordered a custom blazer and pants for my wedding at the end of the month (april 2026). I ordered at the beginning of February and i understood that there was a lead time for the embroidery (20-25 days) but they never responded and i have followed up multiple times - not even updates to shipping or anything. There is also no way of cancelling your order or getting a return for the items. Its the worst customer service i have ever received and still havent heard back or received my items and its now been 2+ months and $700 out of the box, with nothing to show for! Seriously, do not order from them, save yourself the time money and well being - its just a surprise the major credit cards still allow for transactions to go through for this merchant given how pervasive this behavior seems throughtout the reviews :/. Just unsettling, please be warned and save yourself.

Good shirt, but a logistical nightmare.

The T-shirt itself is high quality and I’m happy with the product, but the experience of getting it was unacceptable. I was told 15 days, yet it arrived 3 months later. I ordered on December 2nd for a specific event, and it didn’t arrive until March, making it useless for its intended purpose. On top of the long wait, there was zero communication from the team—I had to constantly chase them for updates. To make matters worse, I was hit with an unexpected government tax/fee that wasn't included in the already high price.

No updates, no proactive communication!!

Is the shirt nice? Yes.
Is it worth a 3-month wait, zero communication, and surprise taxes? Absolutely not.

Perte d ego ruined my wedding

Perte d ego ruined my wedding!

Purchased suits online in November for a February wedding. Reached out to customer service with measurements etc as asked, confirmed with customer service that both suits would be arriving on time for February 5th. They confirmed. No changes made to shit outside of color of jacket on one.
First suit arrived 6 days before wedding. Held in NYC to pay tariff. Second suit arrived on February 7 after paying tariff on February 4th.
Speaking to customer service is absolutely slow and painful. It takes days or almost weeks to get replies.
Promises and guarantees made by customer service mean absolutely nothing.
Got married in an old suit because we were trying to be so positive that they would both come. Looked out of place and honestly felt stupid that my husband looked amazing and I looked like a wedding guest. Imagine once in a lifetime event, photos, videos and memories no way to get that back. Emailed customer service to let them know how disappointed we were and how we felt so disrespected, maybe due to same sex wedding. Two weeks later they gave us an $80 coupon for ruining the most important day of our lives.

Great customer service & beautiful shirt

I am seriously impressed by their customer service. I had an issue with a product that I ordered, and while the original was absolutely beautiful (the embroidery was gorgeous) unfortunately the fabric irritated my skin so I couldn’t wear it. I contacted customer services who were understanding and offered to send me a new one with a lining installed - well, it’s just arrived, and I’m seriously impressed. Fantastic customer service, taken from a problem to a brilliant solution and without it feeling difficult or a fight, they just rectified a problem in a really great way.

Beautiful shirt arrived just in time!

I ordered a hand-embroidered shirt on 14 Feb 2026 to wear for an engagement photoshoot on 25 Mar 2026. Although the shirt took longer to process than was estimated on their website, I reached out to their support email address roughly a week prior to the photoshoot and received prompt assurance that they’d prioritize finishing and shipping my order. I was admittedly doubtful even after receiving their assurance, but sure enough, they DHL-rushed my order and the shirt arrived two days before my shoot.

The shirt itself is beautiful — so much so that I plan on ordering from Perte d’Ego again soon for my actual wedding suit (this October).

I highly recommend Perte d’Ego, with the caveat that one ought to submit their order as early as possible.

No product delivered, no response to inquiries.

I ordered a custom suit for my son’s wedding 3 months ago. My bank would not allow the transaction and flagged it as suspicious. I contacted this company and they responded immediately telling me to use PayPal, which I did.
I sent them the measurements, with questions to make sure I got them right. No response. I emailed again. No response.
The website says orders ship in 25 days. Now that it’s been 3 months I have sent them messages twice asking about the status. In the last email I stated that if I didn’t get a response this week I would initiate a refund. Again no response.
We are now panicking. My son is going out of the country in a month and then coming back for the wedding so we may not have time to find an alternative if it doesn’t come before he leaves and it doesn’t fit.
What I wanted to be a special suit for my son that he could always have has turned into a super stressful experience that may have cost me over $600.
So disappointed!

I was traveling through Europe and had ordered my package to the wrong address. The team was incredibly helpful in making sure I got all of my items even though I had made a mistake. Also, the quality and individuality of each piece is unmatched. I have probably 10 items and will continue to order more!

BUYER BEWARE

I placed Order #32140 on February 8, 2026 for three items totaling $355.00 USD — a patchwork full sleeve shirt, patchwork lounge shorts, and a "Santorini" half sleeves shirt.
Note: Perte D'ego is based in India. International buyers have limited recourse outside of payment disputes with their card issuer.
On March 7, I contacted them requesting an update. On March 8, Perte D'ego responded: "The order will be shipped out next week." It was not.
On March 12, they followed up: "It will be shipped within 5–6 business days." It was not.
That is two written promises, both broken, with no tracking number, no shipment, and no refund issued.
I have since filed a formal dispute with my credit union and reported the merchant to Shopify.
I have retained all order confirmations, payment records, and email correspondence.
Buyer beware — particularly international customers who may have fewer protections and less recourse.

Scam company that doesn't fulfil orders

Website listed that a t-shirt would take 20-25 business days to arrive, and over 2 months later, absolutely nothing. Despite several emails to customer service, they choose to not reply. Any time I ask a question through their social media channels, they delete my comment each & every time so they can continue to scam further people out of money. Pert D'ego spam my inbox with further sales emails every single day, but they are unable to fulfil any of their existing orders. I have reported the company to my bank as fraud.

4 Months and No Items

I ordered 2 items from them 4 months ago, and have not received them. Multiple emails have been sent to their ‘customer care’ team, who have told me that there are delays in production, that they received a ton of orders, etc…. A ton of excuses, and no actual developments. For a company that advertises as much as they do and charges so much, I would expect even half-decent service. DO NOT ORDER, as you will likely not receive your items.

This entire experience has been a **complete disaster** and without question **the worst customer service I have ever experienced**.

I placed my order with Perte d’Ego on **December 1st**. For **two full months** I heard absolutely nothing and only received a response **after repeatedly following up and asking about my order**.

Since then, I have been continuously given new promises that the shipment would go out in **6–7 business days**, then **3–4 business days**, and later even **2–3 business days**. **None of these promises were kept.**

I have **requested a refund several times**, but these requests have simply been ignored.

Now it is **March 5th and I am still waiting**. The shipment has been **“announced” for almost a month**, yet it is apparently still sitting with them because **documents are missing**.

This entire experience has been a **complete disaster** and without question **the worst customer service I have ever experienced**. Constant excuses, false promises, and no real solution.

**I would never, ever put myself through this stress again and would strongly advise others not to order from them.**

Complete scam company

Complete scam company. Was met with horrible and rude customer service. I would never think of writing a bad review for a company but I was completely scammed out of my money, was never given my purchase or refund, and was then asked to pay $80 more dollars for shipping months later AFTER I already purchased.

Do not give this company your money and I wish I looked up reviews beforehand.

Absolutely non-existent customer…

Absolutely non-existent customer service. They are prompt to reply when it comes to measurement taking but the second you have any issue it is radio silence. They made my suit smaller than the measurements I sent and there has been no response at all from four emails, instagram messages and posts. They just want your money - avoid them!

The clothes are great

The clothes are great. Very stylish and I always get compliments when I’m wearing their stuff. I’ve been buying from them for years. It is true it takes a bit longer to get items from them. So I wouldn’t order thinking you can wear it for an upcoming event for example. I just buy what I like and know it’s coming eventually. I’ll keep buying because I love the unique fashion.

Two months later (8 Feb)

Two months later (8 Feb): no delivery, no refund

I placed an order on 30 November.
As of 8 February, more than two months later, I have neither received my order nor a refund.

I contacted customer service multiple times:

First I was told my order would ship in 7–8 business days

Later I was told 3–4 business days

None of these promises were kept

Due to the excessive delay, I clearly asked to cancel the order and receive a refund.
I also explicitly stated that I do not want the items shipped anymore.

Despite this, my cancellation request was ignored, the order was not refunded, and communication became unreliable.

This is not a small delay — it is a complete failure in order fulfillment and customer service.
Keeping a customer’s money for months without delivering the product or issuing a refund is unacceptable.

I strongly advise against ordering from this company.
